Astral's Rise Part 48: Restock

Astral flew down through the hole he sliced through the atmosphere as a ship blocked his landing on the ground. Landing he looked upward and saw the shuttles split apart and go to their designations for helping the rest of the world. The shrapnel of the ships he sliced through hitting the ground as they pierced the atmosphere.

He would be alone on his conquest. Looking around, he saw the beacon on his map. His fortress of a warehouse was still standing. He saw Zeta still on all cylinders fighting through the mob. Lucky was elsewhere however.

He didn't even notice the swarm of Sacramentum charging in at him. His armor glowed as all he did was click open the Muramasa from its sheath. They all fell instantly as their chunks exploded from their bodies, their blood covering the area.

Astral's glare flooded out. He saw the street and how many of the Tizzle's and Apes were there. In front of him stood an army. He was ready as they tried to stall him. He stood still as the masses in front of him charged at him. They couldn't get close, they died from bullets they couldn't see being fired, Astral's clones were doing work as they were above him firing down.

They stopped in fear as Astral walked forward, they felt fear, the embodiment of death. Astral gave a clone to each side of him a sword. Putting away his Murasama he pulled out a scythe. They ran in fear as the five figures walked down the street.

Something stirred among the street as the clones faded. Astral's weapons go with them in a flash. A walking spider crushing the nearby buildings came at him. The spider sent its first foot down on Astral. Crushing the spot of where he was as the shadows of him sliced the next two legs on the attacking arachnid.

Astral backpedaled a mile as the spider reeled in pain. Staring Astral down it fired a beam of plasma at him. One singular slash dissected the bean from its source as it became severed from the rest of the body. Astral hopped above the spider and swung the scythe through the creature.

His shadow's lingered and took out the front legs. The spider tried to stand on the back four legs as Astral walked down the back of the creature. The scythe and his circular slashes cutting deep. The body of the creature turned to mist with each step Astral took.

Landing on the ground everyone around saw the power. The Tizzles and Apparazza fleeing from his gaze. They all felt the fear from him, but this scythe was different. "Death be on those I consider my enemy, all of those who fear me." Astral spoke out with a swift swing of the scythe. Its shadow slicing through dismembering the Sacramentum on his way to the warehouse.

He smiled and walked along seeing the success of another weapon. He knew he was being watched by every human left alive. He wanted to inspire hope into them. He saw the streets buried with bodies of all. He felt shame he wasn't here to save them.

A couple of blocks away Zeta stood as he was slowing down. With all of the power from the warehouse still coursing through him with short range electromagnetic waves. He wouldn't be able to stop, noticing them all start running for their lives as they finally got the point? No, something scares them.

Astral kept walking until he reached Zeta. Tapping him softly on the leg. "You managed to save them right? Astral pointed to the warehouse, referring to the tea shop and all of their employees

Zeta whirred in glee at seeing his creator. "Yes sir, they are all accounted for. Is it time for exfil?" Astral nodded. Looking over to the warehouse and clapped. The warehouse and its foundation vanished. It reappeared On the Red Merle in the blink of an eye.

Astral looked back up to his companion. "Turn on power saving mode, I not only have another quest for you, but I want you to not burn yourself out." Astral rested his hand on Zeta as the mech felt relief from the fighting. "Now we meet up with Lucky." Astral started to walk forward once more, seeing the callsign on the minimap of where Lucky is.

Walking down the street they heard wailing cries from the lizards as the two of them listened in. They kept talking about their deadline needing to be sped up in order to destroy the planet.

"Zeta, it sounds like we have quite a few things to do." Astral spoke to his mech who agreed. "First matter of business is complete. I evacuated who I wanted to, everyone else is bonus. Lucky will become in charge of the other things weh we see him." Astral pinged his beacon on the minimap for him and Zeta, not too far away.

As they got to the warehouse where the holdout of people were, it was all single fire. They were running low on ammunition and the Sacramentum forces were only growing stronger. They swarmed in greater numbers as Astral and Zeta rushed in. The whirring of rockets sent the area into a landslide. Zeta landed in front of the warehouse as the guns inside ran empty outside of one.

Astral flicked his wrist upward and smiled. He was getting better at spellcasting and reading the tomes. The area around them was covered in a translucent veil. Protecting what was inside from the outside. Astral lifted his left hand and with a flash of light came a shipping container.

Astral stood proud of himself. He saved more people and these looked and seemed like well trained military men, exactly what he needed for his army. Looking to the outside of the veil was the mass of Sacramentum forces, only growing in size.

Having a rock be thrown at him he would catch it. "Now that isn't a way to treat someone who is gonna resupply you and help you all live?"
