The tension from the negotiation had begun to fade, replaced by lingering questions. She turned to Li Wei, her brows furrowing slightly.
"What did he mean by leaked emails?" she asked.
Li Wei shook his head, his expression just as puzzled. "I don't know. I wasn't aware of anything like that either."
Their gazes instinctively shifted to Sun Liqin, who stood beside them, hands in his pockets, looking entirely at ease. A small, knowing smile tugged at his lips.
Chen Lin narrowed her eyes. "That wasn't a bluff, was it? Because if it was, that was a pretty big gamble."
Sun Liqin let out a soft laugh, shaking his head. "It wasn't a bluff. I had the proof."
Chen Lin crossed her arms. "How?"
He glanced toward the car. "Let's get in first. I'd rather not discuss this out in the open."
With a nod, she slid into the car, followed by Li Wei, while Sun Liqin took the seat beside her. As the car eased into motion, the conversation resumed.
