Thada’s Warning (2) Part II

“I would. I'm the one who destroyed the formula.” His deadpan answer got Maysa stunned.

“For what?”

“To maintain the balance of the server,” Thada said clearly. “These items are dangerous. They are too powerful, which might cause the game to lose balance. So, I have to downsize the players who would be able to use them, as least as I can. It means that the owners of these weapons are the ones who got selected by their skills, too. Because, if anyone can just buy anything they want, the game will be half less fun, don’t you think so?”

The girls nodded in understanding in the explanation. And yes, that was how the game used to be. If a player was rich enough, they would be able to buy a good weapon formula for themselves right away. That was why the poorer players would have a disadvantage on the items.

“That’s why I had to destroy many of the S ranked items down, to maintain the balance.”
