Astral's Rise Part 89: Formation

"We did it to come and help you and Jaimie out!" Minn cried out as an overwhelming sense of fear was coming from Astral as everyone felt it. Angel dropped her head in this feeling.

"If you were watching the film, then you realize he had a reason to do this alone, right?" Jaimie tried to ease the tension in the air.

"Why did you go, what makes you special?" Nevada asked as Jame's hand clamped down on his throat. Jaimie and Angel pulled James away as Astral's emotion of anger floods the ship.

"If anyone moves to attack one another while on this shuttle, when we get back to the Red Merle I will personally drill your habits out of you." Astrals tone was dark as everyone stopped moving. "Unlike Jaimie breaking my direct order to join me. You all did not have the necessary rank to all overtake Adam. My wife, however, joined at her own risk. Realize the three of us are in charge first then we break down the other leading units down to you seventeen."

Everyone silently dropped their heads as Airsoft sent a hud hidden message to Astral. 'There was an incident on the planet. I docked half of Dogpound's pay as well as Proto, Omaha, James and Angel.'

'Thank you for informing me, Achilles and I need to have a bonding moment after this if you could arrange that when we land.' Astral sent back to Airsoft as he gave a virtual thumbs up.

'All the forces in the world can't help bad morale. How can we fix this?' Jaimie thought alone in her mind as she stroked James' hair. Giving chin scratches to Angel. It clicked with her. But they need to be away and isolated from all of them.

"Astral, once we get back to the Red Merle, we need to have a talk with Adam and get him on board with an idea I have." Astral gave her a thumbs up as the Red Merle became in view. Their lovely home glistened and gleamed from the nearby stars.

Once they entered the hangar bay Airsoft stood up first. "Alright, Proto, Omaha, Nevada, Minnesota, James, Angel, Hawaii, Mississippi, Carolina, Oregon, Utah and Washington. We need to do paperwork on your incident and get you correctly filed for half pay." Everyone groaned as Achilles was confused. James and Angel looked in shock at Airsoft. "Zane, could you help the twins with their half?"

Zane nodded as he, Sal, Jax and Pete escorted the twins to the northern bridge. "Proto and Omaha, head to the northern bridge and file your paperwork up there. The rest of you head to the south bridge with me to file paperwork." Moans of disgust filled the air as Achilles went to follow them. Astral grabs him.

Everyone outside of the pilot cleared out from earshot as Astral spoke. "You want your throne back. We get that, we will duel shortly for it. Deal?" Astral spoke to him as Achilles stayed silent. Jaimie went outside as she slid Zeta to the side to start working on him. Astrid pops out of the hatch as she is very stiff in her movements.

"So, what is the deal this time?" Achilles asked as he and Astral walked to the hangar floor from the shuttle. Jaimie had started re-welding parts of Zeta as Asrtid was Bringing metal back and forth.

"I land one hit on you and my people are mine." Achilles' tone was dark, he had been practicing these precision movements versus the AI in the training room.

"Cool. And if I knock you out before that you will be binded by magic to be my undying servant and loyal to me. Showing your trust in me and your people trusting me." Astral extended his hand as Achilles shook it. The glow consumed the two hands for a moment as Astral backed up two steps.

"Begin." Astral gave the command as Achilles rushed in. Dodging Astral's opening volley of three attacks as he launched a punch with his right arm.

Astral sent his right leg directly upwards. Sending Achilles into the ceiling with a thud as he fell back to the ground with another loud thud. "I really didn't want to use magic to brainwash him. But it only changes his stance on me." Astral kicked a rock lightly as Jaimie looked over, her helmet fading.

"Don't beat yourself up about it. Magic is great and you have been trying to use it responsibly all things considered." Jaimie shrugged her shoulders as Zeta's colossal form was fully repaired as the mech shifted downwards.

Zeta in his mech form popped up. "I apologize for taking massive damage." Astral rested a hand on the screen.

"Never be sorry for being injured and being hurt." Astral soothed the machine as Astrid slowly started moving better, giving Zeta a hug.

"Don't worry, we will never leave your side and make you alone." Astrid rocked him back and forth as Jaimie had the spare steel ready for his one leg's armor. Astral waved his hand as he put the metal back on securely without welding.

Adam walked in as he saw Achilles knocked out on the ground. "You finally used the vow spell?" Adam walked over and sat down on a chair that he tossed out.

"Yeah, it seems like my only option for now. Hopefully I detailed it enough for it to not do a weird funky rebound." Astral showed the page to Adam as he read it.

"Besides Adam, we have two things to bring up with you." Jaimie handed over a cookie from a pouch on her side as Adam started eating it. "One, Astral and I are going on a honeymoon in the next galaxy we explore. Achilles will be told to serve directly under you and Airsoft will be fine."

Adam nodded his head. It was worth it for the two of them. They have single handedly carried them this far. "Two, morale between the upper sides of the army, the Dogpound, Proto and Omaha, and the twins is tight. I would like you to work on making teams of two to three for an eventual team building exercise."

Adam nodded as he finished the cookie. "I get the next vacation after yours, right?" Astral and Jaimie laughed while nodding their heads.

"I think I already have spots across the next two galaxies, we have to confirm with Red Merle but for now yes." Astral showed a holomap for the three of them. They studied it as the door opened. The pilot was on his way out as Anders charged at them.

"Explain the magic glowing rings at your feet during the fight!" Anders had her clipboard out to take notes as she sat down with him.

"Well, I only have this to say about it. I felt like I could be perfect at anything I tried." Astral eased his mind as Jaimie nodded her head.

"It felt mystical, almost like the circle amplified everything around him to perfection on his side." Jaimie spoke as the two got up. "Now Anders, we have a new galaxy for you to study after we clear it with Red Merle." The two started walking off as Adam smiles.

"I will carry him if you can't wake him up." Adam pointed to Achilles as the two stood up. Astrid and Zeta are ready to follow the doctor and the creative genius to the bridge. Adam picks up Achilles as they get moving.
