Early that morning Jeff was holding Elaine down in bed and kissing her, when the communicator rang at an inopportune time.
Jeff straightened up, impatiently smoothed the messy hair on his forehead to the back of his head, then reached for his communicator and answered a call from Via, "It's not a weekday."
Elaine was lying on her back between his legs, looking up at him with confused eyes, with her shirt was a little messy.
" Ah, but I have to work for you guys on a weekend day!" On the phone, Via said with a sarcastic smile: "The lab results are in, and the drug residues are above the normal standard, but it's still within the safe limits, would take about ten days and a half to metabolise."
"Thank you, "The expected result, Jeff didn't waver.
"But the brain check can still be done sometime."
"No need, that's fine."
