The Wolves of Bainadum

“No, we didn’t have enough time. Dr. Campbell attended to the dead humans, while Dr. Bloodworth attended to the living. Lasair is too small for people to have free time. Is there something we missed?” Milan hummed as he watched the detective closely.

The detective handed the forensic investigator the tools he asked for. “I’m not an expert, but I don’t think those eyes are canine. Please give it a more thorough look, doctors.”

Since there were two eyes, Rion and the investigator did what was asked. They both pulled back a little and looked at each other. The investigator then said, “These eyes only had two eyelids, and they are coated with a watery substance. Oh, my God… how is this even possible?”

“Your Innocence, I’m sorry for missing it for so long…” Rion looked up at Milan. “These wolves… seem to be human beings. However, I don’t know what could have turned them into looking like these. They… Could they be werewolves?”
