By around 8 PM, Wu Yuxuan arrived home, carrying a few files with him. Seeing this, Chen Lin raised an eyebrow and asked, "You're still not done with work?"

Wu Yuxuan nodded, setting the files down on the table. "I left early because I knew someone would be waiting for me," he said with a small smirk.

Chen Lin rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at her lips. "You make it sound like I'm forcing you to come home."

Wu Yuxuan leaned closer, teasing, "Well, I haven't gotten any work done these past few days because of you. You're a distraction."

Chen Lin scoffed, lightly slapping his arm. "Excuse me? You're the one who refuses to stay away."

Wu Yuxuan chuckled, eyes gleaming with amusement. "I never said I minded."

Shaking her head, Chen Lin sighed. "Come on, let's have dinner first. You can finish your work after that."

He nodded, heading to their bedroom to change.
