Chapter 50 - Malice - Humans

Skalain stepped cautiously through the hidden road, his senses heightened with anticipation. The Dark Archive Temple loomed before him, its ancient stones whispering secrets of forgotten knowledge.

"Yeah, this place is really different from other places. I can feel it."

Skalain commented as he entered the temple about the way he got out the first time he was awake.

With each step, Skalain inspected the surroundings with meticulous precision. The air felt heavy, laden with the weight of centuries-old knowledge.

The flickering torches cast eerie shadows on the walls, revealing inscriptions that seemed to come alive in the dim light. Skalain's eyes traced the ancient markings, his mind racing to decipher their meaning.

"Now that I have mastery of language, I can learn many things from these texts on the walls. Before that, I did not have any chance to understand any of these things."

Moving through the grand hall, Skalain's gaze shifted to the doorways leading to the temple's inner chambers. Ten rooms awaited him.

"Yeah, this place is bigger than I thought it was."

Skalain commented as he started entering the rooms. He has already found ten rooms that he can search for.

The first room he entered was vast, its size surpassing one hundred square meters. Stone beds and tables stood solemnly against the walls, their surfaces covered in a thin layer of dust. Skalain couldn't help but wonder who had once rested here and what purpose these chambers had served in the temple's ancient past.

As he moved from room to room, Skalain found himself surrounded by an overwhelming collection of parchments. He longed to delve into their contents.

"Right now, it is not the best time to get lost in the sea of knowledge. It is best for me to just keep on searching for everything."

Skalain's mind raced with the possibilities held within the temple's walls. But he knew that for the time being, these things were not that important, and he needed to have a basic understanding of the temple itself.

Hours turned into days as Skalain meticulously combed through each room, his eyes scanning every inch of the inscriptions adorning the walls. The words seemed to dance before him, cryptic yet tantalizing in their essence. The language was ancient, a testament to the temple's age and the knowledge it safeguarded.

In the quiet solitude of the temple, Skalain couldn't help but utter soft comments to himself, reflecting on the magnitude of his discoveries. "These inscriptions hold a power and wisdom that have been lost to time," he whispered, his voice barely audible against the hallowed walls.

Skalain's heart yearned to seize every piece of knowledge within his grasp, to consume the wisdom held within the parchments and inscriptions. But duty called, urging him to focus on his mission.

With a heavy sigh, Skalain exited the Dark Archive Temple.

"There are many things to do."

Skalain started thinking about his past life as the air of the temple reminded him of the time that he opened his eyes in this place for the first time in his life.

"How good would it be if people just treated me right back then?"

Skalain could not help but remember his childhood and the time when he was a teen as well as a young man, opening his eyes to the world of understanding society.

Back then, he had nothing; he was not going to have anything, as it seemed. It was a painful experience for him to understand these things, but it was not the best one.

"These things are not going to be forgotten, and all humans will pay for their existing nature."

Skalain thought as he let out a cold breath. His eyes were burning with the evil and the malice towards his own race, the time, the back, and all those things that happened to him.
