Thada’s Warning (1) Part III

“Aw, your eyes look so soft when you look at him, Miss Maysa.” The name's owner flinched a little when she heard the other teasing. She let go of Wisana’s cheek right away like it was burning her fingers.

“I ...it’s nothing, just he looks kind of cute when he sleeps.”

“Really?” Waree drawled to tease her, her green eyes sparkling playfully.

“Yes! There's nothing special going on between me and him more than just game buddies!” The more Maysa was trying to defend herself, the more Waree’s grin got wider.

“I didn’t say anything. Why are you being this flustered?”

“I’m not...!” This was the first time in many years that Maysa lost in an argument with someone. So, she just turned away, making it harder for the other one to hold in laughter. After that, Waree leaned closer for another tease.

“Do you really not have any special feelings for my brother?”

“No!”
