Finders Keep, Losers Weep

Just like what Milan spotted from a distance, the people began to see the boat headed their way. It looked battered as if it was slapped by the waves and stones on its way to the island. Ferries were not allowed to dock in their harbor, so they didn’t know what this thing was doing there. Soon enough, they all realized it was merely drifting through the waves.

Milan didn’t even have to move from where he stood. The sheriff and the fishermen had their own initiatives to make the boat stop. It’s just that it was big enough to fare well for sea travel. They just didn’t know why the captain decided to dock on their island.

“I don’t think it’s going to stop.” Martin glared at the boat. It was not even trying to fight the waves that pushed it close to the docks. There might even be a collision.
