Ezdrah nodded without reservation. He scrolled a bit till he had it on display. "As you can see, Head Officer, they were active until forty-nine minutes ago. Their last recorded location was at the scene of the massacre."

Mocke squinted… then he nodded. "I see. That is sad to hear. Is there anything that you know of that might have spurred the actions of this criminal? Anything at all?"

Ezdrah folded his phone shut and put it back in his pocket. "I'm sorry, Head Officer Mocke, but I truly know nothing. This incident was as much of a surprise to me as it was to you."

"Very well. Thank you for your time, My Lord Amir." Mocke stood up with a bow, putting his hat back on.

"I'll continue with the investigation with these things in mind. Should I find a need to visit you again regarding this investigation, will you grant me a bit more of your time?"
