NOTICE: Currently in progress of rewriting things. Chapters 1-34 are being worked on, and when finished I will work on the following chapters. Sorry for the delay, I just want the previous chapters to be the best they can.

Arcadia Online; the first major VRMMORPG in the world. It’s a fantasy-like game where you can immerse yourself in it as if you were actually there, and do whatever you want (as long as it’s within the T rating). You can make friends, money, or even be the protagonist of your own adventure! Anything your heart desires!

Josh is an ordinary 18-year-old guy that enjoys games; perhaps a bit too much. He plays Arcadia day in, and day out; for him, this is his job, his source of entertainment, everything! This game is practically his livelihood. Maybe one day he'll meet someone that can break him out of his shell and help to better himself as a person.

"Why thank you, fine traveler, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to make the medicine my daughter needs to survive. You see, she has a rare illness that req- "

He just keeps going on and on huh? I get it, you needed the medicine, but I just saw like five other guys submit the same quest to you; just how much of these materials do you need?

"-but once again, thank you for everything!"

He gave a big smile to us, but a few seconds later he went back to looking panicked and begging for people to help his ill daughter.

"Well, I think I helped good enough for now. You got any questions? Anything you need some assistance with?"

Olivia thought for a few seconds, or at least pretended to.

"Alright, well I think I'm going to get off for now, I'll see you la-"

"Oh, I was gonna ask if I could join your guild. Brother talks about it a lot."

She seemed a bit shy. Was it because she just shouted at me or because she was asking me for something? Probably the latter, but it's not my choice who joins the guild since I'm not the guild master.

"You gotta ask your brother if you wanna join; he's in charge of the guild."

"If you're worried about Mike saying no, why don't you make yourself invaluable?"

"If you become strong enough I don't think Mike would say no even if he wanted to. Just do some more quests and level up when you can. Oh, and make sure you side with the Enjuhar Empire when you get the chance. If you do that, I'm sure Mike will let you in. Probably."

She seemed to have cheered up a bit.

"Alright, I'm heading out now. If you need some help later ask your brother. If he's not available feel free to ask when I'm online."

I opened my menu and clicking the log-out button on my hud.

The screen went black, the game closed, then I then took off my headset and gear.

Guess I'll relax for a bit and get back on later; I still have some grinding to do.
