May wouldn't let go of Astral as James and Angel charged in and joined the two in the embrace as Astral took his first breath of the entire fight. "The entire fight he spammed his clones and yet, even in here with me limiting those powers it would have been never enough for him to win."
"Really?" Jaimie asked as she wrapped her arms around them all. "I think we should be happy that we did what we could. Right?"
James and Angel looked at each other. "If we could use this level of stacks permanently, or have a way to get to this point. It would be helpful. Even without the stacks when they took." James stopped speaking for a moment as he realized what still happened. "I took out the forty of them with just rage, I felt like myself again."
May was so confused with the entire situation as she fainted. Astral caught her as Angel nodded with her brother. "So this is our biological mother?" Angel looked at the meep little lady with the rabbit ears as Jaimie hugged the two of them.
"I would understand if you two with your mother being found alive didn't want-" Jaimie started to talk as the other two wrapped their arms around her.
"You are still our mom too." Angel nuzzled her head into Jaimie as she chirped cheerfully. Astral sighed in relief as he looked over to Lone. Lone looked at the gauntlet as it was dissolving in air before them. Giving him a thumbs up it was time for them to slowly get moving to their next destination
Astral pulled all of them out of the pocket dimension to the Red Merle. Looking out a viewing window he saw the reality of what was happening. It was crumbling due to the magical properties that pulled it forward. Like the gauntlet, its colors turned into mist as it separated. Closing the window May slowly woke up.
"Ah, you came back to save us!" May looked over as Astral froze. The planet was still savable, wasn't it? The innocents he couldn't let die just due to negligence by a fool. Astral vanished for a moment as he stood in space looking at the planet as a magic circle formed behind him.
Jaimie charged over to the wall and opened the viewpoint window as the four of them rushed over to watch. Astral was in his suit as his left hand was flared out. Glowing with the singular glove on it.
"You are falling apart due to the binding nature of life. Be held together by yourself and my seal!" Astral shouted as he closed his fist. The mist stopped fading from the planet as it fragmented. Being in hundreds of small chunks on the outside with one solid core remaining.
"Scan the planet with all of our sensors." Astral demanded as his tone was harsh.
"You can't talk to me like that." Alexa was not having any of his shit.
"You want to talk to May, then do it." Astral looked at the seal of the bind as it was unbreakable by any magic.
"Scans show that the planet's outer shell cracked and separated, creating floating islands, those are temperate enough to support life. The inner layer, once filled with water, will act more tropical and have harsher storms. But still habitable." Alexa scurried away from the corner of his sight.
Astral reached backwards and stretched. It has been a long twenty four hours for him and Jaimie as they also had transferred most of the government control to people from the major cities to the country folk. Whatever Mario does now becomes his issue. Astral floated back to the Red Merle as he wondered how much time passed on the station.
Walking onto the northern bridge he was greeted by Adam, Achilles and Airsoft. "How much time before we need to move?" Astral asked quietly as he sat down still in his shorts.
"About two weeks give or take a few hours." Adam looked over. "Any run ins with elite level people?"
"Yeah, we figured out what the seventeen actually is. A collection of the power tournament winners serving the gods." Astral set his legs on the table and pulled a gaming controller over to him to wind down.
"Well, how does it work and do we have any chance at stopping it?" Airsoft asked as he watched the game.
"Not to be a mood killer. But if all of them came at us at once. We would all be dead." The other three fell silent as Astral pressed buttons on the controller being the only sound. "I think they would be the only people possible at cracking into the pocket dimension. With my powers delaying the inevitable is all I could do."
"Lone couldn't help out?" Adam asked. "What about me or Jaimie?" Astral got to a cutscene as he turned around.
"Lone could take down one of the lower ones by himself. He was offered a spot but with his age getting up there. I don't quite know if he has the ability to finish any of them. As for you and Jaimie." Astral turned back around to play his game. "Your flaw can be worked out. By working out more. Hers is the crippling weakness to magic and having no counter to it."
Angel and James walked in as they walked over and sat next to Astral. "As for how to defeat them?" Astral pet the two of them at his sides as he played the game with telekinesis. "Have an idea to catch them off guard. Even then it's still iffy."
"We were told to leave by Jaimie." Angel looked over to Astral.
"She wanted to see if the breed like rabbits thing is just a myth or a real thing. What does that mean?" James looked over as Adam, Achilles and Airsoft lost their cool and started laughing.
"You don't want to know. May will be fine." Astral scratched right behind James' ear as Adam was caught off guard,
"Wait, May as in the maid you rescued and made those two?" Adam looked over as Achilles was confused on who this person was.
"You read that part of the document?" Airsoft looked over as Adam nodded yes. Airsoft lifted his arm as Adam did a high five with him.
"Yes. Finnick pulled her out of a weird portal. Good news is that she is alive." Astral looked to the door as it opened again. This time the Dogpound walked in with all nine members as did Proto and Omaha, they were bickering back and forth between the eleven of them as Zane, Sal, Jax, Neigel, Pete and Laz closed the door behind them.
"Dad, it's time to deal with your delinquent kids." Achilles snickered as Adam and Airsoft laughed. Astral put his hands in his face to conceal his laughter as he stood up and clapped. His normal clothes reappeared on his body.
He turned and counted each of them as he wanted to make sure the numbers worked. "I have had no sleep for the last however many hours. What is the issue? And no, I do play favorites to those two." Astral put his thumbs up and pointed it at James and Angel.
"We all want to go and battle like the rest of your army did." They spoke in unison outside of the clones.
