FOOLISHLY

At the back door house, where all the lights were still on and men with guns walked around, a woman sneaked for the back door, opened it, and closed it afterwards.

Finally, inside the house, she wiped off the sweat that glistened on her forehead and placed her hand on her chest as her heart pounded in her chest rapidly.

Exhaling a sigh of relief, Felicia walked towards the kitchen counter of the house that she and Adrian had been living in for the past three months.

Opening the fridge, she took out the jug of water and a glass cup. Lifting the jug to pour water inside the glass cup, she caught a shadow move at the side, and instantly, her hands slipped and the jug dropped on the ground and shattered.

"Where have you been?" Adrian questioned Felicia, noticing the dress she was wearing and the makeup that she used to adorn her face. If he hadn't known that she was Felicia, he would have mistaken her to be Erika.
