While the Tier 1 to Tier 5 mages were expecting a clash between Alec and the Tier 6 mages, nothing of the sort happened, instead, the Tier 6 mages walked toward Alec with smiles on their faces.
“Young master, my name is Gabriel. I’d just like to ask you a couple of questions, don’t worry, it won’t be much of a bother,” said the Mid-Tier 6 mage, as he stepped forward.
Alec was taken aback, as he had expected them to react with outrage, perhaps even more aggressively than the Tier 5 mage he had just knocked out.
Yet, they were more composed, even reasonable, and since they were handling the situation calmly, he saw no reason to act out of place.
“No problem, ask away,” Alec said as he moved toward them to meet them halfway.
As no matter how confident he was in his ability to defeat them, they were still his seniors.
As he looked at each of the Tier 6 mages, he noted that they were all past their youth, likely over thirty.
