The Struggle

Lucy, Zyana and the other three legion { Demon of death, Demon of lie and Demon of seduction} demons were struggling to find a spot to hide and retreat from their mission but all hope seemed lost because it was as though the demons in the clan planned and waited for them to arrive before surrounding them, they knew it was a lost battle for them because the caliber of demons there cannot allow them to escape so struggling would make it worse. The demon of death aggressively suggested that they put forces together and strike one angle, that way they can easily run from that point because according to him, its best to die fighting than just surrendering to still be stripped and sent back to the master for eternal punishment. They collectively agreed to fight back and look for a way out of it.

The first 20 sets of demons attacked them with different weapons and enchantments but with collective efforts of the demons of Lucy, Zyana and the legions they were able to subdue those attacks, but the more they were on the defensive, the more the attacks kept on coming to them, sadly they didn't the those initial attacks were strategic to ascertain their position, strength and weaknesses, then they failed for the tricks. The more they dodged, the more the other demons sap from their strength and little by little they started feeling weary until they were all captured and moved to the prison of Exile; the prison of exile is a prison for demons, your powers cannot work there, you keep losing strength there until nothing is left of you but bones.

While they were captured and held against their wish, the master appeared in a thick furnace around the encamped site, he gave an instruction that Lucy's body should be destroyed and her soul must be sent to purgatory to meet with him, the master. For the other demons like Zyana, Death, seduction and Lie, they should be left in the prison of exile until they lose all their strength before permanently taking their powers away from them, then they can be casted out to the wild where they can never have access to ancestral powers again, they will suffer till they die and when they do, they will return to purgatory and continue the suffering under the watch of the master himself.

The Legion called death and the other demons were separated in different prisons so that they wont even think of merging their powers together and attempt escaping but something seemed odd in the whole process and it was as though Zyana and Death noticed it. How could they have known that we were coming to the St Mary's orphanage? And how did they figure out our plans from the beginning to the end? Death thought within himself as Lucy was dragged out after the cell suppressed her powers. Zyana on the other hand could only trust Lucy because Lucy cannot subject herself to such pain and still betray them. The seduction legion started attempting to use her seduction powers but the more she tries, the more she loses her power, and the more she loses her power, the more she gets weary and tired.

Lucy was dragged outside and over 200 demons were there waiting to feast on her human body before sending her soul to the mastery who awaits patiently for the disobedient child, they had knives for cutting her, they had bowel for milking of her blood and they have fire woods for burning of her body so that she won't ever have to come back in that form or body again. Lucy could only imagine her beloved body been set aflame and she knew that she could not do anything about it because her powers were down and even if her powers were intact, she could not do anything significant against over 500 demons both seen and unseen. She was about murmuring when she realized that she could be seeing Jude again, the thought of his calone, his sensual gesture and articulated fanatism made her to giggle. She could build eternal relationship with him and they could achieve so many things together. Just as she was thinking about Jude and imagining vain things, one of the demons came to her and told her what they will be doing to her, she was told that they will not kill her instantly because " pain is joy". Lucy knew her fate even before the process of destroying her body hence why she continued to think about Jude because that way she won't feel the pain and anguish until she dies. The first cut Lucy received was from her toe, blood gushed out as the demons celebrated as though they were feasting on something different, the placed their bowels to fetch her blood and then they danced around her.

The next cut Lucy got was from her bare back, she screamed with rage and then instant panic as the shock from the cut hits her brain in a manner she has never experienced before, then she let out a loud cry but the more she cried the more the other demons enjoyed it because '' Pain is sweet '', the third cut that Lucy got was her laps, it was so deep that the demon became angry that she will die before they finished enjoying themselves so they tied the wounded part of the leg so as to keep her awake and alive till they are done enjoying her blood.

Zyana could hear the scream of lucy from the outside of the building but could not do anything because her powers were taken away and she can't use it in the phoenix prison. She started thinking of strategies to get herself and Lucy out of the situation but nothing tangible came to her mind, then she heard her name from death and she answered angrily because she felt it was Death and cohorts that sold them all out.
