Astral would slip into the pocket dimension unnoticed as he made a clone to take his place. Sure time is still paused but it made the hiding of the flash that much easier. Astral pictured the very comfortable bed in front of him. Laying down face first he wrapped himself up in all of the blankets as two figures walked over.
"Hey, there is no reason for sleep just yet." Mike's voice boomed as Astral just flopped away, his back faced him and Lone who would stand there signing on who was going to make him get up first.
"Do you want to find out how to enchant weapons with those bonus mystical properties?" Lone peered over as Astral put pillows over his ears. Lole looked over to the weapon rack. Admiring his work between the two of them.
"Or perhaps you read the tomes more in depth and learn about those magic spells you used and can continue using?" Astral waved his hand as a box formed around the bed. "Yeah, he soundproofed it. Wanna keep playing cards?" Lone nodded as the two walked over to the table.
A couple of days slowly passed as the box lifted from the bed, Astral stretched his arms upward to the sky as Lone and Mike were in the middle of a hand of cards. They looked over, rolled their eyes and went back to their game.
Astral then rolled to his left onto the ground. He felt refreshed, he threw his shirt over to the table as he changed into a new one. Mike looked over. "Oh, this is our grand prize for being in here, a used sweatshirt?"
Astral walked over as he put on his jacket with the black undershirt. Grabbing the amulet that lay on the table. "Nah, I think something like this is much better. What is it Lone?"
"Oh cause he was totally the one to make it. Do your research nerd." Mike leaned back in the chair as Astral pushed it over with the psychic powers. He popped back up and smiled a bit. "So, you got Mu's power as well, outside of my magic, gravity manipulation and cloning, you are perfect for the gods."
"Perfect for the gods, how?" Astral asked as he put the amulet on. It rested neatly on his chest as the gem glowed to become a red color to cyan.
Lone stood up and pointed to Mike. "Hold on a second, let's get him to the point where he can take on everyone but the gods." Lone turned his head to Astral as Mike threw his hands up in anger. "Let me show you a couple of things I did to your weapons and armor." Lone waved his hand to the weapon rack as Astral and Mike followed.
"When is my turn to tell him about the tomes?" Mike asked, hovering above the two of them.
"After Lone shows me this. I can guess this amulet is meant to absorb the elements?" Astral turned around and backpedaled to talk with Mike as they finally stopped at the weapon racks.
Lone lifted up the ax from the rack. "I can't explain it, but each of your weapons had their own calling with enchants. Each one has multitudes, about the same amount as my claymore does." Lone handed over the ax as Astral grabbed it and inspected it.
"So each one of them is more powerful and unique now?" Astral asked.
"Yup." Lone pointed over to the shrine of the two swordsmen. "Those called out to me as well, but in a different way. They asked to be honed. The few enchants added to them should prove useful if you can find their heirs." Astral nodded. Holding Murasama up in its sheath.
"What about this? When I used it in the final fight it felt different. Binding to me in a way I never felt before." Astral took it out an inch as its hue glimmered in the valley of white around them.
"That is the only blade that I've seen that was compatible with almost every enchant I knew. Mike helped me out with even more." Mike smiled and nodded. "With the power you have in this blade it will be more than enough to compete with the strongest that Titan has to offer."
Astral put the blade back on his side. "Back to my original question. The gods, they didn't like you or Mike, why?" Lone held up Astral's reforged helmet. Handing it over with the enchants being seen by the parities.
"We didn't play their game, we didn't cull the masses who wanted to uprise versus them. Why do you think Titan is so loyal to them. He will hunt you down and try to stop you." Mike spoke as the comment clicked for Astral. "That and Overlord is now a threat."
"Wait, Overlord, have you faced him?" Lone asked as Astral was curious too.
"In my tournament, he joined in and devoured everyone and everything, turning everyone but me and Titan into mindless slaves. Titan crushed him in the semifinals as I took one the most powerful puppet in my semifinal match." Mike started and showed the memory to them.
"That is great, but I am going to channel focus on an enchant I found, someday down the line I'll use it, but for now, good luck on your learning." Lone walked away from the two of them as Astral's tomes swayed on his right hip.
"What do you mean good luck?" Astral called out to Lone. "Will you still enchant things and teach them to me?" Astral wanted to know how to do it for the others.
"Nah, you touched me, you can do it yourself now." Lone snapped as the enchants filled Astral's head, making him stumble a bit as the book to use as a guide appeared on the tome ring.
Mike looked at it. "I wonder how many other magical tomes exist?" Mike dozed off as he floated freely around. Astral watched as he sat at the table and set the tomes down. "Well, if you begin to read from the start. Piece it together slowly." Mike pointed along with his reading.
Astral read the tomes, each spell had its own uses. "So, these time spells. Like the clock spell, and the travel spell? I would be using these with creativity, like possible things being used for getting Angel and James' friends. Or just traveling in general?"
Mike sat down. "What once happened must always happen. We both know this." Mike held the glove up for an example. "This will allow for those uses with these spells. Realize that you can't vary the past."
"What if you go so far back, it can't affect the future?" Astral looked over and Mike smiled. "It works in theory if it always happens. Or in areas where no one will be." Mike nodded and Astral pointed to the other spell. "A lot of these dark spells that are binding, how do they function?"
"They either peel off others or they peel off yourself. I once used a planet as my catalyst for an ability, do not feel remorse and the spells won't rebound. But, using them on yourselves would work better."
"As for the time clock, anyone you or your relatives kill, they come back, past or present they can come back by the time lord." Mike stated. "Be careful." Astral nodded as he left once more.
