Lose Her Chance With The Angel.

"And I used to think I was the only one who thought this place was filled with stupid rules" Ariana was stunned while turning to see Noah, a high guide standing behind her. She quickly greeted him with a bow, unlike Nicki who was too love-struck by what she was looking at and stood speechlessly.

"Nicki…" She had to pinch Nicki hard to bring her back to reality, the girl was too far gone.

"Ouch.. that hurt, Ari" Nicki complained with her eyes unmoving, it was firmly stuck on the guy right in front of her. He must be an angel sent on earth because he doesn't look human or a werewolf. 

"Bow, he's a high guide" Ariana moved closer and whispered to Nicki.

"A high guide or an angel?" Nicki asked with her jaws closed now. She figured out not to embarrass herself but to play things cool here instead. This might turn out to be the first real chance a boy gets to talk to her and she won't mess it up. Her history with boys has never gone off with a good start or ended well either.

"What?" Ariana was slightly confused by Nicki's question, however, that wasn't important at the moment, so again she made her know she was supposed to act respectfully. "Forget about that, just bow now, show some respect" 

Nicki bowed as Ariana told her to, since she told her to bow to this guy, she guessed he must be a well-known figure around here. Didn't Ariana mention something like a high guide a few seconds ago? What's a high guide now? 

"You guys didn't have to do that, I kind of feel a little embarrassed now. I was only trying to be part of whatever you had going on here" Noah, the high guide, flashed Nicki and Ariana a smile as he talked, and the amount of effect it played on Nicki made her weak in the knees.

Oh God, is this guy her guardian angel? If he is, then she's forever grateful.

"Oh, you were? You just took us by surprise, we had no idea you have been standing right behind us all this time" Ariana was the only one keeping the conversation between them and the high guide moving. She observed Nicki wasn't going to say something when she was acting a bit strange or maybe stupid.

"Sorry if I startled you guys, I was only passing by when I noticed you dragging her out of one of the seats. You must be Ariana Gomez, right?" The high guide asked with a guess in his mind, he had seen Ariana around multiple times for him not to easily recognize her. 

"You didn't have to apologize, high guide, and you are right, I'm Ariana Gomez" Ariana felt uncomfortable with the high guide's apology and his nice acting only made it kind of worse. Just like their names and status in this place. High guides are well-respected prominent people, so it's rare to see them talking to a common student like her.

In one simple word, high guides are renownedly known to be a very proud and arrogant set of people, who feel like they deserve to be worshiped like idols.

"And she is?...." Noah pointed to the girl standing right next to Ariana. She looks oddly familiar but he can't seem to recall where he knew her from or her name either. 

"Nicki.." Ariana got cut short by Nicki moving to stand in front of her and stopping her from completing the introduction.

"I'm Nicki Landon" Nicki took on from Ariana, she didn't have to answer because it wasn't her name the high guide or angel wanted to know. 

"I knew it! you are Nicki Landon, the girl who defied the Alpha and went unpunished" The high guide smiled as Nicki helped him recall where he knew her from. He knew his thinking was right, he knew she was the infamous Nicki Landon that has been trending rampantly ever since she arrived here, it just kind of escaped his mind at the very moment it wasn't supposed to.

"Yay, I'm Nicki Landon only, not the girl who defied the Alpha and went unpunished" Nicki pretended to be happy and changed her mood immediately too. She was crushing on the high guide till he had to ruin her mood when he called her the girl, who defied the Alpha and went unpunished. 

She knows already she was infamously known for that here, he didn't have to remind her about it again.

"I'm sorry if that came out wrong, it's just what everyone knows you as around here. You keep getting popular" The high guide scratched the back of his head feeling kind of bad for what he said. He observed Nicki wasn't happy with it, he only said it jokingly, he didn't mean to ridicule her.

"Yeah, the wrong kind of popular, and I never even wanted to be popular" Nicki frowned, being a popular kid wasn't her thing and now she is. It shouldn't have been this type of popularity where it didn't come with a good reputation.

"So…high guide, is there anything you wanted to tell us?" Ariana chipped in, getting rid of the awkward conversation Nicki and Noah were having. She could observe how uncomfortable Nicki was with it.

"Nothing actually, Ariana. I just felt like coming to say hi and meet the famous Nicki Landon myself. Word has been spreading real fast that you both hang out all the time, so I figured out she would be with you, that's why I came" The high guide's attention moved to a certain direction where a girl suddenly called his name, and was waving.

"I would have loved to hang out with you guys a little bit more but duty calls. See you around later and please be casual with me, you can call me Noah anytime you guys see me. I will be off now" With these words, Noah hurriedly took off to answer the girl who called him. 

"Well, I think it was an honor for a high guide like him to talk to us, but I also think it was really weird," Ariana said after a few minutes of silence reigned between her and Nicki while the high guide was leaving and they watched him.

"Call it weird but I think it was cute though he kind of ruined my mood for a minute. Who is he?" Nicki's eyes didn't go off the high guide even as he was walking away from them. He has a sexy body and a very fine ass to be precise. Oh boy, why is she staring at his ass now?. Next, she would be getting dirty thoughts now.

However, the dirty thoughts weren't going to happen because it wasn't duty that called the high guide, but a girl. And to make things worse, he shared a kiss with her which was going to give Nicki nightmares if she finds out from Ariana that the girl he just kissed was his girlfriend. 

She would lose her chance with the angel.
