Date

Puck was seated opposite her new boyfriend as they were eating together.

They met up in a small restaurant where they had a meal together and the mood was very pleasant between them.

Each of their actions showed how close they had been as a couple in their smallest actions from sharing food and small flirtatious exchanges.

Laughter came from them on occasion as they continued to enjoy their time together.

Just when things looked like they would be coming to an end, they became a little quieter.

Puck was feeling a little nervous and quietened down before opening her mouth. "I got this for you when shopping. I hope that you like it and that it is not too much."

She was feeling a little nervous and fidgeted a little before taking out a small wrapped present that was pushed over toward her boyfriend.

The cat quirk male narrowed his eyes for a moment before putting on a slight smile. "Oh, you shouldn't have. I will accept it gladly. Thank you. I wish I had gotten you something."

Puck smiled shyly. "It is fine. It is enough that we can spend our time like this together."

She was not too bothered about him returning anything for the gift she purchased since it was a two-piece set that she could use too.

She already put aside the other half while gifting the other half to him so it was the type of gift that let her feel close to him if he was keeping it with him as she did the same.

Her feelings were put into the gift she gave him but it would still be nice if he had similar feelings as her that he would keep it with him and treasure it.

If he did get something for her in return then she would still feel very happy to know that he had the same feelings as her.

The money that she spent to buy the gift did not take much from the spending money that she earned through her usual gang activities and jobs so she did not think that it was too big of a gift for the first gift exchange between them.

Their date soon came to an end and they parted ways like usual before Puck went back to her usual activities.

Everything seemed normal between both of them and it seemed like they had made a small leap forward in their relationship.

What was not normal about the whole exchange was that there was an unknown variable involved.

That unknown variable just so happened to be the gift that was given away to her boyfriend.

Puck had no idea about the abilities of Tiffany or what Tiffany had done to it so she ended up gifting her boyfriend something that had been tampered with without knowing a single thing.

Her boyfriend took the gift and did not feel a single thing strange about it from the exchange he had with Puck.

If Tiffany learned one thing, it was that sometimes, allies had to be deceived when necessary.

Sometimes it was better that they knew nothing about a plan so that they would not give anything away through their words or actions.

It was just as important not to let Puck know anything yet since there could end up being nothing wrong.

If Tiffany took such action only to find that nothing was wrong, her actions would not only be seen as invasive, but they could greatly upset Puck and cause her relationship to suffer as a result.

If she did plan on bringing Puck into her little plan then it would have been difficult to convince her to go along with something like that since it would have been difficult for her to think that anything was wrong and the idea of spying on her boyfriend was a bad start to their relationship.

The moment that she gave in to doubt and suspected something of the person she was dating, it was a slippery slope as she would begin having more doubts and would become paranoid.

Once the trust between them was broken, it would be difficult to maintain and she would be holding onto her mistrustful actions unless she confessed everything.

Such things could easily break the relationship, so Tiffany chose well to prevent a breakup if her worries happened to be wrong.

She continued to listen in occasionally from the gifted necklace that was hung around the neck of the cat quirk male but nothing seemed out of the ordinary for most of the day when she did listen in.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary as he went on with his daily life and went to his work at a store in a mall so his background seemed ordinary.

Night came and he finished up with his work before heading out as he arrived at a bar and made his way to a quieter part in the back.

He came to a back room where another man was waiting for him in the dark.

Their appearance was difficult to make out in the darkness but the cat quirk male seemed quite familiar with them as they sat down opposite them in a relaxed manner.

The person sitting there spoke up first. "So how is your little job going?"
