He made posters about doing a singular magic show to be able to afford a way off of the planet. Once he got a gig he charged a very small amount. Had to be coins though.
Mike would have all four tomes on his waist and a wizard hat shaded like the look of the galaxy. Rings and bands covered his fingers and arms. With a set of bands on his thighs.
The childrens birthday was going amazing. All of the kids were giggling about the powers Mike had, all of the cool tricks he showed them and the box they were able to draw whatever on and be happy.
Within these tricks was the creation of Box Lee. Sentiently powered by the children drawing on him until he turned violent. Hurting many of the kids there leaving many negative reviews.
These reviews caused him to go into isolation. A planet with no other human life. A place where he freely practiced his magic. With all of this practice from his tomes he was able to master it all.
Creating a second sentient creature. Bloom the flytrap. The essence was there already, someone powerful left behind the juice needed for the flytrap to become what it was. A plant that was the planet itself.
He did it to not be as lonely and not to be considered crazy by any outsiders that visited. When invaders did visit Bloom would be apt to take care of them. With this it was a very simple lifestyle. When the gods recruited him. He agreed, knowing he would find someone to pass his knowledge and skills to.
The first tournament he took part in was him on one side and Titan on the other. The two made it to the finals and once Titan tried to stare down Magic Mike it didn't work. "I was looking forward to a rematch versus the armored one from the last cycle. Too bad he didn't show up." Titan looked down to Mike. "You are nothing but a snack."
Mike opened his hands as all of his rings fell to the ground. Consuming his arms in the galaxy. Bloom's flower was budding, it needed five minutes. "You bit off more than you can chew." He would rush Titan and bully him around, punching him with the force of supernova's.
He had to go all out as Titan went from joking to serious instantly. He would counter each punch with a blow of his own. Mike would be pushed back after five grueling minutes as Titan put on the glove.
"Sorry but it ends here." Titan pointed his hand out. "Die." Vines would rush all around Mike, taking the blow
Mike shouted out angered by losing his friend. He didn't need to waste such a precious bulb like this. "ABSOLUTE NOTHINGNESS!" Mike pointed his guns like pistols as they fired beams in the tangled mess at Titan. Vaporizing him and making a hole in the moon and the universe in the path of the beam.
The gods congratulated him. Now he lives forever, realizing the cynical cycle of the universe. Living on his planet made of plant. Just learning more to his magic and how the glove can call any past winners into the tournament.
He was able to watch as Titan won more tournaments and tormented the universe multiple times over, the rule was they couldn't mess with him, this was his weakest version and even then. Mike had a hard time with him.
The cycle felt different this time. A man in clad armor and a lady came to visit his plantet. They would marvel at what happened here and the fact its one giant chunk of biomass. Box Lee saw them first and spoke as Mike was sitting on a chair. "Halt before a winner and my creator."
"We mean no harm." Lone would bow as the lady with him did the same. "Just need to talk to a fellow champion." Mike hopped up putting on the glove as Lone did the same. "It's calling us. Yet we are doing something to be banished by the gods."
"The other champion will be there I assume. But why call us to partake?" Mike grabbed a bud from Bloom as the vines tugged on the girl as she snuggled back.
"A new challenger has entered the fray, but the gods want him to lose. I watched the kid on earth, has talent but needs honing." Lone spoke.
"So they want us to do what, stop him?" Mike's concern grew as Box Lee folded into a piece of paper. Mike grabbed it and slipped it into his back pocket next to Bloom's bud.
"Yes, I have a different plan." Lone's voice held solace and care in it.
"Which is?" Mike stood worried.
"Coal doesn't turn to diamond without pressure." Lone conveyed the message as he held out a polish kit. His blades glided on a whetstone behind him.
"If we had a hard time beating him, what makes you think we can train someone to be better?" Mike was skeptical at best. Not wanting to trust Lone yet.
"If he survives the rounds till us, we can show him what is needed to defeat Titan. He can also hide us in a place the gods can't sense." Lone extended his arm. "Ivy here will look after Bloom."
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." She waived as the vines from Bloom gave an agreeing nod of approval for the girl. "My sisters exiled me for not having as much talent as them. Shame that it's all used to be a happy plant lady."
Mike extended his hand to Lone. "When he fights me, I will take him to the breaking point. If he survives I will simply merge souls with him, the rest is all of your mumbo jumbo that you can fill me in with on our way." They would shake hands as he turned to Ivy.
"Enjoy all the fruits ever, he is really homey and comfy. Feel free to enjoy yourself here. He likes you and I won't say no to have someone take care of him if I do this." He looked in the fourth tome about soul combination. Dangerous and dark magic. "I finally will have a mentee. Good, rid me from this shitty cycle." Lone got a chuckle from this as the two were warped and Ivy was left with Bloom.
