I'm Fine, See?

A blaring horn sounded from behind the ship! The trio swiveled their heads back before they could truly take in the view.

But they still saw nothing. The stern was tipped up slightly, blocking whatever vehicle was making that sound.

HOOONK!! HONK!

Ayse was fast to react to the warning horns. His hand spun the helm to turn and scoot the shoot away. However, having a fast mental reaction and performing blind evasive maneuvers with the old clunker were two very different tasks.

The old ship spun around as quickly as its lone thruster engine allowed. All hover pads near the stern rushed to level out the ship.

All that did, though, was offer the posse a split-second perspective of an incoming ship, one more than five times larger than the Shag Man.
