The Slide

"It's important to stay far away from mice," said the elephant mother with a serious expression. "They are all demons, capable of sneaking into your nose and feeding on your soul."

The young elephant nodded in innocence and continued to run off to play.

Suddenly, it noticed a small hole in the center of the grass, a perfect fit for its trunk. Curiously, the little elephant walked over and stuck its trunk inside.

In an instant, a dark shadow darted into its nose.

It was a mouse, and the young elephant recalled its mother's warning, leaving its mind blank with despair. It sat down on the ground, tears dripping down.

After a while, the shadow shot out from its nose.

"Yippee!" the little mouse exclaimed excitedly, "They were right! This is the world's greatest slide!"
