I Think It's Goodbye Now

When the winds blew, Milan feared for the security of his aerial silks. They were not the most durable; neither were they fixed to fight against strong winds. It was just that… the winds were coming from Lasair for sure. The winds cradled Milan and helped him carry out the stunts needed for the play.

The orange cloth that served as Bainadum’s breath also flailed in the wind, but they were torn into pieces. At one quick whip, the cardboard cut-out got the head sliced off cleanly. The people holding it were shocked that they only dropped the creature altogether.

Milan laughed before glancing in the direction of the audience and the terrified Esperanza. He then secured himself with the silks and reached out to invite her into a carry. For the sake of the production, Esperanza didn’t refuse him even if her heart was pounding inside her chest.

More when the aerial silks came undone from the branches!
