Chapter 69: Transfer Schoool?

"Arthur! This is method I've never thought of before," exclaimed Nicolas, visibly excited.

Nicolas was amazed by Arthur's method, using dream-based magic in alchemy. It was a method that nobody had ever thought of, and the results were surprisingly good.

Although Nicolas' household appliances, which were also alchemical creations, seemed intelligent, they were more like programmed machines.

For example, the air conditioner Nicolas made had cooling enchantments and some spells, but it would always function according to its design and the creator's intentions.

On the other hand, Arthur's method got infinite possibilities.

They could learn and evolve.

Arthur observed the excitement of the 600-year-old Nicolas and quickly gestured for him to calm down, suggesting that they take it slowly.

Arthur talked for many hours about how he made the little yellow creatures and the problems he encountered.

Nicolas listened carefully, sometimes nodding, and gave Arthud good advice and ideas when discussing his problems.

They discussed in the living room until evening, only stopping when the house elf came to inform them that dinner was ready.

Arthur and Nicolas reluctantly ended their conversation.

Nicolas truly deserved his position at the peak of alchemy.

Arthur learned a lot this afternoon, much more than he would have if he had spent a whole month reading books by himself.

Also, Nicolas had never seen Arthur's strange mentality about alchemy, which was affected by the way he thought about programming as a Muggle.

It opened his mind to new ideas and made him want to try a lot of new things.

Naturally, their relationship grew quite strong during this afternoon, making them friends despite the age difference.

At dinner, Arthur also had the chance to meet Nicolas' wife, Mrs. Perenelle, who immediately liked him.

She repeatedly asked Arthur about his dating life and if he would mind having more than one lover.

It left Arthur feeling embarrassed; after all, he was just a young man with two girlfriends.

After that, Arthur lived in the home of Nicolas Flamel.

During these days, Nicolas had already regarded Arthur as his student, opening up his entire collection of books to him.

He even taught Arthur how to create the Philosopher's Stone, believing that Arthur's talent in alchemy far surpassed his own.

Nicolas even intended to pass on his legacy to Arthur.

Nicolas Flamel's collection of 600-year-old antique books was much bigger than any pure-blood family.

The library contained multiple alchemical and magical books that Hogwarts did not own.

Arthur felt completely at home when he spent his days in the library, reading books. He could also sometimes seek advice from Nicolas about the challenges he encountered.

Even his daily food and health were taken care of by the house elves in the castle, making sure he was satisfied in every way.

In a short period of time, Arthur's magic and alchemical abilities made major progress, leaving Nicolas Flamel in astonishment. "You're truly a little monster," he exclaimed.

Arthur's days were filled with good activities, but it also led to some complaints from Mrs. Perenelle.

She couldn't understand why such an adorable child would spend every day in the library and laboratory, which led to a small argument between her and Nicolas.

Even during their experiments, Nicolas jokingly complained about Arthur.

Arthur felt touched by Mrs. Perenelle's concern, but he also found it fun. As an orphan in both worlds, he had long missed the feeling of being part of a family, and he thoroughly enjoyed it here.

...

The time came in August. As usual, Arthur was reading a book in the library and a book titled "Sypnosis of Medieval Dark Magic.."

Suddenly, a house-elf, Sean, appeared in front of him.

"Master Arthur, Madam requests your presence in the big reception hall," Sean respectfully informed him, his tone slightly warmer than before.

Over this period of time, Sean had come to understand that Arthur was Nicolas' heir, in other words, his young master.

Therefore, his tone became less formal and more affectionate.

"What does Mrs. Perenelle want?" Arthur asked, feeling somewhat puzzled.

"There are some visitors from Beauxbatons, and Madam would like you to meet them," Sean replied.

Arthur was surprised.

What connection did he have with the visitors from Beauxbatons? Beauxbatons, as one of the three magical schools in Europe located in France, and Nicolas' family being shareholders of the school, it wasn't strange for people from there to visit.

However, he wondered why he was being called.

Anyway, since Mrs. Perenelle had called for him, and he was a bit tired of reading, Arthur decided to go and see what was happening.

He made his way to the reception hall with Sean by his side. He could hear delighted laughter coming from inside before he even went in.

As he entered the hall, Arthur noticed a woman sitting beside Mrs. Perenelle in the center.

This woman was incredibly tall, Arthur estimated her height to be close to three meters.

Even though she was very tall, she had an aura of beauty and elegance. She was smiling and talking with Mrs. Perenelle.

Sitting next to her was a group of young witches in uniform blue uniforms, hats on their heads, and veils on their faces.

Even though he couldn't see their faces, they all had attractive figures, which showed that their looks probably weren't bad.

When seeing Arthur entered, Mrs. Perenelle immediately smiled and motioned for him to come over.

Arthur took a few steps and greeted her.

Mrs. Perenelle grabbed Arthur's hand and introduced him to the woman opposite her. "Maxime, this is Arthur. He's so smart that even Nicolas can't stop praising him."

"Arthur, this is Madame Maxime, the current Headmistress of Beauxbatons," Mrs. Perenelle explained.

Arthur had actually already guessed her identity, but he didn't show it and instead gave a gentlemanly nod. "Hello, Madame Maxime."

Madame Maxime glanced at Arthur from head to toe, silently admiring him.

She couldn't help but nod in satisfaction.

"Are you interested in transferring to our Beauxbatons? In addition to Beauxbatons, you can choose a few other witches from our school as well,"

Madame Maxime asked, shifting from the expected approach and offering such tempting... ahem, unhealthy conditions.

Arthur was dumbfounded.

'Why was this person not following the normal way and immediately trying to bring him? And such tempting conditions... cough, not healthy.'

"Hmph!"

Just then, a crisp and disdainful hum echoed.

Arthur turned his head to look, and a girl stood up. She had the best figure among the young witches and radiated a unique charm from head to toe.

Seeing Arthur's gaze, the girl didn't back down and glared at him.

She then took off her hat and veil, revealing a pretty face that left people stunned.

The girl had a pair of emerald-like eyes, and her perfectly delicate features her fair and lovely face like Venus's.

As she removed her hat, her silvery hair flowed naturally, shimmering under the candlelight.

The girl raised her chin proudly, looking at Arthur, and spoke in English with a slight French accent.

"I am Fleur Delacour."
