The Core

The wolf poured his aura through his paw onto the kid's back, sitting behind him. The white spark was clear, but the kid couldn't see the aura the wolf spoke of. The wolf found the kid's body interesting and realized it was taking a while to get to his core, Suddenly, the wolf exclaimed, "Finally...what! What is this?!"

The kid wondered if there was something wrong while he was taking in the aura, but then he saw it. "Is this the aura? It looks different then on outside. When it was floating around the wolf, it looked like a glowing dust, but now it looks like a stream of water"

The aura began to flow to the kid's core like a couple of streams of water. However, the wolf realized that there was something wrong with the kid's core. "It feeels like its pulling all the aura in, but at the same time, it isn't getting inside. Does his core not have a passage to flow through? If not, then this will be a problem. There is no way to get this aura out now. Even if i stop, it will slowly damage the kid's body" The wolf thought to himself, "Only if..."

"Hey kid!" the wolf said to the kid. "Yes?" the kid replied. "Your core is completely closed. If we don't open it now, then it's highly possible that you will die. I want you to focus on two points on your core on both ends of the sphere. I will force my aura there and try to make a passage so the aura can get in," the wolf said. "Isn't that dangerous? Can't we just stop?" The boy replied. "We can't kid! Stop yapping and concentrate! This is the only way for you to survive!" the wolf replied. The wolf thought to himself, "His core is definitely different. I might lose at least two levels opening it, but forget that now. Lets go!"

The wolf started focusing his aura on both ends of the sphere, and the stream of aura began to look as if it was drilling in the core to both ends. The kid coughed out of pain, but nonetheless, he did as the wolf said. The wolf squinted his closed eyes even more as he poured more aura. His fur started floating harder, and the water in the pond started to move away from both of them. "AAargh!" the kid screamed. "Just a little more!" the wolf said. The boy gritted his teeth and flexed his body out of pain. "Hang on a little bit, kid," the wolf thought to himself.

Then, *crunch* the wolf drilled two holes in the kid's core, and the aura started pouring inside violently. "Don't stop! We need to calm it!" the wolf said. "Urghh!" the kid screamed as the aura aggressively moved in his core. The wolf thought to himself, "This kid's core! It's pulling all of my power. I already lost one level opening the passage. Do I need to lose another one?!" "Dammit!" the wolf said as the kid's core started to pull his aura even stronger. "Stop!" the kid screamed. "Hang on!" the wolf replied. "AAARRrrgggh!!" the kid screamed out loud from the bottom of his lungs

The boy let out a loud scream that resonated through the forest, but it wasn't in vain - the aura that had been violently circling inside his core slowly calmed down. "We made it, kid," the wolf said as he put his paw down to the water. The boy slowly opened his eyes and couldn't believe what he was seeing. The forest, which had been devoid of life, was now shining.

"Is this the aura?" the boy asked. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" the wolf replied. "But sit still and calm your core, close the passages so your aura won't be leaking." "It's completely closed," the kid said. The wolf was amazed and couldn't wrap his head around it. "Forget that," he said, "I will try and gather as much aura as I can. I depleted a lot on you, so don't run away, kid." The wolf closed his eyes and started to gather aura around him.

The boy looked around with wide eyes and a big smile on his face. He stood up and jumped out of the pond, examining everything around him. "Whoa, this tree looks magnificent! It was silvery-brown, it looked like it was dying, but now it's full of life! Huh?! And where did those bugs come from?! Now that I think of it, I didn't even see any other life except the wolf since I woke up. Was it because I didn't have any aura and just couldn't sense them? Hahaha, this is wonderful!" The kid laughed and jumped out of happiness.

The wolf was still perplexed by the boy's abilities. "What really is that kid? His core was completely closed, without an ounce of aura in him, but it was eating my aura as if it was nothing. And what is with those horns of his? Is he from the goat tribe? That's not it, he would need to be at least level 8 to take a human form, but he wasn't even level 1. Hahh my beautiful levels, I was level 6, but now I'm level 4. My human form is much farther in sight now. But when I take into consideration this kid, it might be worth it. I am looking forward to what else you will show me, kid," the wolf said as he spied with one eye barely open.

"Now that I have this strength, what should I do?" the kid said as he started to think. "Well, firstly I should test my abilities. How high can I jump, and how far can I jump? How long can I run? Or how many push-ups can I do? Omgg, there is so much I don't know where to start! Okay, let's start with how high I can jump. Firstly, I will gather aura to my feet, slowly bend my knees, and jump!"

The kid tries to gather aura around his feet ,after some time he finally achieved it. "Exactly like this!" he then jumped and flew as if he was light as a feather. "Woow," the kid said in wonder as he looked down at the ground while he was standing in air. "How high is this?" the kid said as he started to fall to the ground. "Ouch!" he says as he fell on the ground and hurt his butt when his leg slipped. "Aargh, why does it hurt so much? saying as he rubs the pain away.

But how high was that? It was at least five meters! How much was I able to jump on earth? Meter? That's like five times more here! This is wonderful!" The kid laughed as he stood up from the ground. "I fell pretty badly, but if I keep my legs covered in aura, it shouldn't hurt when I fall, right?" The kid asks himself as he tries again. He was right, covering his legs in aura when he fell definitely softened the fall.

The wolf watched the boy's eagerness to explore and chuckled to himself, realizing that the boy couldn't sit still for two minutes. After a hour the wolf got out of the pond, and water dripped from his lower bottom. He shook his body and the droplets splashed on the kid. The boy shivered and felt cold as he stood drenched in water. "What was that for?! Now I am soaking in water, and it's starting to be cold, if I get sick it will be your fault!" he shouted at the wolf.

"Don't worry, you won't get sick," the wolf replied as he walked closely to the boy. "You are going to deplete all the aura I gave you now. Don't waste it like this." The boy was confused. "What do you mean? I feel like it's still the same," he said. "There is no way, kid. Every action depletes a portion of your aura, and if you use it like you did now, it will go to waste in a matter of minutes," the wolf explained. "Listen kid, I will teach you how to use it properly. What you did was nothing but just leaking your aura out so everyone could sense you. When you cover yourself, try to make a layer around yourself. Make it hard and sturdy. Try and force all of your aura into it."

With a sharp focus, the boy listened to the wolf's teachings. He began accumulating his aura around himself, and it looked like a white fire was surrounding him, but he couldn't soften the outline. "Is this all the power you can get into it?" the wolf said to the boy, while his face looked disappointed. "All of my power? Ku-ku-ku," the boy laughed at what the wolf said. "Who said this is all I can do?!" he said as his eyes started to look angry. "Forget it kid! you will deplete all of your aura like this. You will learn it later," the wolf said as he started to walk away.

"Kuh! Why can't I do it? Is this all I amount to?" the boy thought to himself as the aura around him started to move more violently. "Did I die to be nothing in this world as well?!!" The weather started shifting as the kid's aura started to move even more violently. Bushes and crowns of trees started to rustle, leaves at ground level started to fly away, and the wolf's fur started flopping. The wolf then turned around to face the boy. "Haha, this kid!" the wolf said as he saw the layer of aura seven times bigger than the boy himself. "Suppress it!" the wolf yelled at the boy.

"Don't tell me what to do!!" the boy replied as he started suppressing all the aura around him. The violent fire started to become smaller and soft. When finally, the boy was able to make a thin layer from all the aura he released. "What do you think about my powers now, you big old wolf?!" the boy said as he shifted his head to face the wolf, completely out of breath, while a thin layer of aura surrounded him.

"Ke-ke-ke," the wolf started grinning and growling, looking like he had gone mad. He then burst into laughter. "Hahaha! Kid! Do you know what you just did?! Amazing! You were able to open your core, and in the same day, even do a skill which takes normal humans at least three years to master! You are a genius!" "Hehe, do you really think so, Mr. Wolf?" the boy said as his eyes started to close, and he fell to the ground.

"Hmm? Was this too much for him? No, It's not surprising. This day took a really good toll on his body, opening his core, and he even achieved making an aura layer," the wolf thought to himself while he walked to check on the boy. He put his paw on the kids back to check if he is still fine. (What?! this kid!! he is still suprising me even more!)
