Adventure of Astral Part 15: Jewelry

"Then what will be your aspirations for the world be?" The first lady on the throne would speak, her red dress with golden accents shimmered as the gem in her tiara reflected the red among the floor.

"You say you have goals when we created unity." The second had a white dress with light blue accents. Her tiara had a diamond located in the center as James tensed up. He sharpened his mind as he was more prepared than they thought.

"You have done nothing but follow our lead for what reason?" The third sit on her throne, covered in yellow scarves with a topaz to match her bright yellow dress. She was giving a scolding look at the two siblings in front of her.

"Because you fear our power or were you waiting for something?" the fourth had a dark blue dress with her tiara holding a sapphire. "You were waiting for someone, or the trauma to fade."

James took a step back as he knew no reason for his patience on the offensive, he didn't remember how long he had been awake for. He shivered as Angel stood motionless. He nudged her with his elbow as her aura flared to life. Both Astral and James became worried. "Angel, hey, sis, say something?" James felt tears rolling down his cheeks as the four queens raised their hands and pointed them at Angel. Angel turned and faced James as she held her hand back to them. Being tossed her spear.

"Dispose of the beast in front of you and you shall be appointed ruler on the same level as us." The four queens commanded as Angel raised the blade of her spear upwards to swing down on her brother, her eyes became cloudy as James stumbled backwards and down onto the ground in fear of what happened. Those cloudy eyes, she has no more memory.

Astral pointed down to Tina as she reversed the spell. Astral broke the ventilation open as he swung down from the ceiling. Landing on top of James as he blocks the spear. Feathers started to float around Angel's head. James flipped up back onto his feet as his gloves ignited with blades. "Not this time, I won't lose you."

"Aww how cute, what a heartwarming family reunion." The red gemmed queen snickered on top of her throne.

"Can we skip the formalities and you all can introduce me to who the fuck you are and why the fuck you want to mess with my family. To me it seems like a bad idea." Astral pointed his free hand at them, knowing their magic surpasses his abilities. He had a feeling they would have a counter to him. They were more than prepared for him.

"We can go by our true names now that you have seen us." The one in red started their show as Angel stood steadfast. Her blade is ready to attack either James or Astral.

"We are the Crown Jewels, five of us who are magical by nature. I am Diamond, but shouldn't you remember me? I know you have killed us several times." She growled at him as he raised his shield to his chest.

"Ruby was the other you would have killed, Topaz my sister is meeting you for the first time as Ivy, well, she can be forgotten about for all we care for." The dark blue lady hopped off her chair as her sisters followed suit.

"Sapphire had a chance to beat you, as she was at that battle but killed by something else." Topaz took off her scarfs as the four all held their hands outward and pointed it at Astral. "Prepare to die, once we kill you we end our cycle and can claim the kingdoms you abandoned for ourself."

"Not by choice." Astral spun his shield in the air as a bolt of lightning hit it. He slammed it into the ground as the tile created a natural shield while grounding the shield. Astral picked it up as Angel swung down on his neck.

James was standing behind Astral and caught the spear. "In order to kill him, you better kill me first." James jumped up and launched Angel backwards and away from the two as he chased her down. Astral saw the earthen wall fall from a wave of water. Astral blitzed them and swung his katana at them as it was short of Sapphire. He felt a pull backwards as the attack pushed him further away. He smiled as he slipped his sword away and thought of a rare item from someone else.

With a flash of light a spear filled his empty hand as he rested it on the shield as the Crown Jewels all looked at each other while Astral hid his look of surprise on his face. The Queens nodded as they sent a barrage of fiery wraiths at him. He rolled away and backwards from the fire as he spun the spear in a circle and halted all the fire in front of him.

They fired a barrage of spells at him as he fell to his knees, he looked down to his chest as he saw what was missing. His necklace. "CATCH!" James shouted as he hurled a small blue orb as the lighting was lighting Astral's veins ablaze. Astral caught it, standing up as their combined efforts were failing to keep him down.

James' smile faded into a groan as Angel sent her spear directly into his abdomen. He knew he couldn't snap the spear as it was theirs from forever ago, made from a much stronger resource than the Queens could muster. Tina slid from the vent as James pulled himself from the spear and caught Tina as he felt his back get slashed open from the spear. Astral rushed in and clambered over the two as he drop kicked Angel into the wall. Rolling back over James and Tina as the four of them send a hurricane at the three.

Astral spun the spear in a circle as he launched a pillar of fire into the ground before the hurricane in front of them. It evaporated into mist as he charged at the four of them. The stab from his spear reached closer than his previous attack. They were impressed that he was breaking their barrier differently than last time.
