Adventure of Astral Part 48: A Lending Hand

All Astral needed was a year to unite the entire hemisphere and create a collaboration of all the combined races. His goals were vast and numerous. He wanted to build a central area where people would be randomly picked to be a sitting member of a senate. While with these senate meetings. The people could see how it operates and how they had to run the country and the world.

The start of it had James and Angel as mediators with Astral as a third. None of those three were equal as all they were are speakers to pass the bills. Peace envoys were sent to the elves as they didn't reply, their silence turned into a game of hiding. Astral expected as much, he was more focused on having good terms with the dwarves. They were content with the mountains and the hills. Having no need for the outside world. Their success was creating underground tunnels to extend to them between the three colonies.

Astral used these openings across the world to network it all together and have the main capital city be that of where he was. The coastal city being abandoned was a shock as he scooped up that as a place of trade. The planet's growth came due to his influence. He guided it and was glad for it. The humans and hybrids began to care for one another all across the continent. He watched as productivity and resources tripled. The population boom allowed for the essentials to become focused on increasing the growth of knowledge and lifestyles.

Sora began to weasel his way into the court circuit and help create the laws all of man should follow. He worked tirelessly on the rules and to make sure those who broke them had the appropriate punishments. He worked as much as he could to win over the people. It worked as much as it could have while under Astral's nose. Astral couldn't have a care less in the world as he was focused on the rest of the planet.

These wide sweeping goals were to limit demon presence and still stay on the offensive in case anything else extreme happened. Astral was shrugging it off as with him there, the planet is in the safest hands it will ever be in. The time he spent not working on new things however was a different challenge.

He worked on spells with Tina at least once a week if not more. He was able to work through some of his shortcomings, his spellcasting became more consistent as a floor. The ceiling was unmatched, however it's one of those things where he only has his limits to be not passed with. He enjoyed these magical practices and matches. They had their counters to each others styles and were able to practice at each weak point they had to improve.

On the weekends he would spend it with just James and Angel. He was long overdue with family time for the two. He was happy to endure these issues with the two of them. They were a great help to his natural sense of mind. They would spend the weekends traveling in the nearby towns and villages. Helping them around the town and working for the people.

The last month after everything was rebuilt let Astral roam and do nothing. His retirement was easy as there still was no way for him to access the internal documents. Each one was blocked by his own codes. At the point where he has tried every number combination possible he still falls short of having access.

What truly puzzled him was his meditations at night. Each one of them was too quiet. All it was, is a simple quietness that felt uneasy. He expected voices to be talking to him. Its abnormal to expect, but with his past he is due to see it and have it happen to him. This eerieness was broken one night out of random. He saw the pocket dimension and all of the stars across the universe.

"What is this place?" Astral ran his hands through the sky as the stars all shifted around him. This quiet place, it was never quite as beautiful as it was at this current time. He glanced around at all of the galaxies floating around him. Their nebulas showing all the colors he has yet to see in a very long time. "This is a guide, accessed through the pocket dimension isn't it?" The stars sparkled and twinkled as Astral saw another thing.

He heard several voices screaming over each other. Each one asking for him, they called his name out into the emptiness of space as it hit Astral, he was watching the epicenter of what happened. He looked out across the galaxies as he saw the one calling his name. He watched it as small speckles of explosions were going off all around the galaxy. Flashes of light went off but nothing quite exceeded the finale. A wave of golden energy covered the entire galaxy as it washed through the universe. Before coming back inwards and imploding into a violent array of colors. Green, red, yellow, blue, lime, gray, pink, purple, black, white, cyan. All of them expanded outwards as he watched where they went. He was jolted awake in a cold sweat, as if he saw something he wasn't supposed to see.

He looked around the throne room as there was no one around. He shut the curtains as the moon glimmered far above the city. He double checked the room once more and went to the door. Locking it a second time over with his enchantments. He looked to the center of the room as he extended his hand. "Reveal the gap. Take me to the place I belong." a white circle formed on the ground as Astral stepped through it. He landed on the pure white floor as the hole above him closed. He was now in here and realized he had no way out for the moment. The perfect spot of peace and quiet.

He saw a singular table, square by shape with all sorts of electronic components on its sides slanting downwards. He walked over as it fired to life. The pocket dimension was at its full access once again. Astral started to type away at the console as he read up on his profile, between the stuff and the fights that were still redacted behind a higher clearance than his, he used this time to display the universe once more. He realigned it with the time when he was defeated and tracked where each color went. Even with the passage of time, some of them have vanished. While others were right in front of him.
