Adventurer's Guild

Zoom was someone knew to the adventurer's guild so before he could complete the quest that concerned the purple flower which as the skeleton knight's flower, he had to register as an adventurer in which the process took a few minutes.

After Zoom was now registered as an adventurer he had received the said rewards.

While Zoom was strolling around the city he was checking out his stat screen where a new section appeared, he clicked on this new section and the name adventurer's guild appeared, he clicked the adventurer's guild and a new page appeared where it displayed everything about the guild.

[Adventurer's Guild

A guild managed and ruled by the emperors of emperors of this world, they are a neutral faction and are pacifists that provide services and rewards, their aim is to help adventurers grow into powerful beings.

Buff for being in this guild (Buff Scales With Rank):

+10% EXP

Your Rank: Rank 1 Recruit

Merit Points: 0/1000]

This was the general summary, one of the ways for a recruit to gain merit points and rank up was to do quests but not every quest gave merit points, only a handful and selected few gave them, but even then those quests would give only a few merit points.

Another way to gain merit points was to do certain deeds. The adventurer's guild is unlike any other guild since they manage every guild in the universe, guilds like Snow could also give buffs like the adventurer's guild but only after reaching a certain level could they do so.

Zoom had looked at a few quests before he left the adventurer's guild but most of them are too hard to handle for a solo player like him and required a at least a decent level or maybe a party.

Since Zoom had nothing else to do he went to an alleyway and consumed all the beast cores he had including the rock golem's heart.

[Congratulations! You Have Learned The Skill 'Summon Rock Golem']

After hearing this notification Zoom paused to look at his stat screen and opened his skill section.

[Summon Rock Golem

Summon a rock golem that stands 3 meters tall. Costs 1000 Mana. ]

[Rock Golem]

[Tier: 1]

[Tier Fragments: 0/200]

[Health: 2,000/2,000]

[Stats]

[Strength: 200]

[Sword: 1]

[Agility: 30]

[Perception: 30]

[Endurance: 200]

[Intelligence: 30]

The rock golem's stat screen had things that were missing like stamina and mana, though the golem never gets tired the golem also doesn't have any mana. It has zero sword skills while both it's strength and endurance stats are high.

Unlike Zoom who needed 1000 tier fragments, the rock golem only needed 200 tier fragments to get promoted to the next level. Though the rock golem cannot level up to gain stat points, you can still feed it beast cores and the one who can distribute it's stat points is the summoner.

Other than the skill that summoned the rock golem Zoom also gained 40 stat points, 80 skill points and 3 tier fragments.

Looking at his tier fragments Zoom's face had a worried expression, the number of his level was higher than his tier fragments which numbered at only 4, but he soon realised how much harder it would be if he had not gotten his looter class. Right now most players have yet to even get 1 tier fragments much less 4.

With this idea in mind Zoom was going to join as many large scale dungeon raids in order to gain as many beast cores as he can.

"Winter our guild members have spotted I giant sized dungeon near the mountains west of the city of Conberjon, the suggested number of players was around a thousand and the dungeon's level is 10, shall we announce this to the members?"

Currently the Snow guild had over 200,000 members with most of them being newbies while their core members numbered at 100 while the elites were yet to be identified.

"Our core members number at around a hundred so we need nine hundred more... we need to filter out nine hundred players from the two hundred thousand we have to become our elites." Winter said and added. "The three strongholds near the snowy mountains and blizzard valley will open in five days, countless guilds will be sure to fight for the strongholds, we can use the fight as a test to filter out the elites from the cannon fodder."

"Ah yes, our members would even work harder since the reward is becoming an elite of Snow! Brilliant!" One of Winter's vice guild masters spoke in an ecstatic tone.

Strongholds were large structures that acted as a fortress, they would give the guild that owned the stronghold an advantage in the area since it gave them a foothold in the area. Strongholds also gave a buff to the members of the guild and access to a private dungeon within the stronghold.

The buffs that the strongholds would give to the guild master and their chosen members were doubled from the ones that were given to the members which would widen the gap of the upper echelon of a guild and their members.

The announcement has already been made which caused an uproar in the guild, the thousands of players were burning with determination to be the chosen ones that become the elites of Snow.

Players were forming parties left and right in order to challenge dungeon after dungeon and gain as many beast cores and levels as they can in the next five days.

During this frenzy Zoom wasn't left out as he also joined a party who was going to challenge the wind dungeon but on normal mode.

His party consisted of a group of slightly experienced players who have dove the dungeon a few times, every player was filled with determination as they hurriedly formed the party, everyone wanted to be an elite, not just because of the salary but because of the benefits that they would incur.

Seeing his party Zoom could only feel sorry for them in his heart.

'Another batch of victims that I will be stealing from.' Zoom wanted to burst in laughter be he stopped himself since he didn't want to look crazy.
