An Offer She wants to Refuse

It seemed a little late for a ride to the police station for Sakura, but the insisting party wasn't going to give her any peace otherwise. Instead of making another escape, she chose to cooperate and learn how they managed to find her and what she could do in the future to avoid it. She sat in a white room, with a small table between her, the detective and hero. The light bearing down was too bright against the walls, and the emptiness made noises echo. She glanced at her reflection in the large mirror adjacent.

"Haruno-

"Sakura," She hissed back, continuing to look away, hand under her chin proving her disinterest.

"Sakura," Tsukauchi started, "Okay we've got a lot to cover, so let's start with why you ran away?"

"Good start," Sakura said snarkily. "It was worth leaving my warm bed for,"

Shouta's eyes hardened, the tips of his hair lifted as if there was a breeze in the room, "Watch the attitude. You're already in trouble. And look at us when we're talking,"

"Oh, I'm sorry I'm usually very suave during my interrogations,"

Tsukauchi sighed, "I just need you to answer our questions honestly. Now Sakura, why did you run away? If you were frightened it's understandable-

"I wasn't," Sakura felt the need to correct that quickly on account of pride.

"They why did you run away from the social worker?"

"I am not going to be put in a foster system. I take better care of myself than any stranger would,"

"Well the law believes otherwise, especially when it's a certified, approved adult over a runaway teenager, with acts of vigilantism against her," Aizawa stated watching her through tired eyes, arms folded.

Set in their ways were the people here; she was quick to establish that when she arrived. A gap was set through age, and the ones with the most weight to tip the scale of judgment were those with more years to their names. Deciding what was right or wrong. The polar opposite to the dynamic of her world, where age alone wouldn't earn you dominant authority, but where experience and skill contributed as well.

"I didn't get to ask before, but how did you people find out where I lived?"

"That's the thing with internet stars, they tend to stand out," Answered Shouta, hearing the pinkette click her tongue.

The detective opened a yellow folder that had been laying on the table, screenshots of her fighting the villain, and some reports, "There's a video of you defeating a villain, and several witnesses reports matching your description from victims who were supposedly saved by you on different occasions. Do you have anything to say to that?"

"You're welcome, and you people should pick up on the night patrols,"

In less than an appreciative mood, Shouta glared at the pinkette, "You are really pushing it kid,"

Sakura held up her hands in a shrug, "Well sorry but I don't understand what I've done wrong or what you want with me. I only came here as a courtesy. It would have been a different situation if you attempted to use force,"

"You're arrogant,"

Sakura tilted her head at the dark-haired man, "Is that a crime?"

"No, but if you want to get into it; for starters you're a minor without a parent or guardian, avoiding authorities, and performing acts of vigilantism on more than one occasion," The detective tapped the pages of the file. "This can all add up to charges against you. Which would be paid by your legal guardian-

"Except that's not possible and I have no intention of letting you set me up with one," Sakura folded her arms; her eyes hard, reflecting like real emeralds.

"That's just how the law works unless you have parents to contact?"

".…."

"Then you're going to have to be placed in foster care, and if you keep resisting you will be placed in what will be considered a more 'secure and safe environment' for you to adapt to your situation,"

A choked back laugh bounced against the walls, "Good luck with that,"

Sakura wasn't as bad as Naruto when it came to addressing individuals of authority. Which in most cases he didn't care to mind himself or his manners while she was respectful enough to hide her true opinions at times and perhaps overpraise her seniors. But experience with adults made her grow out of the habit and now she was more true to her opinion and wasn't afraid to share it. And the condescending manners of the adults in this world did not help placate her sharp tongue.

"We're wasting time," Standing up, Shouta looked at the mirror passed his reflection, "You should just come in already,"

The doors opened for the second time, and two silhouettes stood against the bright room. One much taller than the other, but only because the other was less than average-sized. The person wasn't even of average appearance; white fur, head round with black button eyes with a scar across one that showed no signs of impairment, in a black suit, tail swishing behind. A paw raised in greeting.

The other was a woman, middle-aged, ash blonde hair slicked back, wearing a neat suit and carried an indifferent expression.

Tsukauchi made the introductions, "Sakura Haruno, this is the president of the Hero Public Safety Commission and the principal of U.A. High, Nezu. They've come here to see you,"

The pinkette stared at the two new faces, sensing that her night was about to become even longer.

"It's nice to meet you Haruno," said Nezu.

"Sakura," She corrected.

The blonde woman addressed her with a clipped tone, "Haruno," Sakura sighed, stating she wanted to be called by her first name once again, but her request was denied, "Haruno, I'll be frank. What we currently understand about your situation is the following. You have no current record confirming your identity. You are without a parental guardian, despite being underage you are living by yourself and you refuse to be taken into foster care. This depiction of difficult behavior would usually result in your detainment and forced placement into a home. But you're clearly a flight risk and due to your circumstances, the commission has decided to take you into our care,"

That definitive statement made Sakura straighten her back in the seat, so she was closer to eye-level with the women. "What?"

"In turn, you will be applied for the hero course at U.A and take the exam. If you manage to pass you will attend U.A. as a student and hero in training,"

"And if I don't?"

The tension in the room was barring a difficult heat, though the source appeared cool. Sakura was like a bomb that's had its fuse lit and the spark trailing, about to go off.

"Then the commission will take responsibility for training you as a hero,"

Sakura stood up from her seat, going around it."You seem to misunderstand. I meant what happens if I don't want to train to become a hero because say….I think it's a waste of my time? And what if I don't allow you to take guardianship of me like I'm some kind of stray you picked up on the street?"

"You were found in the street," The commission's president reminded her, "And unless you are of legal age, we cannot allow you to keep on as you have. You need a legal guardian and an education. If you manage to get into the hero course at U.A. you will be provided with a new home and the commission will provide you with aid to cover expenses. But if you fail, you will be trained under our supervision,"

The tension did not lift as Sakura held herself high, "What the hell gives you the right to decide-

"If I may," Nezu cleared his throat, "Haruno. You've demonstrated a quirk that would be beneficial to society should you choose to exercise it as a hero. That combined with your recent activities shows that you have the potential to become a great hero. You saved people in need; you've got a lot of promise. We simply want to give you the opportunity for a bright future,"

"It would be a career-best suited to you with you quirk; you've already proven that,"

Before, it would have been a simple break through the wall to get outside instead of forcing her way through to the entrance and fighting off police officers, but now, she didn't want that. No, Sakura didn't want to just escape from the situation; she wanted to send the whole building crumbling to the ground.

Who were they to decide her future? Just because they assumed she had no one to turn to-which in the parameters of this world she didn't. Even so to force her to attend school for hero training just because they believe she has the potential? And then acting like she should be flattered for that. Expectations being thrust on her like they had the right to do so. Like they knew what was best for her.

'As if!' Sakura clenched her fist. It would have been easy to bring the building down and just leave; she could have given them each a chakra fist to their face and walk away without a care but then where would that leave her? They'd keep pursuing her and likely as a villain, she's figured that much out already. She didn't care for a normal life here, but she would rather not have to stay in the shadows if she could help it.

"Consider the benefits of this agreement," She was urged.

That's when Sakura thought; heroes were favored by society and their job descriptions may allow them access to sensitive information; and if she could somehow figure out how to get a hold of their resources, she might find something useful. It was a slim chance but anything to increase her odds were worth taking.

'Still,' Her nose scrunched with the thought of going back to school. It wasn't common to still be in school at her age; most kids were already working by twelve or finding masters who specialized in whichever profession they wanted to pursue and become apprentices. Though she understood this world had different values. That was just one of the issues.

Even so….

Sakura looked at the four and clicked her tongue hard, "Dammit"

"This is U.A?"

A neat wall surrounding the structure of the main building and school grounds. The main building formed a large H in the center of everything, fanning out were several other buildings, forest areas, and gardens, everything was too captivating to take in at once. If it wasn't for the sign fabricating that this was a school, Sakura never would have guessed it.

Sakura saw her breath in the crisp morning air, and lifted the scarf around her neck, drawing it close to her nose. With the cold weather, she ended up wearing her warmest outfit, a gray tracksuit

With her messy pink hair that had grown a considerate length mid-back, oversized clothes, and mismatched scarf, she was set her apart from the other applicants in prim and freshly ironed uniforms.

"Wow,"

"It is a sight isn't it?" Chiyo nodded. "Feeling a bit nervous?"

"No," Sakura was curt but honest. No matter where she looked, no one caught her attention or stood out.

"I know you're good, but you should remember not to underestimate the exam. Many capable students are vying for a place at U.A's hero course,"

"What a privilege it is for me then to be forced to take this course,"

"Now, now, you're only taking the exam for a chance to attend and you'll likely find it a challenge if you keep that up. U.A's hero course has a reputation for being one of the best, but it's also one of the hardest," Chiyo waved, "I need to get to the nurse's office, will you be alright?"

"Sure," She didn't need someone to escort her anyway, but she decided against turning away the women who bothered to appear at her doorstep that morning with breakfast. They were probably doubting that she would show up for the exam and wanted to make sure their doubts wouldn't be confirmed. So they sent Recover Girl to get her here.

Sakura found out that there were a lot of heroes that worked as teachers for U.A. and Shouta and Chiyo were two of those teachers.

"Then, I'll be off,"

"Yeah,"

It had only been two days since Sakura was given the proposition and despite receiving praise; there were some obvious doubts about her ability to pass. They thought she was like most children in this world. Either eager and unprepared or arrogant and unprepared. While hating that she would be attending school again; she still thought it a better option than staying under the commission's supervision. Though escape was still a warm dish on her table.

An employee from the Hero Public Safety Commission was sent to give her documents to fill out so that she would have official forms of identification. When she had to bring up her quirk; Sakura gave little description to it, just strength and healing which was insisted on by the commission's agent. After only a day she realized that if she was forced to train under the safety commission; she was likely going to lose more of her liberties and to avoid it; she would have to go into hiding.

'I'll just leave if it isn't worth it,'

She entered the building, following the signs to get to the exam hall. Nezu informed her that she needn't worry about the marks she receives for the written exam and that the practical was going to be the determining factor.

"Man I can't wait to get this written part over with,"

"Yeah, I know. The practicals are what will really count,"

'Damn, I'm probably going to get topics I've never heard about,' Sakura felt a familiar presence coming up behind her. She didn't even turn around, addressing the person about to put their hand on her shoulder.

"Hitoshi, how have you been?"

There was a moment of silence, followed by a surprised cough, "How do you do that?"

Grinning as she turned around, the pinkette stuck out her tongue, "You have a loud presence,"

There was a sliver of a smile on his face, "You didn't say you wanted to go to U.A. Are you applying to the hero course?"

"Yeah," Sakura scrunched her face like she had lemon juice on her tongue, "Let's just say it wasn't exactly my idea. But after the video, some people thought it would good for me to give it a try. So I'll probably be a student here,"

"You don't sound enthusiastic,"

"I liked being homeschooled," Sakura put her hands on her hips and circled Hitoshi so she was next to him while they walked to the exam room.

"You get to stay in your PJ's all day," Hitoshi gestured to her clothing.

"It's a tracksuit," She through her hood over her head but smiled when she heard the boy offer a rare laugh. Short but endearing.

"Well good luck, Hitoshi,"

"You too, Sakura."

The last time Sakura came close to a written exam was the first phase of the Chuunin exams that was one question but it certainly made a lot of people sweat. These exams were easy facts and information she had memorized, and application of what she had learned. When it came to the languages and application of the information you would only know if you were part of the education system in this world, she had to take her best guess or leave blank. English was especially severe.

'I think I understand a little how Naruto feels when it comes to written tests,' By the end of the exam, she was so drained, she didn't want to lift her head in the auditorium. It would have stayed that way but then the lights turned on with a giant screen on stage and a voice that just demanded attention.

"HEEEEEY EVERYBODY WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY LIVE SHOW," There was a brief pause of utters silence. The person taking center stage was a teacher of U.A. Hizashi; the hero Present Mic. He would be giving the students the briefing on the practical exam.

She looked to her right when she felt the person next to her squirming and heard his flustered muttering. A bit of a plain-looking boy, who's defining features was his dark curly hair touched with green, wide green eyes darker than her own and freckled covered cheeks that were blushing with excitement.

"It's the voice hero Present Mic, wow! I listen to him every week on the radio. I'm so moved! All the teachers at U.A are pro heroes!"

Sakura chuckled, catching his attention and when she saw his expression like he was a deer and she was the car about to run him over, she tried to put him at ease. "Sorry; you're just really gushing it's a little hard to ignore,"

"O-Oh, I-I uh-

He wasn't able to get out a full sentence, so she patted his back, "Take a breath, then talk,"

He took one, then replied in a quieter tone, "Sorry, habit,"

"No worries," Most heroes were glamorous, earned fame, and were thus treated like celebrities, gaining fans and followings. "Sounds like you know your heroes,"

"I guess you could say that….."

"I haven't heard about Present Mic before," Sakura confessed, trying to make the boy feel more at ease,

"Really? How can you not?"

Sakura chuckled, "I'm not that well informed about heroes here, to be honest,"

"Really? I can't get enough. By the way….." The boy was looking closer at her now, "…um, I feel like I've seen you somewhere,"

With a dry laugh, she responded, "I get that a lot,"

"Shut up already," The boy next to him spoke with a harsh tone. Sakura glanced over to him. Ash-blonde hair standing out in all directions wild, suited to his expression, and glaring ruby eyes. And though it was presumptuous of her, she thought his severe look likely matched his personality.

"What's your problem?"

He glared back at her, "You're too fucking noisy damn Fivehead,"

A visible vein appeared on her so-called 'fivehead'; "You-

"Kacchan, don't-

"Shut up nerd!"

"NOW PAY CLOSE ATTENTION LISTENERS,"

Present Mic's voice carried through the auditorium, diverting their attention, "As it says in the application requirements you will be conducting ten minutes. You can bring whatever you want with you. After the presentation, you'll head to your specified battle stations!"

The screen behind for the presentation showed a diagram, spanning out from A to G which were the stations. Sakura's exam card.

'Station F,'

Apparently, the stations were set so that students from the same schools would be separated and couldn't help one another. Which she learned from listening to the two boys next to her who were from the same school. But she was realizing she was probably right about the ash-blonde when he ordered the dark-haired boy to stop looking at his card.

'Jerk,' Sakura huffed softly looking back at the screen.

"Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty. Your goal is to use your quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains,"

That was it? Sakura saw the example on the screen of an avatar of Present Mic moving through the pixel city, destroying the faux villains which were just robots.

"Of course attacking other examinees and any other un-heroic actions are prohibited,"

"In other words, the entrance exam's just having us fight those?" Sakura said out loud,

"Y-Yeah, a mock battle…." Sakura heard the uncertainty in the boy's voice. She was worried about Hitoshi though. This type of test wouldn't allow him to showcase his quirk. If he wanted to pass, he was going to have to figure out a way to immobilize the faux villains without his power. But people here were really reliant on their quirks. Especially heroes; so aspiring heroes probably weren't any different.

'Damn,' They had been seated in different parts of the auditorium, so she didn't see him since before the written exam. 'It makes sense I guess given the level everyone's on right now. The hero course is supposed to start training them, at this age,'

For her, however, this type of test wasn't anything to worry about.

Someone in the crowd stood up, sitting a few rows below Sakura, "Excuse me, I have a question," A spotlight shone on him as he was allowed to speak, he pointed to the print out sheet they received about the robots. "On the printout, there are four types of villains, not three. If that's a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan should be ashamed for that foolish mistake. The reason we are seated here today is because we seek guidance on the path to becoming model heroes!"

'Wow,' There truly was a range here. The boy then turned around facing Sakura's row and she knew he was glaring in the general direction she was seated. He was tall for his age, with navy blue hair neatly combed, bottom shaved, his eyes were square and colored blue under thick glasses with pointed eyebrows.

"Moreover what's with the two of you!? Yes, the ones with the curly hair and pink hair! You've been muttering and chatting the whole time, it's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip you should leave immediately!"

The curly-haired boy covered his mouth, muttering a timid sorry as the auditorium filled with snickers. While Sakura; already forced to take the exam, on edge had practically sprung from her seat, "Hey! Last time I checked other applicants don't get to decide who goes or stays for the exam, so shut up!"

"Aren't you the one showing disrespect for this institution by coming here dressed like that before the practical?"

"What I wear for the exams isn't this school's or your business!" Sakura seethed, "It's not like it'll affect by results jackass!"

"Why I'd-

Hizashi quickly interrupted, before a fight broke out "Okay kiddos settle down now, and let's get this show on the road. About your question of the fourth type of villain; that is worth zero points. It's an obstacle so that will go crazy in narrow spaces, it's not impossible to defeat but there's no reason to defeat it either. I recommend you try to avoid it. That's all from me. I'll leave you all with a present-our school motto. The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said, 'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes'…..Go beyond PLUS ULTRA!"

The campus was big but the magnitude was only understood when students had to take a bus to get them to their designated battle stations. An imposing gate stood waiting to open into a city, it was awe-striking how there were several of these on the school's campus. Sakura didn't take too much time to admire it, however. After the spectacle in the auditorium, she was impatient to get the practical done and leave as soon as she could.

"Do you see that girl?"

"Yeah, that big mouth in the lecture hall?"

There were still some snickers directed at her but that was just dousing the sympathy she had left for the applicants who were looking forward to attending this school.

'At least getting to smash faux villains, will help me vent my frustrations,'

A smile spread across her face as the gates began to open signaling that the exam had officially begun.

With camera's in place all over campus, along with robots and drones that fed footage to the servers, monitoring all applicants was an easy feat from each battle station. The faculty members of U.A. were seated to observe the monitors.

"Look it's time to start!" Nemuri Kayama also known as the r-rated hero Midnight squealed, licking her lips, her choppy purple hair bouncing with her. Sky blue eyes lit with excitement that made many of her foes and some allies flinch and shiver. "I love watching these youth's go at it,"

She heard a familiar sigh with excessive air released due to a mask, "Don't get riled up so soon. You need to stay focused while judging these kids," said the gun hero Snipe.

"Indeed," added Ken Ishiyama, also known as Cementoss.

"Though I do see the kid from that sludge villain incident, in battle center A," All eyes turned to the screen Ecotoplasm mentioned, watching the ash blonde.

"Oh yeah, I remember that incident. You saved him…..All Might,"

Said man gave a heavy cough, "Yes,"

Nemuri turned to Shouta seated beside her, "You know, I heard that we're keeping a special eye out for one of the candidates. Someone you saved?"

He huffed in response, "We're not doing anything of the sort, this exam is just like every year. We judge all the students without bias,"

Nezu then pointed to one of the screens, "It's the pink-haired girl with the mark on her forehead,"

"Isn't she the one who beat the villain Vihara Headgear?" asked Higari Maijima; the hero Power Loader. "We've got an interesting bunch this year,"

"How 'interesting' they are or what they do outside of this school doesn't matter," stated Shouta, folding his arms. The students were all readying to enter their battle centers, "What matters is what they do within these next ten minutes,"

"Well, here they go," pointed Chiyo. She was going to need to keep a lookout for students who were injured during this exam.

There was no countdown for when the exam started, only the gates opening allowing them in. And it was in that instant that much attention was drawn to station F. Watching the pink-haired girl rushing passed all of the students in a blur. Sometimes going too fast for their eyes to keep up. The first villain bot appeared in front of her, a one-pointer. It was clear, she wasn't fazed, delivering a quick punch that sent the one-point robot into a three-point.

"Wow, that's some combat ability!" exclaimed Nemuri, clapping her hands together. Another five robots quickly became scrap metal, with the girl landing one hit on each, jumping off of them like she was skipping.

"It's far from over," stated Shouta. Although he was watching carefully and the girl wasn't slowing down. Despite destroying the robots and moving around easily through the city quicker than any of the other applicants in that battle station. Using the robots to take the others out in her path, using only one simplistic attack, either a punch or kick. And that in turn was racking her points quicker. She kept her movement to her minimum, not overexerting her energy like other applicants.

It was usually expected since students at this stage didn't have that much experience with their quirks or fighting. Prioritizing flashiness over precision and practicality.

'Well, we'll see what she does when the real test starts,'

Without knowing what the passing grade would be, Sakura didn't want to let any potential target escape her. She just had to keep to the basics and that was proving to be enough; at the level of difficulty, this practical was at. She just had to move fast enough to beat the other applicants to the punch.

A swift kept sent a three-point villain crashing into a duo of two-point robots. Metal clanked as they crashed into the pavement, the smell of smoke and fire in the air from the tiny explosions of breaking circuits let her know that they were immobilized.

'At the very least this is cathartic,'

The robots didn't even seem to have any offensive ability, or at least she didn't give them a chance to show it off since she destroyed them once in her sights. The other students were running around struggling to find robots that hadn't been destroyed by her already and by now they were just attempting to avoid her.

Time felt prolonged, and they were only getting short intervals where they would be informed of the minutes remaining. It was just the same, destroying robots in one area, then moving onto the next. When there was little more than three minutes left, that's when the ground started jumping without the decency to give a tremor of warning.

Sakura wasn't close but she knew that the source was close. The ground was moving, and the noise

was like thunder only worse because the vibrations are coming from below. She couldn't follow sounds very well, but as she grew closer so did the screams of the desperate trying to escape an unwanted disaster.

"AAAAAHHH"

Rubble from broken buildings and the cracked roads had kicked up debris and dust clouds, but she saw everyone running towards her like a stampede being chased by a predator. She could see the robot, with a body matching the buildings and a head towering them.

'This is what I call excessive, even for an obstacle,' It wasn't worth any points so naturally, no one would attempt to take it down. Though it would serve a distraction from earning points and direct applicants towards protecting their lives rather than completing the practical. Everyone moved like a switch for survival had been turned on; that which all-consuming fear creates.

She didn't flinch; because one thing she was certain of, was this school wouldn't offer a test that had a high chance of ending an applicant's life.

The overwhelming fear that every applicant was experiencing, did one of two things, either pushed you to run in the opposite direction or take to the point where your mobility was deterred. Three applicants seemed incapable of running, one had clearly attempted but perhaps while avoiding debris, he had fallen unconscious, either way, he wasn't moving. A girl on the opposite side of the road had bee running but tripped and was trying to crawl away but it looked like her ankle was swollen, and another boy who was the closest to the robot was just starring at it with legs that could do nothing but tremble.

'Okay then, time to play hardball,' She cracked her knuckles, punching her hand.

There was nothing like an unnatural disaster to see what these applicants were really made of - heroes or cowards?

"Now things get interesting," said Snipe.

"It doesn't look like we've got anyone jumping in for station F and B. Might want to halt that Executor soon," suggested Nemuri

The zero-point robot wasn't there for show and it wasn't an obstacle to just to avoid but for the teachers to evaluate and find out who had it in them to become heroes. Those who could prove that they could stand and protect others despite their fear were the ones that would obtain points that they were not brief about, to discover who was truly genuine.

"Hey look in for center B!" exclaimed Power Loader.

There on the screen, a boy who hadn't received a single point cried since the beginning of the test, trembled with fear at the sights of even a one-pointer, and quickly assumed to be the least likely to pass had just jumped into the air towards the robot meeting its head and landing a punch strong enough to immobilize. All to save a girl who had been trapped by the debris.

"We've got another live one here at center F!"

Sakura knew that she wouldn't be getting any points for this, and she wasn't aware of the exams other test methods, but it didn't matter. She just rushed forward, leaping from the top of the building's rooftops nearing the humungous robot. It wasn't showing signs of stopping and if it continued on its path, it wouldn't bode well for the three applicants stuck in the front.

Chakra collected in her fist, molded as she ran closer, the head of the robot slightly turned in her direction. Just as she wanted. Then she took a massive spring into the air so that she was above the machine. The air thin from the high altitude didn't bother her, her clothes quivered as she fell, and her hair whipped across her face reminding her to cut it, yet her body kept its composure like gravity wasn't an enemy here. The head turning upwards with her.

"SHANNARO!" Her fist was small, but her impact was big. The robots head creaked, metal bits flew off of it, smoke and fire gathered in its joints to explode as it fell backward like one of the many opponents she had knocked unconscious.

'That's what I'm talking about!' She fist pumped into the air, striking a pose before she continued to near the ground. She skipped across the metal pieces falling with her to reach the bottom faster. In the process of her awestruck spectators, she sprung from the front of the building, grabbed the boy that had been frozen, then the other two injured applicants to get away from the shower of metal and debris coming off the destroyed buildings.

Two under her arms, one over her shoulder, she ran until rounding the corner of that street to put them all down to rest against the wall of the building on the end of the road.

"T-That was incredible,"

"I can't believe you blew it away with one punch like that,"

Sakura didn't show any appreciation for the praise, her eyes narrowing on their injuries. She examined the girl's injuries, sprained ankle along with some bruising to her face for the fall she took and the boy had a dislocated wrist, the other was shaken but no physical injuries at least.

"Hold still," Placing her hand over the girl's ankle, she began to heal the area. The swelling went down at the pain subsided. Sakura healed her face shortly afterward which didn't take as long as the ankle.

"The exam….

"Don't worry about that," Sakura understood that there was less than a minute left, but she had spent most of the ten minutes destroying robots that at this point, it wasn't going to be enjoyable. It felt even better to be able to put her medical training to use.

"Try to stand up," the girl stood, shaking her foot slightly.

"Thank you…."

Sakura then went to the boy, "Okay you've just got a dislocated wrist. I'm going to put it back into position. It's going to hurt but just bear with it,"

"What!?"

She had already taken his wrist, "Don't worry, it's only for a second. I'm going to count to three. One-two-

"AHH"

There was no three, as Sakura twisted her wrist and a soft shriek left him, but as soon as she was certain everything was in order, Sakura proceeded to use her medical jutsu to soothe the wound and help it heal. Afterward, as a precaution, she wrapped up his wrist.

The applicants thanked her but by the time she was done, an alarm had sounded and the clock had run out.

Not that it mattered.
