Quid Pro Quo Part VI

“I can’t do that.”

The old man shook his head slightly, making everyone even quieter.

“This mess’s been going out of hand now, and this is the only way to end it without causing anyone trouble, Miss. I have to take responsibility for what my grandson did as well. So, I'd like it to be over this way.”

He said, ruffing his grandson’s hair softly like he was comforting the man. Wisana was speechless and all he could do was grudgingly nod in agreement.

“Go, Berm, go get the stone. You know where it is, don’t you? Since you’re the one who takes care of everything in this hotel.”

“Yes, Chief.”

After that, the huge, bearded man stomped out of the room.

Everyone else started chatting, looking at each other like they had no clue what to do next.

What was about to come for the rest of the story and how would this end?

“I have to leave the rest from you to handle, Miss Vissara. Please return the stone back to the monster so you can get your daughter back, too.”
