The impact was immediate, the Low Tier 7 Agility-type zombie lunged, slamming its claws toward Alec. In response, Alec swept his right hand forward, summoning seven layers of earth shields in rapid succession.

This wasn’t just an ordinary Low Tier defensive spell anymore, it was one of his most advanced techniques, which had now been refined to the mid-tier rank, and the once rough, rocky shields now gleamed with a polished, brown earth hue, their surfaces smooth and reinforced.

The more mana he poured in, the more layers stacked up, but even at his limit, he couldn’t push beyond the seventh shield.
