SPIN OFF CHAPTER:Movie Two heroes part 3

Greetings and happy holidays to all! I come with well wishes and new chapters to bring joy to 2023 and take you into 2024. Hope you enjoy!

Lately, Izuku's life has been a rollercoaster of surprises. The hero he admired from his years as a child All Might, had been losing his power and was searching for a successor to pass his qurik to until he met Izuku. That led to a series of events that unraveled more secrets and hidden truths about the hero world that Izuku thought was possible. Then came the acceptance into U.A., the top school for heroes in Japan.

However, the surprises didn't cease when he was invited to go with Toshinori to I-island. Toshinori's old friend David Shield, a renowned scientist, was the primary reason for their visit, though it had been orchestrated as a surprise by David's daughter, Mellissa. She was the first to greet Izuku and Toshinori upon their arrival.

After they met with David, Mellissa took Izuku on a tour of the island, and it was there that the surprises continued. As they wandered through the island's attractions, Izuku bumped into familiar faces: Ochako, Momo, and Jiro, his classmates from U.A. High. It was a delightful shock to see them in this unexpected place.

As they all gathered at a restaurant, Denki and Minoru joined the group, and Izuku's surprise deepened. However, the biggest shock of all was seeing Sakura, his class representative, and Hitoshi Shinso, a student from the General Studies department, sitting together.

"I can't believe there are so many of us here," Ochako remarked, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Neither can I,"

Sakura, her gaze fixed on her drink, stirred it pensively. They had all moved tables close to each other so they could engage in conversation together.

Izuku smiled at Hitoshi, trying to engage him, "Shinso, how do you like the island? Did you go to the exhibits?"

Hitoshi nodded, keeping his calm demeanour "Yeah, we saw a few,"

Sakura raised an eyebrow at Hitoshi, he had turned a bit stoney when her classmates arrived, and admittedly she had as well. They were genuinely good individuals, but they were in such contrast with the people Sakura was used to being around. She didn't realize just how different until she spent more time with her class.

Her standard and perspective of normal was shifted and her classmates were thorough reminders of this different world she was in. Another version of earth. At times it made things difficult for her.

Hitoshi was a bit different in that standing. He didn't constantly remind Sakura that she was in another world, even though his ambitions correlated with her classmates.

Denki, ever curious, glanced between Sakura and Hitoshi, a hint of skepticism in his expression. "Since when were you guys friends?"

Sakura shot him a stern look, a clear message that it was none of his business. Ochako chimed in, "I've seen them sitting together a few times in the cafeteria."

"So have I," added Momo, supporting Ochako's observation.

Before the conversation could delve any further, another classmate, Tenya Iida, sped over to join them. Izuku was the first to greet him with enthusiasm. "Iida, you're here too!?"

Iida nodded a serious tone in his voice. "Indeed, I'm here representing my family."

Momo added, "My family are also a sponsor of the event."

Sakura sighed, casting an apologetic look at Hitoshi. She hoped he understood that she had no prior knowledge that her classmates would be there.

Just when everything seemed to be settling into a pleasant reunion, an explosion rocked the island in the distance. The unexpected sound shattered the air, filling it with tension and uncertainty.

..

..

..

"You've got to be kidding me," Sakura muttered under her breath, her eyes fixed on the chaos unfolding before them. Hitoshi, who had been observing the pit that had been transformed into a mountain range simulation, turned his attention away.

They stood in a massive stadium surrounding the simulation area, smoke billowing from the pit. High above them, on enormous screens, they could witness more of the pandemonium. It was here, amidst the commotion, that they stumbled upon two more of their classmates: Katsuki and Eijiro.

The challenge they were currently witnessing involved participants taking down a set number of robots within a limited timeframe. Eijiro had managed to secure the eighth position with a time of 33 seconds, while Katsuki, as expected, had clinched the top spot with a mere 15 seconds.

Sakura couldn't help but be amazed. "You sure your class didn't make some sort of pact to meet up here?"

Eijiro was the first to spot their arrival. He excitedly pointed it out to Katsuki, who reacted exactly as one would anticipate from the explosive young hero.

Katsuki leaped onto the stadium's railings, getting right into Izuku's face, demanding an explanation for their presence. Sakura remembered that she had given Eijiro two tickets, thinking he and Katsuki might make good travel companions.

"Why don't you just board the plane with a bomb," she muttered, walking over to Izuku and Katsuki, attempting to de-escalate the situation. The growing crowd's attention was now firmly fixed on the group of teenagers, and the embarrassment was palpable.

"You're always barking, huh, Katsuki?" Sakura couldn't resist tossing an insult to divert the blonde's attention. Katsuki's tolerance for her was nearly as low as it was for Izuku, given that Sakura had a talent for getting under his skin during their time at U.A.

"What the hell are you doing here, Fivehead!?" Katsuki snapped back.

"Apparently, a lot of us are here," Sakura replied calmly, only serving to further rile up Katsuki. She glanced over at the arena where Eijiro was competing.

"Didn't think you were going to bring the pomeranian as your plus one, Eijiro," she remarked, raising an eyebrow.

"What did you just call me!?" Katsuki bellowed, his rage growing.

Hitoshi, ever the voice of reason, sighed. "You're so loud, Katsuki."

Katsuki glared at the General Studies student. "What the hell did you just say, Eyebags!? Why are you even here!?"

"Why don't you tone it down a notch?" Sakura suggested, and Tenya, attempting to mediate, joined in as well, fulfilling his role as the class representative. While the girls explained to Mellissa some of the complex dynamics within their class and their rather tumultuous relationship with Katsuki, Eijiro, paying little mind to the chaos, called out to them.

"Are you guys thinking of giving this challenge a shot too?"

Katsuki couldn't resist the opportunity to boast. "Ha! Go ahead and try! I'll crush you!"

"But you've already had your turn," Hitoshi pointed out.

"Don't try to make sense of him," Sakura added with a sigh. "You'll give yourself a headache."

..

..

..

Izuku Midoriya couldn't resist the allure of the challenge. His innate desire to push his limits and witness even the smallest of improvements in his abilities drove him. Although he still lacked the strength and confidence to harness the full potential of his quirk, One for All, recent training with Gran Torino had allowed him to attain better control. With a fraction of its power, about 5%, he surged it throughout his body, feeling it strengthen him. It might not have been much, but it was sufficient to decimate the robots in just 16 seconds.

Hitoshi observed Izuku's movements closely as he nimbly navigated through the air, leaping and dodging. "He's gotten stronger," he remarked with a hint of admiration.

Sakura, standing beside Hitoshi, didn't seem particularly surprised. "Improvement is natural when you train," she replied casually. She had already witnessed some of Izuku's growth during their encounter with the Hero Killer.

Hitoshi couldn't help but express his perspective, a perspective molded by his own experiences in a world where quirks were considered pivotal.

"Not if it were me," he mumbled, his gaze still fixed on Izuku. In this world, people treat their quirks as a defining factor in life—either an advantage or a limitation, depending on their aspirations. Most aimed for the pinnacle, and in this world, heroes occupied that lofty position.

Meanwhile, Izuku chatted amiably with Ochako and Tenya, who congratulated him on coming so close to claiming the top spot. Katsuki, however, wasn't pleased that his reign was nearly toppled in a matter of seconds.

Hitoshi couldn't help but voice his observation, his tone tinged with curiosity. "Is your class always like this?"

Sakura grinned wryly. "Yup," she confirmed as if this level of intensity was perfectly normal.

Just as the conversation settled into an oddly familiar rhythm of banter and competition, a thunderous rumble echoed through the area. The air turned chilly and crisp, and a layer of ice quickly spread across half of the arena. Down below, at the epicenter of the frozen chaos, stood Shoto Todoroki.

At this point, it was hardly a surprise to anyone. Unfortunately, this ended on a note where Izuku, Eijiro, and Tenya were trying to restrain Katsuki who seemed to have been pushed off the edge after Shouto appeared.

Hitoshi stared at the big screen that was blowing up Katsuki's angry face and turned to Sakura, "Should we go?"

"Yes please,"

..

The day had passed swiftly, and almost half of Class A had made their way to I-Island. With such a sizable group now present, they decided it would be a fantastic idea to attend the gala together that evening. Sakura didn't oppose the idea. In fact, she welcomed it because Melissa had confirmed her attendance as well. Being the daughter of one of the island's prominent scientists, Sakura hoped to pick her brain and gain valuable insights. Melissa likely had connections with other scientists and an understanding of their research, given her academic pursuits.

Before they could think about the gala, Sakura and Hitoshi needed to return to their hotel room to prepare. They barely had half an hour to themselves before a few hotel employees ambushed them, whisking them off to the salon for a series of appointments that neither of them had scheduled.

Sakura couldn't help but feel that this was an ambush. She questioned the employees about it, demanding to know who had arranged these appointments in advance.

"Hawks!" she muttered under her breath, her frustration evident. She swore she would get him back for this, she didn't know how and she didn't know when but she was going to make him pay for this.

..

..

..

Izuku discreetly tugged at his sleeve, trying to hide the red metal gauntlet around his wrist. This device was a gift from Mellissa, a creation she had tailored to complement his quirk. It allowed Izuku to channel the full force of One for All. While it was a remarkable piece of technology, he hadn't quite figured out how to remove it. So, for the gala, he wore it beneath his suit. Despite the gleaming exterior of the gauntlet, it wasn't particularly formal wear.

When he arrived, Tenya was the one who called him out for being late, although he wasn't the last to arrive. Shouto, Tenya, Denki, and Minoru had already assembled, and after Izuku, Ochako, Momo, Jiro, and Mellissa joined the group. They all looked stunning, adorned in cute and formal dresses.

Izuku couldn't help but wonder about Sakura's absence. "Where's Sakura?" he asked, concern etching his features.

Tenya, in his typical fashion, was agitated. He threw his hand down in a chopping manner through the air. "I've been calling her, but she hasn't answered."

The elevator went off again signaling Sakura and Hitoshi arrived, surprising everyone with their immaculate appearance. Hitoshi had neatly slicked-back hair, as though he'd had a recent trim, his eyes were missing those dark lines perhaps due to some cream.

Sakura was in makeup with wavy hair made her look elegant. Her dress had a more mature style compared to the other girls. Black, sleeveless, fitting with a long skirt and slit. Sakura couldn't help but seethe a little, cursing Hawks for arranging this attire for her. It seemed as though he'd chosen something he knew wouldn't align with her preferences.

"No one says a word," Sakura warned. Looking pointedly at anyone who was ready to comment on the outfit.

"Yes Your Highness," Hitoshi had been teasing her since he saw her. Having seen Sakura's preference outside of school, he knew this was far from it. He also wanted a little bit of revenge for getting stuck in that salon chair while people poked and prodded at him with brushes. Even though Sakura wasn't actually responsible for arranging this.

"Yo-You look good Sakura!" Izuku blurted.

"What I just-

"Great, we're all here," Tenya announced, eager to proceed into the gala. "Let's get going."

But just as they were about to move towards the entrance, a sudden alarm began blaring throughout the building, leaving them all puzzled.

"What is that?" Izuku questioned, his worry deepening.

Metal shutters were closing on the windows, as red lights flashed. "We have received a report from the security system that an explosive device was placed in the I-Expo area. I-Island will now be on high alert mode. In addition, most of the main buildings will be sealed off by the security system."

Jiro went to check the elevator only to find that she wasn't able to access it. Every exit in the building was sealed off, and they weren't even able to use their cell phones as all signals were lost. This was causing tension to rise quickly.

Mellissa looked skeptical, "I don't believe the security system would activate because of an explosive."

"Let's go to where the party is being held. All Might is also there," suggested Izuku.

"If we use the emergency stairs we might get close to the party," Mellissa pointed to a pair of doors that didn't appear sealed off by the system.

..

..

..

Mellissa led them through the labyrinthine emergency stairs, ascending to the gala's upper level. As they emerged, an expansive open space stretched before them. They instinctively turned their gaze downward, half expecting to find a confused and disoriented crowd of guests and heroes. What they beheld, however, was far graver.

Heroes, paragons of strength, were ensnared in high-tech restraints, their abilities nullified, reducing them to mere hostages at the mercy of these masked villains. Alongside them, the ordinary high-profile guests were being herded like livestock at gunpoint.

Among the throng, was a tall man with an iron mask over his face, orchestrating the chaos with the authority of a ringmaster. Although Sakura and the group weren't able to make out what he was saying from the distance they were watching from. But at some point, he was engaging in hostile conversation with Mellissa's father David, and his assistant. The reason behind this bizarre selection remained shrouded in mystery.

The towering dome enclosing them filtered the sounds from below, but Kyoka had already put her quirk to good use, eavesdropping, and Izuku signaled to All Might to debrief them on the situation. That's right. Amidst this unfolding calamity stood Toshinori, once the symbol of peace and now powerless, confined to the stage. In this desperate moment, Izuku drew his phone and captured Toshinori's attention with a blinding flash. It was a subtle signal, a silent plea, for the elder hero to elucidate the situation.

Toshinori's message conveyed a grim reality. The tower had fallen under the control of a group of villains who had taken over the security system and were now holding the entire island hostage. He implored his students to flee this looming catastrophe as swiftly as possible.

..

..

..

Back in the shadowy refuge of the emergency stairwell, a debate took form. Tenya, always the embodiment of prudence, urged the group to heed All Might's instructions and escape. He was keenly aware of their status as students, without the licenses that legitimized their heroic interventions.

"We have to follow All Might's instructions and escape,"

"I agree with Iida," said Momo, her wise and measured voice a steady presence, supporting Tenya's stance. "As students, we lack the authority to engage in combat without hero licenses."

Sakura's crossed arms conveyed her dissent, her gaze resolute as she leaned against the cool, unyielding wall. "While I don't think we should go rushing into that gala, I'm not going to just leave,"

Of course, Sakura expected some backlash from her statement, it had been like this since her arrival to U.A. and she knew their standpoint on these types of matters. To obey and follow the rules often leads to conflicting engagements for Sakura and this time was no different.

Tenya vehemently opposed Sakura's unwavering stance, joining Momo in rejecting her viewpoint. "Haruno! You can't actively look for a fight with villains!"

"I'm hardly looking," She bit back. It wasn't as if she wanted to fight at every chance but this situation itself wasn't under regular circumstances either.

Denki, striving to mediate, suggested a cautious escape and the attempt to contact other licensed heroes. Mellissa, however, quashed this notion, likening the fortress-like security surrounding them to Tartarus, the infamous villain prison. The grim reality was that even if they managed to escape, they couldn't guarantee timely outside intervention anyway.

"Besides, we're already inside," Sakura remarked with a blend of pragmatism and determination. "We can't just walk away from this,"

Shota, arms crossed and stern in his stance, aligned himself with Sakura's perspective. "I'm with Sakura on this. We are trying to be heroes."

"Todoroki," Momo murmured.

"Hello!" Minoru interjected, flaying his arms around. "Do you realize those villains caught All Might? What can we do against that!?"

Sakura's patience wore thin."All Might's not the only one being held hostage," Sakura said, "Even if he broke free the villains have a room full of captured heroes and hostages that can be leveraged against him. He can't do anything rash in his position and they're probably going to keep a close eye on him. But they haven't noticed us yet,"

"We still aren't allowed to work as heroes-

"Since when does doing the right thing require a license?" Sakura said. She was growing annoyed with her classmate's excuse, no matter how rational it might have been according to the rules. "You think it'll be fine if those villains decide to kill the hostages and we sit back and do nothing?

Momo's eyes widened, rendered momentarily speechless, and the atmosphere grew taut with silence. Yet, it was Izuku, whose typical shyness was eclipsed by newfound resolve, who eventually broke the tension.

"I want to save them," he declared, his voice brimming with determination that outshone anyone else's.

Minoru's flustered response, arms flailing in animated exasperation, "You want to fight the villains!? Haven't you learned anything from the USJ!?"

Undeterred, Izuku elaborated on his intentions. He desired to devise a plan that could rescue the heroes without resorting to direct combat, challenging the group to think of alternative solutions.

Sakura contemplated the situation, her arms still folded and posed a question. "What's keeping the heroes restrained? If we can free them simultaneously, they might have a chance against the villains."

Mellissa, a glimmer of hope in her eyes, suggested the villains' unfamiliarity with I-Island's security system. If they could reach the tower's summit and regain control of the system, it might turn the tide.

"But the villains are waiting on the top floor…." Momo said.

"There's no need to fight!" exclaimed Izuku, "Once we get the system back, then everyone will be released. When that happens the tables will be turned!"

Eagerly, Ochako joined in, her voice resonating with a newfound resolve. "Let's do it!"

Sakura cast a thoughtful gaze in Hitoshi's direction. He was a student from the general studies program who had only recently started his hero training under Shouta's guidance. He hadn't uttered a word yet, but Sakura could sense his unease about the dire circumstances.

"What do you say?" she asked, her voice calm but tinged with urgency.

Hitoshi met her eyes, his own gaze revealing the internal struggle he grappled with. "I didn't expect to be thrown into something like this, but I'm in. It's oddly reassuring to see how rattled the hero studies students are."

Minoru vehemently protested, "This is insane! You're all out of your minds."

Sakura maintained her composure. "Then stay here and hope the villains don't find you. There are no guarantees that we can avoid a confrontation on our way to the security system, but we'll try. This isn't a training simulation; this is a real crisis."

Tenya, ever the cautious voice of reason, expressed his skepticism. "I'll decide to turn back if I believe there's no more we can do."

Sakura's smirk revealed her determination, and her words resonated with a haunting gravity. "You have a long way to go if you're still thinking that way, Iida."

Panic flickered in Tenya's eyes, his tongue turning to sand as he struggled to respond. Sakura's unwavering resolve made her point clear: in the face of this dire situation, she would only stop when death stood as the sole barrier.

"At the rate we're going, we'll reach the top by morning," panted Hitoshi.

"I sincerely thought you would have better endurance than this. You're smearing your makeup."

"Shut up," Hitoshi responded, loosening and discarding his tie.

Sakura glanced back at the group, noting that Izuku and Shouto weren't too far behind — perhaps pridefully keeping pace with her. Her attention then shifted to Mellissa, who trailed at the rear.

She approached Mellissa, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, "You doing okay?"

"I'll be fine, don't worry," Mellissa replied, panting softly.

Sakura turned around, swiftly pulling Mellissa onto her back. The sudden move elicited a surprised squeal from Mellissa, who clung to Sakura.

"No, no! You should save your power for when we really need it," Mellissa protested.

"We might not even be fighting, but we need you in good condition to disable this system. If you're behind us, we might be too late to move," Sakura explained matter-of-factly. "You're the priority to protect."

Ochaco and Tenya expressed concern about Sakura's well-being, with Tenya pointing out her discomfort in heels.

"I can handle a lot more than this," Sakura retorted, setting off at her usual pace, and leading the group again. "Keep up."
