Chen Lin smiled, her gaze flickering up to meet his for a brief moment. "Easy for you to say. You've probably done this a thousand times."
He grinned, stepping back a little to give her space. "True," he admitted. "But practice makes perfect. Keep your fingers curled in like this, to avoid accidents."
He adjusted her hand once more, and she found herself following his guidance naturally. As they continued slicing, she felt her confidence growing. By the time they were done, the slices were much more uniform.
Wu Yuxuan stepped back, a small, approving nod to her. "There, you're getting the hang of it."
Chen Lin straightened up, turning toward him with a triumphant smile. "Not bad, right?"
Wu Yuxuan raised an eyebrow, his voice playful. "In your cooking classes, did your director ever tell you that your slicing needs work?"
