Red Domain – Floating Tower, shortly before the Red Stones Event
In a tower that flew above all the countries, demonstrating superiority, was the central tower of the wizards. This was where the most renowned wizards of the entire Red Domain gathered. The select group was composed of 50 wizards. But each one was so powerful that they could destroy entire kingdoms and so influential that they could shake nations. They were the pinnacle of power. Any emperor would have to lower his head to speak to these wizards.
Among them, the main and leading one was a wizard named Norton, master of Sophia, Han's sister.
At this moment, all 50 wizards, 51 if we count Sophia, were sitting like students watching the wizard Norton speak.
He was of unknown age, many tried to speculate about who he was and the reason for his longevity, but no one would dare to fight the legendary wizard of unknown power. Many said that he had surpassed the limits of legend and become an immortal divine being, but no one dared to try to attack him or plan against him.
Norton was giving classes talking about the depth behind magic and even though everyone present was experienced people, the top of the world, they still managed to learn and be surprised by the teaching, deepening the image of Norton in their minds.
Suddenly the wizard stopped talking and became paralyzed.
Everyone present was left confused and just watched.
Norton felt an enormous malice rising towards him, towards this world. He could not explain what it was, but he felt that something was threatening him. He, who was at the top of the world, had never felt threatened and now this frightened him deeply.
Without saying anything he turned around and began searching among the books that were behind him. Every book he found that was not the one he wanted he threw behind him.
By coincidence it fell at the feet of an influential wizard of a nation. He read the title and was frightened. That book had once fallen into the mortal world and caused war between 3 nations, in the end all 3 perished and a fourth emerged, unifying everything and becoming a power. Now the book was here casually thrown. He didn't dare to pick it up.
The wizard Norton spent a few seconds throwing books up until he found something different. It wasn't a book, but a half-torn and faded page in an unknown language.
He then began to read that page. He had found it a long time ago and never paid attention, but now that he felt the threat it was as if a light bulb had turned on in his mind.
He began to reread the text and the more he read the more frightened he became. If what was being said there was true, it could mean good things for the lives on the plane.
''Everyone, something big is about to happen and we may not have much time, everyone should return to their countries and then prepare. I feel that there will be great battles and much bloodshed. Something that even I might be defenseless against.''
Everyone present was startled. It wasn't normal for the most powerful wizard to say something like that, especially since it could threaten him.
''Mr Norton, are you sure about this? There is no one as powerful and brilliant as you''
Taking advantage of the opportunity, a sycophantic wizard spoke. He hoped to get Norton's attention, but what he received was an angry and displeased look.
''The warning has been given, it is up to you to accept it or not. I would not waste my time warning you----'' As the wizard was speaking, he noticed through a small window that the clouds outside, which should have been white, were red.
He quickly approached the window and with an earth magic he manipulated the wall to expand, enlarging the window even more.
Then he saw a frightening sight. The tower was enveloped in red, it was as if it were swimming in a sea of blood.
The sea condensed into small stones and then these stones fell in different directions.
Skillfully, he tried to catch some stones, but for some reason they were elusive and even his most powerful magics could not damage or trap one of those stones.
Little by little, the redness began to fade and no more stones were falling.
Everyone present noticed the seriousness of the situation and left in the direction of their kingdoms, families, and organizations. Many of them did not know that they would never return.
In the end, only Norton, Sophia, and two other mages who were also Norton's disciples remained.
The first was called Lyra Blackwood
She was born into the Blackwood royal family, rulers of the Kingdom of the Eternal Forests, Lyra is an ethereal figure. Her people have elven features, such as slightly pointed ears, deep green eyes, and silver hair that falls to their waists. The Blackwoods are known for their unusual longevity and intimate connection with nature. Lyra's family maintains ancient rituals that allow communication with forest spirits, reinforcing their connection with the natural world.
Lyra is tall, at 1.80 meters, and has snow-white skin. Her silver hair is always adorned with wildflowers, and her movements are graceful and unhurried, as if time does not matter to her. She prefers long dresses in shades of green and blue, made of natural fabrics, reflecting her affinity with nature.
She is introverted and contemplative, Lyra prefers the company of trees to people. She speaks only when necessary, using precise and direct words. She shows discomfort in noisy or very crowded environments, and has a strong sense of justice and protection of nature. Her specialty is water magic and natural rituals.
The other disciple is a former princess of the Empire of the Golden Sands, Mei Al-Rashid is a figure marked by her strength and determination. She was exiled after discovering her older brother's plans to assassinate her father, and grew up in an environment of political intrigue and power struggles. During her exile, Mei learned magic from desert nomads, developing skills in earth and lightning magic.
Mei has sun-tanned skin and short, unruly black hair. A scar on her face is a constant reminder of an assassination attempt. She prefers the practical, sturdy clothing typical of desert warriors, and always carries a dagger as a memento of her mother.
Direct and sometimes rude in her interactions, Mei disregards formalities and etiquette of nobility. She is loyal to her friends and ruthless with enemies, using vulgar language and adopting habits considered "masculine". Her specialty is earth and lightning magic.
Both were at some point in their lives saved by the wizard Norton and then became his disciples. Lyra is the eldest, followed by Mei and finally Sophia.
Sophia had an imposing and mysterious presence. Her curvaceous body is highlighted by traditional Daoist robes in shades of dark green and black, which flow elegantly. Her long black hair frames a face with striking features, where bright green eyes convey a penetrating and serious look.
On her head, a delicate crown of wild flowers, a gift given by Lyra, and around her neck, a peculiar necklace draws attention: a scorpion tail preserved in crystal, which emits a subtle and mysterious glow, a gift given by Mei.
Her posture is proud and confident, typical of an experienced and powerful magician. After all, among the three, she is the most talented. Sophia carried Charlotte's inheritance in her chest. Breasts so large that even in Daoist robes they stood out. In addition to beautiful sensual curves.
The three together could be said to be the pinnacle of beauty. One with an innocent expression, the other with a furious expression and one with a hot expression. Any man would go crazy for one of them.
If it weren't for the red stone event, all the other magicians who left would prefer to stay here to try to win the favor of these beauties. Whether for the chance to create even more connections or just to be able to appreciate their beauty. Anything would be a gain for them.
At this moment the three were lost in thought as the wizard Norton stared at them.
He studied the three women. Each of them represented not only extraordinary magical power, but also the diversity of the Red Dominion.
Lyra stood near the window, her silver hair reflecting the red of the sky. Her presence was as silent as the ancient forests of her homeland.
Across the room, Mei Al-Rashid leaned against a column, restless as the sandstorms of her homeland.
Between them, Sophia stood attentively, her eyes fixed on Norton.
"My disciples," Norton began, his voice echoing in the now empty room, "what we witnessed was not just a natural phenomenon. Those stones... there is something about them that defies the laws of magic as we know it."
Mei huffed, crossing her arms. "Fuck the laws of magic. I saw those things dodge even your spells, master. That shouldn't be possible."
"Precisely, Mei." Norton nodded, ignoring his disciple's vulgar language. "Lyra, what do your senses tell you about these stones?"
The forest mage closed her eyes for a moment. "They... disturb the spirits of nature. It's as if they carry an energy that doesn't belong in this world."
"Then we have a clear purpose," Sophia interjected. "We need to understand what these stones are before they fall into the wrong hands."
Norton walked over to a bookshelf and pulled out three different crystals: a sapphire, a ruby, and an emerald. "Each of you will set off in a different direction. These crystals will allow you to communicate with each other and with me."
"Mei, you know the desert paths and the sand routes, investigate the stones that fell there."
The former desert princess took the ruby, a savage smile on her lips. "I know every rat that lurks in the sands, master."
"Lyra, return to the Eternal Forests. The ancient spirits may have answers that the books do not."
The elven mage simply nodded silently, graciously taking the emerald.
"Sophia, as the strongest you should take on the greater challenge. To the south of the tower I noticed that a large amount of stones fell there. Go in that direction and investigate. Observe how the major kingdoms will react to this change."
"And if we encounter resistance?" Sophia asked, holding up the sapphire.
"Use any means necessary," Norton replied, his gaze hardening. "But remember: discretion and protection are crucial. We do not know who else might be interested in these stones and we do not know the effect, so seek to understand the situation and protect yourselves."
Mei asked uneasily.
''And you old man, don't tell me that you're going to give us tasks while you do nothing''
Staring at Mei, the wizard just smiled,
''I'll face the most difficult. I felt powerful auras moving, old acquaintances, gathering. I'll join them to understand''
Mei then replied
''Old acquaintances? And do you still have friends alive? I thought that at your age everyone had died by the tenth generation''
Sophia and Lyra shook their heads. It was taboo to talk about age with old Norton, but that was nothing to Mei, she always tried somehow to find out how old he was, but always failed.
"Stop talking. You can all go. Remember to focus on protecting yourselves and staying safe."
Mei was the first to set off decisively.
The biting wind whipped at her as she flew towards golden dunes.
The magic of flight, a technique she had perfected with Norton, allowed her to cross great distances effortlessly. And in a few hours she was flying over her old kingdom, bitter and sweet memories mixing in her mind. The Al-Rashid palace, with its golden domes, still stood majestically on the horizon, a constant reminder of her former life as a princess.
Suddenly, a red flash caught her attention. In the distance, near an oasis, luminous dots indicated an ongoing battle. Mei adjusted her trajectory and headed in the direction.
As she got closer, the details of the scene became clearer. A group of about twenty men were fighting fiercely around something that emitted an intense scarlet glow. An uncountable number of bodies lay around.
"What are these idiots doing here?" She muttered to herself, recognizing some of the fighters as members of nomadic tribes. Their distinctive clothing was a sign that they belonged to two tribes in battle.
Mei landed silently behind a nearby dune, watching the chaos unfold. Her hand instinctively went to the dagger at her waist—not that she needed conventional weapons, but it was one of the few mementos she had of her mother, and in moments of tension she would touch the dagger to calm herself.
A bestial roar cut through the air, followed by silence. Mei stood up slightly to get a better look at the scene, and her eyes widened as she saw a particularly large warrior lift a fist-sized red stone.
"What is that fool doing?" she asked quietly as she stared at the scene without planning to intervene.
The man crushed the stone in his hand, and a crimson aura enveloped his muscular body.
The power emanating from him made Mei instinctively flinch. She could feel it—this man had just surpassed her own level of power. And from the savage grin on his face, he was all too aware of it.
"Is he… getting stronger?" she whispered to herself, as the warrior began to move with an impossible speed for his size, his sword cutting through allies and enemies alike as if they were made of paper.
The warrior, now enveloped in a pulsating red aura, let out a loud laugh that echoed throughout the oasis. His muscular body seemed to have grown even larger, and prominent red veins marked his tanned skin.
"Finally!" his voice thundered. "The power I've always dreamed of!"
With a movement that could barely be followed by the eye, he crossed the battlefield. His curved sword, typical of desert warriors, cut through the other combatants as if they were made of sand. Any life, any sound caused him to chase after it, and then a life was cut short.
Mei watched tensely, her mind calculating rapidly. Level 20, maybe more, she thought, feeling the weight of her own limitation at level 18. That idiot Norton should have warned me about this. Within minutes, silence reigned once more. The warrior stood in the center of a circle of bodies, his breathing heavy and irregular. Then, slowly, his head turned in the direction where Mei was hiding. '''''''''''''''''
"I know you're there," he growled, a predatory smile on his face. "I can smell you... a woman."
Mei swore softly. The increase in power had apparently sharpened his senses. She then tried to run away, she didn't know what would happen if she were caught by him. She began to chant a magic spell, ready to fly away, but before she could think, the man with reactions beyond normal reacted and ran towards her and gave a powerful punch to Mei's back, sending her flying towards a nearby wall that fell with the impact.
"A woman of the desert... and from your posture, not just any old woman. How lucky I am. I won't let you get away easily."
Mei felt the metallic taste of blood in her mouth as she tried to get up from the rubble. The pain in her back was intense, and she could feel that some of her ribs were broken. The impact had been brutal - that man was much stronger than she imagined.
"Damn..." she muttered, coughing up blood. Her mind worked frantically, trying to find a way out. Flying magic was out of the question now - he was too fast.
The warrior approached slowly, savoring each step. The red aura around him seemed to pulse with his predatory excitement. "You know, I've always wanted a high-class woman," he chuckled, looking down at Mei's fine clothes, now torn and dirty. "And you smell...different. The smell of power." ''''''''''''''''''
Mei tried to cast a protection spell, but before she could complete the incantation, the man was already on top of her. With a brutal movement, he grabbed her wrists with one hand, pressing her against the rubble. ''''''''''''''''
"Don't even think about it, little princess," he growled, his breath hot on her face. "No magic tricks now."
With his free hand, he began to tear Mei's robes apart, exposing her tanned skin. Her chest showing off the white, untanned skin was like an aphrodisiac to men, her small nipple revealed. She struggled, but it was like fighting a mountain—the difference in physical strength was absurd.
"I'm going to enjoy every moment," he whispered, his rough hands exploring her body violently. "And then, who knows? Maybe I'll keep you as my personal slave."
Mei gritted her teeth, enduring the pain and humiliation. But in her mind, a plan was beginning to form. If he was so consumed by desire and power... maybe this was her only chance.
"Please..." she moaned, feigning submission. "Don't hurt me anymore..."
The warrior smiled victoriously, loosening his grip slightly. While he used one hand to expose his massive cock, Mei discreetly began to gather magical energy from within her body, in a layer beneath her skin. It didn't appear to be anything visible, but if someone touched her skin, they could receive a strong shock. She made a huge effort not to cast magic where he wasn't touching.
"That's it, be a good girl," he growled, rubbing his cock against her face. "Open that pretty mouth."
Mei parted her lips, feeling the salty taste on her cheek. The man was so lost in his lust that he didn't notice the small bolts of lightning that were starting to run under her skin.
When he pressed his cock against her lips, Mei released all the accumulated energy. A burst of thunder erupted from her body, turning her into a living conductor of electricity. Through the head of his cock, the warrior received the direct discharge.
His scream echoed through the oasis as his body was traversed by thousands of volts, he was burned from the inside, his cock being the starting point was destroyed, all his bones were broken by the violence of the thunder.
The smell of burning flesh filled the air, and as the lightning faded, the man staggered back, badly injured, his skin smoking and like jelly as he fell to the ground.
Mei staggered to her feet, spitting on the ground in disgust. Her body ached, but the rage in her eyes burned brighter than any wound.
"Son of a bitch," she growled, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. The taste of him still disgusted her. "You think you can use me like some common whore?"
The warrior lay on the ground, his body still smoking with no bones left, in pain worse than death. Mei gathered more energy, ignoring the pain in her broken ribs. Lightning danced around her, reflecting in her furious eyes.
"Do you know what your mistake was, worm?" she advanced, her voice filled with hatred. "To think that a princess of Al-Rashid would be your little whore."
She spat again, this time directly in his face, she also began to kick his head.
"You don't even deserve to clean the shit off my boots."
Mei then pulled out a dagger from between her clothes.
''You won't die yet. I want you to suffer.''
Mei then stuck the dagger into the warrior's heart. If he were a normal person he might die, but with his vitality, he could stay alive for a few more hours.
"May the vultures eat your flesh while you are still alive," she shouted, kicking him in the head again. She then straightened up, her clothes torn. Her body trembled, not from fear, but from pure hatred.
She took the stone that Norton had given her and then passed on the information. She did not want Sophia to go through the same thing she had gone through and promptly passed the information on to her sisters.
Luckily, the other two had no trouble. Lyra quickly met with the ancestral spirits and was trying to get information.
Mei then left.
As for the man? Minutes after he left, small ants appeared and began to eat the bodies that were there, he felt each bite tear his skin. After that, other animals and insects began to appear. A snake appeared and ate his eye and entered the cavity. A bird ripped open his belly and began to eat his entrails.
A rare scorpion laid eggs on the man's feet and with surprising speed his foot dissolved, the flesh was consumed and from there small scorpions were born.
Until the very end, he suffered, and when it was all over, not even his bones were left.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for Sophia, he was lucky.
Sophia cut through the sky with grace, her elegant figure wrapped in black robes. Her black hair fluttered in the wind as she kept her eyes fixed on the horizon, towards the coordinates that Norton had indicated.
The flight magic she used was different from that of most mages. While others needed to maintain a constant flow of energy, Sophia had developed a technique that created air currents that supported her, allowing her to conserve energy for possible confrontations.
After a few hours of flying, she began to notice something strange in the air. A reddish mist hung over a city in the distance, and as she got closer, the metallic smell of blood became stronger and stronger.
"This isn't normal," she muttered to herself, adjusting her trajectory to descend. As she got closer, her eyes widened at the sight below. The city, which should have housed tens of thousands of people, had been transformed into a chaotic battlefield.
Bodies piled up in the streets like discarded garbage bags. Houses were burning, and cries of war and agony echoed from all sides. Three large clashes were occurring simultaneously in different sectors of the city, each emanating a different energy.
Sophia landed silently on top of a partially destroyed mansion, observing the closest conflict. On one side, soldiers in the official uniforms of the local governor - their golden armor stained with blood. On the other, a group of casual warriors, but something about them caught her attention. One leader held a stone, and as the battle went on, its power grew.
Sophia arrived just as the leader had just risen from 14 to 15
"So this is what stones can do," she whispered, her analytical eyes studying the energy pattern emanating from the group. "They are... evolving during the battle."
A particularly large man among the rebels, similar in build to a blacksmith, had just crushed a soldier's skull with a makeshift hammer.
The soldiers, realizing they were outnumbered, began to retreat. "Protect the captain!" one of them shouted, forming a human barrier around a man in more elaborate armor.
"Enough of this insanity," Sophia decided, rising to her feet. Her robes billowed in a sudden gust of magical wind. She stretched out her hands and began to weave a complex incantation.
The air around her began to crystallize, forming thousands of needles of ice. The combatants below, absorbed in their own battle, did not notice the silent death forming above them.
"Rain of a Thousand Needles," she said softly, and the air exploded with the sound of ice cutting through the wind.
The ice needles whizzed through the air like deadly arrows, each one precise and lethal. The rebels, drunk on their new power, barely had time to register the danger before the icy storm struck them.
The blacksmith was the first to fall, his body pierced by dozens of ice spikes. The red aura surrounding him pulsed violently before dissipating. Others quickly followed, their cries of pain and surprise drowned out by the slicing sound of the ice.
"Impossible!" one of the surviving warriors shouted, his face contorted with rage and fear. "Who dares-"
Her words were cut off by a needle piercing her throat. The blood that gushed out froze instantly.
Sophia descended gracefully from the building, landing among the fallen bodies. The surviving soldiers instinctively recoiled—the power emanating from her was unlike anything they had ever felt.
"The stone," she commanded, her voice calm but authoritative. "Where is it?"
A final rebel, shaking with fear and fury, drew the red stone from his robes. It was the size of a hen's egg, pulsing with an eerie light.
Sophia raised an eyebrow, noting how the stone reacted to the spilled blood. With a fluid movement of her hand, a spear of ice pierced the man's chest. The stone rolled from his dead fingers, clinking softly on the bloody floor.
Sophia approached the fallen stone cautiously, her eyes studying the pulsing glow that seemed to be in sync with the pools of blood around it. The air was thick with the metallic smell of death.
"So this is what the master feared," she murmured, crouching down to examine it more closely. The stone was unlike any other—it had dark veins that seemed to move inside, like blood in veins.
With one precise movement, she created a dome of ice around the stone before touching it. As she picked it up, she felt a pulse of energy course through her body. It was as if the stone was… hungry.
"Maga!" the voice of the captain of the soldiers interrupted her. "In the name of the governor, I demand that you hand over this relic!"
Sophia turned slowly, her expression unreadable. The captain and his few remaining soldiers had formed a semicircle, swords drawn.
"You have no idea what you have here," she replied, her voice thick with authority. "This stone is not a simple relic. It is a-"
Her words were interrupted by a deafening crash coming from the other side of the city. A column of red light cut through the sky, and a bestial roar echoed through the streets.
"By the gods...", whispered one of the soldiers.
Sophia squeezed the stone in her hand, feeling her pulse increase. "The battle here is over," she declared, rising into the air. "I suggest you flee while you can."
As she flew towards the new threat, she activated the communication crystal that Norton had given her. "Mei, Lyra... we have a bigger problem than we imagined."
She then passed on new information to the two.
Then she set off towards the two places where the war was still going on. Skillfully using the same method she had pacified the city, the governor's guard began to clean up the mess and kill anyone who resisted. To her surprise, there were also two more stones there similar to the first one she found.
A man appeared demanding that she deliver the stone to the governor, but Sophia's response was to freeze him. He wouldn't die, but he would spend many hours frozen.
Seeing her response, no one dared to question anything further.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Lyra finally reached the ancient forests.
Unlike Mei and Sophia who flew, she descended from the tower and then went into the earth, using an ancient elven magic called the ''Root Path''
She then appeared in a forest covered by a light illusory mist.
There were trees as thick as a house and so big that it was impossible to see the top.
She then began to communicate with the trees.
''Dear ones, this humble one has come to your lordships to seek advice''
With a slight sound of awakening, the trees began to move their branches and leaves.
An ancient voice then spoke
An ancient voice, deep as ancient roots and soft as a breeze between leaves, echoed through the forest:
"Young daughter of the eternal forests, what your eyes witness is only the surface of much deeper waters."
Other voices joined in, creating an ancient harmony that made the very leaves vibrate:
"The red stones are not of this world... not even of this plane of existence. They are fragments of something far beyond the comprehension of mortals."
A particularly ancient tree, with black bark and silvery leaves, moved its branches, forming intricate patterns in the air:
"It is both a blessing and a curse. The power they offer is real, but each stone is like a seed planted in fertile soil... and not all seeds grow healthy trees."
"We have seen cycles like this before," whispered another voice, heavy with ancient memories. "When too much power is given too quickly, the balance is broken. And when the balance is broken..."
The mist around them grew thicker, and images began to form in it of ancient civilizations being born and dying, power corrupting and destroying.
"There is something else," the first voice continued. "The stones... they have a will of their own. They are not passive tools waiting to be used. More like... traps waiting to be activated."
Lyra felt a shiver run down her spine. "What are we to do then, elders?"
"Watch. Learn. And above all, do not trust. The power they offer always exacts its price... even if the price is not immediately apparent."
The mist began to show new images, red shadows spreading like diseased roots across the Red Domain.
"And remember, young daughter: sometimes the greatest danger is not the power the stones grant... but what they awaken in those who use them.''
Then there was another rustle of the flora and a branch handed Lyra two small stones.
"Child. If you are interested in these stones, here are three that have fallen into our domain. They are of no use to us, but as you show interest. Take them."
Lyra then felt the fog increase and when she realized it she was outside. The ancestors had already said what they could say and expelled her
She then communicated everything that had happened to her sisters.
Mei was the most stressed
While she was almost raped and didn't get any reward, her sisters got these stones that seemed to be able to easily increase their power.
They quickly gathered again at the tower.
Mei was already dressed but still with an expression of discontent. She didn't tell what happened and felt that she needed to somehow let off steam but it wasn't the time for that.
Sohpia then took the lead
''On the way here I also noticed a change. The natural difference between warriors and mages disappeared. I could see a mage being defeated by a warrior of the same level, something that didn't happen before. In addition, several cities were decimated. We can't allow the continent to fall completely because of these stones.''
Mei replied disgruntled, "Let it fall completely, this continent is dirty and everyone deserves to die."
Lyra, who was more sensitive, noticed a certain sour tone in Mei's voice. "Sister, did something happen to you?"
Mei didn't answer directly, she just commented, "We should get together and control these bastards. Make sure only those who are worthy can use the stones."
She said this casually, but Sophia's eyes shone.
"That's a good idea, with the stones we have, we can actually do that. It wouldn't be difficult to gather a large number of interested people. We can then massacre those who are killing indiscriminately."
Mei liked the idea while Lyra frowned at the idea of killing.
"The ancestors said this could be a trap. I won't touch those stones. I will only stay in the royal forests protecting the elf nation''
The other two were not surprised. Lyra always sought peace above all else, since she became a disciple she had rarely fought. She focused on studying the truth behind science. It was normal for her not to want to get involved and they expected it.
Mei was excited about the idea of killing, she needed to somehow get out what she was feeling.
''Come on Sophia, we need to start hunting.''
So from a small meeting of sisters the infamous ''Bloody League'' was born
The two went to every place where there were battles, they filled them and used them for themselves. Both were raised to level 22, where they then realized that they could still get stronger, but this time the most important thing was the strength of whoever was being killed.
Regardless of the number of dead, now it was necessary to have quality instead of quantity. But level 22 was enough for them to feel confident.
