"Are you sure that you want to meet her? Are you sure about that? What if she tries to hurt you? I think you shouldn't go, Erika," Ethan's voice continued to fill Erika's ears and the latter couldn't help but sigh helplessly.

Since her back was facing Ethan, she turned to look at him and could see his worried eyes, creased forehead, and restless posture.

She didn't know what to make of his hands that were on his hips as he stood like a married woman who was waiting for her husband to give her money for shopping after he refused to not give her any. That posture earned Ethan a chuckle from her and his already creased forehead creased even further.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked her and she laughed even harder this time, opening her mouth widely as her tone of laughter echoed in the room.
