0.2.8 Light at the tunnel's end

Adjusting to the white blindness, I looked around to asses the situation. Kartik came back from the panels saying as he wiped the sweat of his face, "Haa, F*ck it's hot. Okay, the lights are on, but we don't have much energy reserves, So let's catch up quickly. First things first, you Lady, you must have an access card that you used to open the door from inside that room right?"

We all turned to look at the lady, she was wearing a grey office suit and had a naturally troubled expression on her face. She looked no older than 23 years, but her eyes were one of that who has been through all walks of life, such an intresting contradiction.

"I .. I do have a card. What do you want with it? It's with me so it must be my card." The lady said with a tired demeanor.

"Of course it's yours, but if you and us alike want to get out of here, we need the the specific key, that card has, to undo this lockdown. So please hand it over." Kartik stated patiently.
