The rain got heavier. The two figures had been standing there, staring at each other for a while now. The sky thundered from time to time.

The man with braids sighed. His sharp eyes scrutinized the boy in front of him and he smiled.

“What did you say just now?” He drawled. “You’ll fight me? I think you don’t understand.”

Marcus’s dark brown eyes glowed like those of a wild beast. They were scary.

Kongkiat halted. He got goosebumps like never before.

“I don’t like killing little chicks. I won’t sue you for destroying my bike. Leave before I change my mind.”

Marcus warned him. Kongkiat just knew that it was not a mere threat.

He tried to put up a straight face.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Marcus, but I don’t think I can do that.” Kongkiat sighed. “As long as you’re still here, I won’t go anywhere.”

Marcus scoffed. He raised his hand and flicked his fingers. The moment the air was triggered, a small energy surge ran past Kongkiat’s face and dropped onto the ground, creating a long mark.
