Chapter 5

The first errand was to her servants who lived two blocks away. The wind unsettling, blowing violently. Trees were dancing viciously while tge dust waved in the air massively; Gogo seemed not to be affected by the terrible weather, she walked slowly on a craggy path that led to a yard accommodating two african huts.

Grown weeds, bush trees and thorn branches surrounding the yard. It seemed no one lived there; yet It was a home of the aged couple. For months Gogo had been able to possess by controlling their minds to do her a much needed deed.

She strode to the mud hut and the door opened automatically. She stepped into a mattress that had popped out springs. Old torn blankets and pillows scattered on the floor. A miserable wardrobe at one corner the other corner occupying two arm chairs facing an old television model.

The couple stood silently at the center, as if life had been drawn-out of them. They kneeled and bowed for Gogo when the door shut behind her.

"Do you have it?" That was Gogo greetings, and the couple responded with a nod. "Good. Now let's get on with it."

The couple ushered Gogo to the second hut that was used as a kitchen. Two plate stove, a set of old cupboards, a refrigerator and a small table filling the space. The table occupied a bathing basing; inside it had what looked like a human heart. The aged man grabbed it, displaying it to Gogo. She nodded then the aged woman removed the basing while the man put the organ on the table. Gogo cut the organ in two halfs with a sharp knife, then squeezed blood into her mouth before giving the couple to eat them.

The couple consumed the organ as Gogo gulped the blood. The couple groaned and grumbled, falling down to the floor. As they gasped laboriously, Gogo was chunting loud. A minute later or so, there was silence, blood dripping out of their mouths. Shortly after, the couple rosed from the floor, their eyes glazing black.

Gogo had successfully evoked the demon in both bodies. A demon of life and reproduction.

"Aamon" Gogo hailed the demon as she went down on her knees.

"Why have you summoned me?" Aamon's demonic voice came from the aged man.

"I humble request the return of my powers" said Gogo."A new born shall be the sacrifice. A vessel of your internal existence."

"I'm not seeing any baby around here" the voice came from the aged woman.

"Soon it will be born."

"If you fail me I will withdraw your powers and take over that body" the voice came from the woman again.

"I shall not disappoint you."

The couple thumped on the floor once again, this time breathless, and Gogo's skin was digesting the powers: Dark blood running on her veins, eyes glazing black and the hair turning wiry and fragile. She released an impressive demonic laughter.

"Lesalukwazi sisangene ekhanda" said Zizwe after knowing what Gogo wanted from him and Carol.

He was gazing at the blustery wind outside the window in the dining room. Making a child knowingly he wasn't going to have a chance to father him/her, only to be taken away for a sacrifice for some power of witchcraft, was something Zizwe wasn't willing to accept.

"Are you really considering to do this, Carol?"

Carol on the sofa glanced at him with a frown, and she said, "What choice do we have Zizwe? The lives of people we love are at stake."

Then something suddenly occurred on her mind. Paranoia. She presumed Zizwe found her unattractive or a woman he doesn't desire to be a mother of his children.

"You don't want to have a child with me, is that it?" Temporary anger got the best of her. "Is that the reason you don't want to do this?"

"What?" Zizwe turned away from the window. He walked towards the sofa and sat besides her. "Carol, you're the best thing that have ever happened into my life. A fresh breath of air. There's nothing more I want than to have a family with you. Everytime when I see you or being with you my feelings are always evoking."

Suprised;delighted, Carol couldn't remember any man to ever have told her the kind of words that made her feel special and love wanted. What astonished her the most, Zizwe had never looked at her the way he did. His eyes were burning with love.

"So.. y-you have feelings for me?" She asked.

Zizwe agreed with a nod. "It been a while now since I have. I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want you to think I'm taking advantage of your kindness. Thinking you're in love with me just because you were being nice."

"Nonsense. I also feel the same way about you" Carol said honestly.

It came as a shock to realise it was the first time having a conversation about their feelings for each other. All this time they been there, invisible, never spoken out. They beamed at each other feeling the wonderful relief.

They got close to each other. Lips meeting for the first time. The meeting was warm and long. Discussions and theories deep and satisfying. Like it'd been years waiting for this devout moment. It was a moment the situation of Gogo no longer mattered, buried far away from their current heartful feelings.

Carol wrapped her arms around his neck, enjoying his sweet chocolate flavored lips. He cupped his hands on her waist, loving her thick rich lips. The presentation of the meeting caused both of their genital organs to ablaze with excitement. When the meeting was adjourned, it was time for a private session in the office. They both rosed from the sofa and went to his bedroom.

The sexual activity had been real and mutual. Orgasms brief and pleasurable. It had been Zizwe's first time for pounding and grinding. For years pleasing himself with masturbation fantasizing demons he finally had done it in reality. A reality of someone he always wanted to be his first. It was just as good as masturbation, but not as wonderful as entering her hot succulent vagina, grilling his manhood delightfully. The tightness of it was like it never been used.

"I never imagined for this day to turn out like this" said Carol.

She layed on his chest stroking the tip of her fingers on his biceps.

"That was really great" said Ziwe.

"I enjoyed it too" said Carol flashing a smile.

"Let's go again."

"Already? It haven't even been a minute."

"I guess I haven't had enough of you."

"Imagine Gogo walking in on us" Carol chuckled.

She'd meant to have a sense of humor, but the joke had brought them back to the immoral reality, ablazing off the intimate mood. They both sat on bed and leaned against the headboard, Carol covering her breasts with a blanket. Gogo once again assembled distressedly in their hearts.

A few moment of silence, Zizwe's expression changed to a wide-eyed animal. Something had popped into his mind. A memory of his late mother mentioning something valuable. Something that was going to free them and Aneliswa from the witch.

"My mother" he said as he glanced at Carol.

"What about her?"

Zizwe had a flashback of her mother, hospitalized before she died minutes later. She had a resemblance of Aneliswa. The angular face that had tiny lips that whenever they spread into a smile would be heavenly.

"I need you to listen to me. There's a small box that I buried behind the old toilet" she had said. "After my grandmother's tragic death, my mother believed it wasn't the end of her. That's she'd find a way to come back to life, perhaps in a body of a family member. She always suspected it'd be me, so she managed to find what was accurate for her banishment. Holy water."

Zizwe's mother had difficulties to breath that moment. Inhaling and exhaling heavy breaths. But she had managed to continue for a little longer "Now I fear for Aneliswa. If my mother was right, that time really comes, you'll need to protect her. Save her from that witch. That holy water will help you. Do you understand me?"

"Zizwe, how could you slip your mind on something important like this" Carol was astonished. "You realize if you didn't remember this now it would've been probably too late if you did later. Let's hurry and go dig up that box."

Zizwe gave Carol his warm raincoat to wear. The wind invited an unforgiving cold. Behind the old toilet, it was now a home of a small bush of weeds; it wasn't hard work to remove them with a slasher and a garden hoe. So as digging the soft ground with a pickaxe and a shovel, taking them less than an half an hour to get the job done.

They retrieved a small rusted steel box, similar to a tool box and they took it back in the house. The weight of it was light. The unlocked locker making it easier for them to have access. A 2ltr soda bottle was stashed inside. They took it and observed the holy water, identical twin of ordinary water. The only difference about holy water was that it had been blessed by a member of the religious figure or it had been derived from a spring considered holy. It was commonly used for baptism, spiritual cleansing and against evil, which was the case of their situation.

"Well, did your mother tell you how to use it? Said Carol.

Zizwe crumbled his mind for a second. She didn't get a chance to mention how to operate the water for banishment. The difficulty of breathing had gone worse where nurses had to come and give her oxygen. Sadly it was the end of her time in this world.

He shook his head, "She didn't get a chance to."

"That's okay" said Carol as she saw a sad expression forming on him. "I think I might have an idea of how we're going to use it."

In the late evening around seven, flames of the bonfire were glittering on Gogo's eyes, burning the corpses of the aged couple.

"Being see you soon my friends" said Gogo as she turned and walked away from the fire, leading the way to her second errand.
