Attack on Grava City ends
"He's really gone. Seth's really gone," Alexander whispers as he puts his back on a pile of rubble with a conflicted expression.
"I'm sorry, you guys; I know he was much closer to y'all than to me," Jason says in an apologetic tone.
After Jason's apology, all four stay silent for a couple of seconds.
"Aye, guys, I think we shouldn't stay here. Let's all pick up Seth's body and carry it back to the stadium. That's the least we can do for him," Unknown says as he tries to force a smile on his face.
"We keep talking about this stadium. I get it; it's probably the safest place to go right now, especially with Grava Academy turned to ashes, but how do we even know the stadium is still there? Especially with all those mini-nukes that just went off?" Jason asks in a monotone tone.
"Yeah, how the hell do we even know if everyone else isn't dead and we're the only ones alive since we were here fighting the damn maniacs?" Alexander questions as he places both of his hands on his face as he puts his head back.
"No, that can't be right! There's no way we're the only ones alive in the city!" Unknown exclaims with a panicked expression.
As the rest converse about the situation, Kage stands up and turns around toward where Cyrus is.
"Hey Kage, what ar—"
As Unknown talks, he notices something going on around him.
"Wait, Kage is draining all the energy in the area, even from me. Don't tell me he's trying..."
As Unknown thinks to himself, Kage begins to use energy jet to begin floating off the ground.
"Kage—"
Before Unknown could speak, he noticed Kage still crying in pure silence.
Without saying a word, Kage flies off into the sky and then blasts himself toward the location of Cyrus.
"Where the hell is he going?" Jason asks.
As Jason asks this question, Unknown looks at Kage as he flies away.
"I don't know..."
Suddenly Unknown remembers the words Kage said to him after the death of Kirata the beast king.
"Oh well, don't get me wrong. I'm sad about his death, but not enough to cry. It's not like I knew him personally, so I can't really find myself crying," Kage says in an uncaring tone.
After remembering these words, Unknown starts to whisper hesitantly.
"I've never seen Kage like this before."
Over at the area at the location of Cyrus, Mr.Mink is currently fighting off an army of augmented cyborgs while Nixion flies around in the air clashing with Cyrus.
"What type of robot are these? They keep coming back together every time I destroy one!" Mr.Mink exclaims as he sees hundreds of destroyed augmented cyborgs put themselves back together piece by piece.
"They're not robots, you damn ignorant buffoon! Don't use such demeaning names for my babies! There are augmented cyborgs, you hear me! Augmented cyborgs!" Solomon yells in an offended tone.
"And this guy Solomon. From the name alone and his relation to Cyrus Blackwood, I'm assuming he's the same Solomon from the Fallen Stars. What is with this group? A handful of feared legends, Ego, and now Solomon. Is this roster of individuals really all led by just one man?" Mr.Mink thinks to himself.
"Hey, are you listening?"
After hearing Solomon scream, Mr.Mink snaps back to reality.
"Oh great, you're finally paying attention! These are augmented cyborgs, version two, much stronger than the ones that guard the base! What makes these special is the fact that the robotic parts of their body are made out of nanotech, which means they can just keep clumping back together even if they lose the human side of them, but don't worry; version three will be even better!" Solomon explains in an excited tone.
"Did he have to stop the battle just to say that?" Mr.Mink asks himself.
Suddenly everyone feels a huge surge of OGI coming from the air.
Currently, Nixion is exuding extreme power from his body with two pairs of red eyes appearing next to him and five behind him.
Cyrus, who is floating across from him, looks in awe as Nixion powers up.
"Oh wow, teach! I didn't think you had it in you! To release such power right here," Cyrus remarks with a smirk.
"You give me no choice, Cyrus! With the way you're moving, the world will fall apart with your existence!" Nixion speaks with a stern tone.
"Nixion I know the city has been destroyed, but you have to think about the chance of survivors! If you use your power now, they surely will die. we have to perceive life!" Mr.Mink shouts from down below with a concerned tone.
After hearing Mr.Mink's pleas, Nixion looks back over to Cyrus.
"What's wrong, teach? Having second thoughts?" Cyrus asks in a mocking tone.
"I know what could happen if I release all of my power here, but it's not enough to just toss him into another dimension or anything small; he needs to be destroyed thoroughly," Nixion says in a serious tone.
"Hahaha, well said, Nixion!" an aggressive voice shouts.
Everyone looks to the sky where the voice came from and sees Hunter come down and slam into the battle between Solomon and Mr.Mink destroying many augmented cyborgs in the process.
"Hahaha! Aye, red-haired man I can't believe you defeated me so fast! Damn it, this is a dream come true! Two people who can overpower me so easily! I could just die out of excitement!" Hunter shouts as drool rains out of his mouth.
"Hey, Hunter, you destroyed my baby's watch where you land!" Solomon screams in a frantic tone.
Hunter ignores Solomon and gets on all fours in preparation to attack.
"This guy Hunter I just knocked him down, and he's still able to get up. He was already weak when he fought me, and now he's even weaker! The fact that he still wants to fight can only be compared to a starved beast," Mr.Mink thinks to himself as he gets into a fighting stance.
Suddenly, Ego appears next to Solomon with Elias on his back.
"Damn, getting this kid out of the ice took way longer than I thought, even with a flamethrower," Ego remarks.
Up in the sky, Nixion stares down Cyrus with his power still building.
"Fine, Mr.Mink You're right; perceiving life is more important. It always has been," Nixion says as he powers down.
"Ha! It looks like you haven't changed at all, teach. Always choose the wrong side in the end," Cyrus remarks as he floats down to the ground next to Solomon and Ego.
"Don't get anything twisted, Cyrus; your operations will not succeed. I will make sure of that," Nixion says with a stern glare and a serious tone.
"I love it when you jest teach," Cyrus says charismatically.
Cyrus looks to his left and sees Killer and Nisugi appear next to the rest of the group with the accelerate technique.
"..."
"I'm sorry for making you look like a fo—"
"Stop your sentence right there, Nisugi; nothing you do can make me look like a fool. trust me on that," Cyrus says confidently.
Cyrus looks forward and sees Hunter about to fight Mr.Mink.
"Hunter, you can have your fun on your own time; right now we leave!" Cyrus commands.
After hearing Cyrus's demands, Hunter looks back with an infuriated expression.
"I thought you wouldn't get in the way of my hunt!" Hunter exclaims.
"You're right. I won't get in your way. you can stay here and die in an instant because of your depleted OGI or you can leave now and get a better battle later the choice is yours," Cyrus states with a stoic expression.
After hearing Cyrus's words, Hunter calms down and stands back up.
"Yeah, you make a good point! A battle at full strength is much better!" Hunter says as he jumps back to join the rest of L.T.O.
"Ok, so that's everyone here; let's get moving," Solomon says as the same tattered book manifests in front of his chest.
Solomon pulls his pen out of his pocket, and after twirling the pen, he begins writing in the book.
Nixion lands on the ground next to Mr.Mink.
"What in the world could he be drawing in this situation?" Mr.Mink asks.
"Solomon has improved on his level two power a significant amount since the last time I saw him. Whatever he's drawing it's not going to be a waste," Nixion explains.
Solomon pulls his pen away from his book, and suddenly a huge black sludge-like substance appears under the L.T.O. members.
"Yeah, I hope you like this one. It's a portal that can get us out of here all at once," Solomon remarks.
All the L.T.O. members start to sink into the black sludge with a cold, dark aura coming off of them.
"Cyrus Blackwood! You think you're above the structured world we live in. If you keep going down this path you're going, you will soon learn how out of place you are," Nixion states in a cold tone.
"Hahaha! Nixion the so-called strongest OGI user of all time! A title you have been given so long ago, but you need to wake up!"
As Cyrus speaks, he lifts both of his arms above his head.
"The world is changing, and soon you'll have to accept that simple fact!"
Cyrus puts his right palm to the sun, which has fully risen, and clenches his fist almost like he's grabbing it.
"And soon this new world will be headed by Cyrus Blackwood!" Cyrus remarks with a smile.
Suddenly from the sky, Kage slams into the battlefield next to Mr.Mink after finally reaching his destination.
"Kage, what are you doing here? I thought I told you to go back to the stadium?" Mr.Mink asks in a shocked expression.
Kage completely ignores Mr.Mink's question and stands up straight with a blank expression on his face. When Mr.Mink looks at Kage's left hand, he sees Seth's chain dangling in his hand.
"That chain, why do I feel like I've seen it before? Wasn't it on Seth's neck? Mr.Mink thinks to himself.
Kage looks straight and sees Cyrus sinking into the black sludge. After seeing his face, Kage thinks back to Seth's death.
"Thank you for being my friend, Kage," Seth repeats in a peaceful tone in Kage's head.
"You!" Kage says in an infuriated tone.
In his right hand, a giant ball of energy builds up in his hand with so much intensity it looks like a raging flame.
"I'll fucking murder you!" Kage shouts as the ball of energy grows bigger and becomes more wild.
As Kage's vision begins to turn red with his heart beating fast and tears spill from his eyes, a mysterious but familiar voice says something in the back of his head.
"I don't hate people who act out of rage; I hate people who act out of blind rage because they can never seem to handle the consequences," a mysterious voice states.
Kage's vision instantly goes back to normal, and his heartbeat begins to slow down.
"Awe, if it isn't Kage Frost," Cyrus remarks.
As all the other L.T.O. members seep into the black sludge, Cyrus vanishes and reappears next to Kage and puts his mouth next to Kage's left ear.
Instantly Nixion and Mr.Mink get on the defensive after Cyrus appears.
Cyrus puts his right hand over Kage's energy ball, and it instantly dissipates, leaving Kage shocked.
"Don't worry, Kage Frost, we will have our conversation soon," Cyrus whispers in a devious tone with a smirk.
Cyrus vanishes again and goes back to where the black sludge is and begins to sink in.
"Nixion, make sure you remember these words! I'm going to tell you something they used to say from my hometown..."
The wind starts to pick up around Cyrus, causing his cloak to get caught up in the breeze as he pulls out the level three dagger from under his cloak and holds it up like a trophy.
"Voyna na poroge!" Cyrus says with a deep voice.
Cyrus's upper body completely sinks into the black sludge.
"This is war."
After Cyrus's declaration, he sinks all the way into the black sludge, and instantly the black sludge evaporates. Also, all the augmented cyborgs left in the area fall to the ground and split into many small pieces.
"Did he just declare war?" Mr.Mink asks with a shaken expression.
"Yes, that's exactly what he did, and knowing him, it wasn't just on us; it was on the entire world. That's how far he will go to reach his goals," Nixion responds.
"Damn it, things just keep getting worse," Mr.Mink thinks.
Suddenly Kage drops Seth's chain, causing Mr.Mink to look over his way.
"Kage, are you ok?" Mr.Mink inquires as Kage breathes heavily while wobbling back and forth.
"I've learned nothing. I'm so pathetic," Kage thinks to himself as he falls face flat on the ground.
Kage instantly blacks out after a long period of exhaustion.
"Kage!"
