"Doesn't that look lovely?" Jaimie bent down and looked at the shrine as she hung the axs on the sides of the shrine as Angel and James clung to her. Her radiating kindness filled the other two with warmth.
Astral typed in the coordinates into the computer as Red Merle was confused at first. "Sir, this spot has more deep space, are we preparing more resources?" Everyone on the bridge was confused at it as Astral looked at the Ai.
"What happens if we warp there and there is a solar system?" Astral launched the station into hyperspace as Red Merle froze. His star data crossed the entire universe. The air became thin on the bridge as everyone tensed up outside of Astral.
"But if that phenomenon were to happen, I'm certain that you would be amazed as much as I was when I felt it." Astral presses down the communication button. "All forces, we have one month of rest, recovery and development. Enjoy the hard work each and every one of you put in. Now a moment of silence for all the wounded." The station went quiet as Astral asked.
After three minutes Adam looked at Astral. "You are walking directly into a trap, why?" Adam had it figured out. He wasn't quite sure which past planet it was. Having a suspicion of the situation at hand.
"Well, what is the definition of a trap?" Astral looked over as they arrived, taking the place of a planet in the solar system the same size of the Red Merle. "Its meant to draw us in and attack us. We know and they know that we view it as such." Jaimie picked up both James and Angel underneath her arms as Astral walked to the doorway.
"Their issue is, we have the talent to make the trap busted." Astral walked away with Jaimie as the twins were slowly catching on. Achilles and Airsoft motioned to follow as Adam motioned no.
"Where are we going?" Angel questioned as Jaimie made it easier to carry her.
"Home." Astral answered as he brought them to the hangar. He should have a stealth transport ship somewhere.
"Wait, but this is home?" James commented as it melted Jaimie's heart. She set the two of them down as Astral reached out and deactivated the cloaking on the ship. Opening the bay door as the twins were amazed by Astral's creation.
"The planet you were born on, reappeared, we are going down to investigate it." James' ears twitched as Astral waved them aboard. "If our guess is right, the planet should be shortly after you two left." The twins became filled with excitement as they boarded the ship. Lifting off without a sound they were on the planet within the hour.
Once they parked the ship. Astral put a small device on it as it vanished. The four of them were standing on something that came deep from the past. It felt wrong to all of them. "Something feels off. That's normal right?" The twins both ask at the same time.
"Yes, fragments from the past are all disjointed with the current time flow. It throws the balance. The longer we are here the smoother it will get." Astral wiped his hand on the grass as it took a second to move.
"But why aren't they moving slow like the planet or Zane moving his speed?" Jaimie asked as she was confused. The four started walking to the city as James and Angel led the way.
"People are condensed chunks of magic, even if they do suffer its for a moment, not delayed. Moving a planet requires a lot more than a person." Astral smiled as they advanced and made it to the city outskirts in silence. Astral had a baby blue hoodie and black pants as Jaimie wore a green hoodie with black yoga pants. Both of their pendants shining on their neck as they finally put their wedding rings on.
"Lone did a great job touching these up!" Jaimie looked amazed as Astral was happy with the rings. They were perfect for the two of them as they split off from the twins.
"We are going to see if we can't help the hybrid cause. You two catch up with anyone and everyone." Astral waved goodbye as he and Jaimie walked down the street. Angel and James were confused at first.
"But, people should be dead?" James stood confused as they went the other way. Their old hideout wasn't too far as they started walking. Both of them had the feeling that this place was so surreal. For so long they have spent with Astral being here is new.
They turned the corner as someone bumped into them. "Wait a second, I recognize those features! James, Angel, you're alive!?!" The man was ecstatic to see them as he wrapped his arms around the two.
"Wait, Dante!" James embraced his friend in a black leather jacket and two toned jeans. His shades hiding his tears and his comb over hair sitting over his forehead. "It's good to be back!" Angel clung onto Dante as they all felt each other's warm feelings once more.
"Everyone has wondered where you have been, the news said their police unit had you two cornered and you slipped away!" Dante was walking backwards as the three went to the safehouse.
"You guys probably wouldn't believe us when we tell you what actually happened!" James was excited, anticipating the reactions from them all as Angel jabbed him in the ribs.
"Should we be telling them everything?" Angel questioned her brother.
"Why wouldn't you two tell us everything?" Dante asked as he turned down the alley where their hideout was.
"It's a long story and filled with secrets that we shouldn't be telling." Angel followed him down the alleyway.
"And that's why we tell them what we did, not what we know. Once you learn about our dad, it'll click why we aren't saying more." James smiled as he spoke. The door slammed open as a tan looking boy with a white button up, red tie loosely knotted, brown pants and blonde spiky hair looked out at them.
"You found your dad!" The boy shouted as they all rushed indoors.
"Finnick, we should try and keep it down somewhat." Willow pulled him backwards, a tall lady with light brown hair and dark green sweats held him by the collar.
"My bad. I am just happy to see you two are alive and safe!" Finnick tried shaking loose as they all laughed. This reminded them of the past that was never meant to be. They all sat down on the couch as James and Angel told them what they did in the last few years.
