Mocke succinctly explained, "I don't think you'll see it that way. It's about your betting horse. She had a run-in with the amir on board, but no deaths or injuries at all."

"That's one down, and only two more to go." Vice Captain Natch appeared in the corner of the screen.

But Captain Banders wasn't deterred. "We've still got six more days, don't count your winnings just yet."

Interjecting between the captains, Mocke continued, "The reason I'm calling is because she bought anonymity. And now we've got to pay her a visit to offer the ship's guarantee."

"Oh goodie! You heard the man, Natch. I've got somewhere to be, probably for a long while. You're in charge while I'm away!"

Captain Banders bolted out of his chair like a teenager after the ring of the final school bell. Natch couldn't do anything to stop him.

"He didn't let me ask if we're meeting up beforehand or at the suite," chuckled Head Officer Mocke.

Duh, ding.
