Astral's Rise Part 32: Titan and Mu

Astral would be flying through space as he felt the heat of the suns. Slowly reacting with the bubble charm he felt normal once again. Looking on either side of him was staring into a sun. It had surrounded him. He felt like this was it, the pressure from the suns pulling at him.

The two would slam into each other and try to crush him. Astral would stretch out his hands. Holding the celestial bodies back from crushing him. He would feel the burn on his hands as he held them back. He held their surfaces in his palms as he was burning everywhere from what it felt like.

His suit could only do so much. The bubble charm was helpful but did nothing against the heat. "Wait, suns are celestial bodies. I wonder?" His voice went nowhere as the suns drowned out his voice with their solar flares.

 He focused deep inside of himself. Searching deep inside of the suns he felt their tiny little voices of wanting to be freed. He would reach into them and absorb them into himself. He felt them rush into him, he felt warmer as the suns themselves lost their spirit.

The suns would slowly glow dimmer before they merged into each other and went supernova. The explosion sent a wave of colors across the sky and horizon. Titan threw his hands up in victory as the supernova formed into a blackhole leaving no trace of Astral to be seen. Titan would walk over to Astral's friends and speak as the barrier was still up. "All of you could attack me at once and still lose, I can't wait to taste you…" 

He pointed to Jaimie as she fell to her knees, he couldn't have died. Astrid, Angel and James all got ready for battle as they all looked up. Something caught their eye. Adam stood looking at Titan, holding a drawn katana. "No you won't, the barrier is still up, which means. You are fucked. Picked on the wrong people." Adam smiled as Titan growled. Ignoring the looks upward from the rest to stare down Adam.

A bright cyan beam came from the blackhole. Titans arm would fall to the ground as Astral stood next to his friends. He would turn to Titan and retrospectively Mu. "It ends now." Titan would charge at Astral who moved to finish Mu off. Titan was slower as Astral moved like a blur in his eyes. 

Mu flipped into the sky as he hovered there. Sending psychokinetic blasts at Astral who dodged them. All that was seen was the line of cyan as it was behind Mu, Astral's elbow coming down onto Mu as Titan threw his severed arm to block the attack. Mu blinked away and held Astral in a psychic cube.

Astral felt the box constricting from all sides. Murasama appeared at his hip glowing. Astral drew it out and flicked his wrist as the box shattered like glass. The shards fell to the ground before firing themselves at Astral. Who blocked them with his blade.

Astral landed gently on the ground looking at the two, he felt revitalized with the new wave of energy, this was a brand new fight that was even. Mu threw up orbs of light as they took form. Beams would fire at Astral as he used the mirror spell and sent them back at Mu and Titan. Titan took each hit as it burned holes though him. Protecting Mu with each blow. Mu stood on top of Titan as the light all bowed out around Astral.

A ring of light was formed and constricted around Astral who dodged it by jumping through it. Astral sent a slash of Muramasa at Mu as it missed due to Mu warping away. Titan had a wide open shot as he launched a punch straight into Astral's chest.

A hole of light appeared where Titan punched as it closed instantly. It cut off his hand as he pulled back and reformed it instantly. Swinging both his arms down he wanted to finish Astral with a clap. The hands came within a nanometer before they vanished. Astral looked like he didn't even move as Titan took a step back speaking out incantations in a certain order to make himself stronger.

"YOU." Astral turned to Mu as he launched light discs at his opponent. Mu held an orb as the discs were absorbed into it.

"Child's play for such a young combatant." His voice was clear as day. This child wasn't normal and none of this was, Astral launched a barrage of sword slashes as Mu blocked it with weaker hard light shields that shattered with each sword swing.

The shattered light falling to the ground as Astral's arms were nothing but blurs with his blade. Mu would keep blocking with one hand as the other controlled the shards and sent each one at Astral.

Astral had none of it, he went to move as Titan held him down. Astral's suit stood alone as the light barraged it. Astral was nowhere to be seen by everyone, before Mu also became invisible. Titan crushed the helmet of the armor as it fell to the ground. "Looking for me?" Astral's voice came from behind Titan as he was shocked to not see blood from the suit that vanished in a blink of light.

Astral held Mu by the throat before slamming him into the ground, Mu would hover a bit away sending psychic attacks at Astral who would counter with his hard light magic. Maneuvering in a way he never felt possible. He would close the gap as he sliced Mu into many chunks of flesh. It would vanish into the air as Titan smiled.

Titan took this seriously now as he waved his hand. "Nothing but a puppet for me, he was a skillful one and yet, nothing compares to my new meal in front of me." Saliva filled his mouth, the incantations made him hungry for flesh and a fight.

Astral stood there, his cyan jacket trimmed with gold glimmering the arena. He held up Murasama and pointed it directly at Titan's chest. "Even if this is your weakest form, your strongest form would struggle versus me." Astrals eyes filled with lines, cracking his iris into sections as Titan started to laugh.

"My most powerful form could beat you with both hands behind my back." Titan glared down on him. "I've won this tournament so many times that you couldn't compete with peak me." Titan walked forward the tip of Astral's blade resting on his chest.

Astral and Titan stood in silence, the understanding between the two was clear, the winner would be who showed more control. Astral knew that something different was bound to happen. His peripheral vision filled with Lone and Mike's fight versus Titan, both of which fought Titan without the reward for this entire thing.
