Melody: Legatee of Flute

They were at the edge of the garden.

There were four benches arranged in a circular pattern.

In the middle was a one-foot-size green lotus. It was sitting on its big, dark green leaves that looked like an agave plant. It was planted on a circular, elevated plot of land with green grass. It was a mutated lotus that could survive on land.

Behind the benches, there were curved white bars that protected the plants and trees. The trees provided shelter on benches and fresh air.

A gentle wind blew on the trees. The branches with emerald green leaves were swaying, and the long hair of Melody was also swaying.

Edgar looked at the girl, who was hugging her zither.

"I am Edgar."

Melody raised her head and faced him, who was sitting on her right side.

"I am the man you saw in your world—the world created by your music."

Melody looked shocked.
