Blending In Part I

“It’s good to know everyone is safe.”

The deep low voice was from the tall man sitting on a large chair that turned away from the desk as if he wanted to look at the night view of Bangkok better. One of his hands was holding a burning cigarette that had not once smocked in at all, while the other one was holding a phone to his ear.

“That is good. I have to thank Alice for saving everyone. Things would have been so much worse if there wasn't her.” The man on the chair spoke in a tired voice. “Anyway, please continue to keep your eyes on them. Keep them safe, Pairin.”

“Yes, Sir.”

The sweet voice replied before the call was hung up. He let out a long sigh. His hand was shaking as it clenched around the phone tightly.

“What are those kids planning to do? Everything is all your fault, Frazier.” He whispered to himself. “Because of your madness, everything’s been messed up like this.”
