"How did you find me?" Azakiel asked, he scowled from an expressionless face.
"My two friends here prayed for me. The girl is a prophetess, his connection to me is stronger, stronger than cellular phones." Viriel responded with a hint of humor.
"You are in a losing team, Viriel. Even with a prophetess with you. Kragus employs the oldest among the prophetess." Azakiel struck a smile but the worry was still on his expression.
"Why did you side with Kragus, Azakiel?" Viriel asked. His voice was still calm, trying not to provoke a fight against the other angel.
"I grew tired of watching these humans prosper and sin grows wildly. These humans deserve a lesson and suffer punishment. I could not understand why Arkeus did not invoke a global cleanse to create a world anew, free from sin." Azakiel said.
"It is true. Sin is growing but it does not give Kragus and his minions the right to destroy the world. Genocide is not always the answer Azakiel, you know that. Sins will grow back with proper guidance. Didn't we learn that lesson already? There are many ways to teach humans. The Earth god is aware of how this world turned into, but there are things that humans are capable to discover."
"What Earth god? Nebirus is dead. His presence did not exist anymore." Azakiel was still skeptical about Nebirus' existence. "For Centuries we never heard him or feel him."
"I saw him with my own eyes. That's why I got these powers in the first place," Viriel defended, referring to his capability to control earth plants and could weaponize them.
"Still doubt it." Azakiel shrugged. "You just deceived me in our first encounter. Kragus also doubts your power being blessed by Nebirus. It was the prophetess, she made me believe that you could control earth plants."
Viriel sighed.
Viriel saw darkness in the eyes of Azakiel, a darkness capable of inflicting death with extreme prejudice. Espionage was the greatest threat that Azakiel could offer to Kragus, he could provide vital information on how to topple the Heaven world's defenses and all the activities of Angel warriors. Kragus could slip into portals without being noticed, given with proper timing and information, it's possible.
Viriel ceased to argue and decided it was better to show than tell. A green energy aura appeared in Viriel's palms. His arms were half-lifted into the air, palms facing the sky.
Viriel's eyes glowed white, his pupils engulfed by it. The ground started to vibrate and grew into a tremendous tremor, the waves were wildly slamming to the port, as if rebellious to their nature. The wind blew harder and colder, carrying the saltness of the seawater.
The port pavement started to crack beneath their feet. With a hint of awe, Azakiel took steps back farther enough to create significant space. The power carried danger and struck a bit of fear in the angel Azakiel.
The cracks continued until large crevices appeared on the floor. Vines emerged from beneath the pavement like various snakes and crawled at incredible speed. The vines were large like pythons and leaves sprouted in the vines' bodies, sharp and pointy.
The traitor had a shocked expression.
The vines continued to crawl fast towards Azakiel, fast enough like thrown spears. Azakiel had no choice, feared that his barrier could not hold such power, and evaded the attack as he jumped farther away from his previous position.
The sharp tips of the vines missed a few inches of Azakiel's legs in mid-air, then clashed on a nearby concrete structure, crumpled like paper as the vines went through and debris and dust particles were flown everywhere.
The quietness of the port was replaced with clattering boulders of cement and the humming sound of continued tremors.
Azakiel had no choice but to fend off these attacks with the power he had. He summoned his weapon, and a ball of light appeared in his hand but instead of white, a mixture of red smoke-like ether orbiting the bright light.
Viriel sensed a different power, revolting from what he used to experience. The light grew larger and the red smoke gradually transformed itself into a sword. A fire-like aura engulfed Azakiel's body. The cold breeze became heat and blew wildly in random directions.
"What have you done!" Viriel screamed. His voice was almost inaudible brought about by the whistling wind.
"If you are truly blessed with Nebirus, then I am too by Kragus." Azakiel laughed maniacally.
The essence of an angel vanished, transforming into a Demon. A few meters from where Azakiel stood, pavement and objects started to burn, within a controlled radius. The white and silver sword, before, became a mixture of red and black, like burned metal melted to a horrendous design.
The fire started to creep along his forearm where he grasped his sword. Azakiel grimaced in pain, then laugh alternately, as still adjusted to the new power he possessed. His eyes matched the powers emanated from his arms.

Officer Sho was emaciated on the floor. Never had he felt such tremendous inhuman powers and it was way beyond his comprehension. Angels, demons, and an angel becoming a demon. He had lived all his life not believing in any beings from other worlds, only science. But today, he witnessed everything to believe in unworldly beings.
He had grown without no divine being to praise, only the divinity possessed by the humans. He believed that the Universe provided everything, and the creation of life started naturally through science as what they were taught in school.
Everything he knew was a lie, divine beings were true, not only angels but demons too. He dropped his gun to the ground and was utterly shocked by everything he witnessed. He was uncontrollably trembling and his breathing cycle increased and so was his heart.

Now, the distance was significantly far enough that the grenade's blast couldn't reach. The Harbinger started to grasp all the grenades into his hands. He could not imagine the immeasurable damage these two Angels could have if they pursued their qualms.
"Viriel, this has to stop! Much is at stake if you continue to fight!" Dreygo screamed against the noise of the environment. Their fight would draw so much attention and invite the local authorities. They could be potential collateral damage.
"You are right, Dreygo!" Viriel responded.
"What you have are enough to create a diversion." Viriel continued. He referred to the grenades.
Azakiel was still disoriented by the power he released. Azakiel felt pain as his face grimaced every time the flames surrounded his body.
"Throw it Dreygo!" Viriel screamed.
Dreygo took the pins out and threw the grenades toward the transforming angel. Three metal balls bounced a few times and they ceased right beneath Azakiel's toes. Preoccupied, Azakiel was not able to realize the threat beneath him before he could react.
Boom!
The blast was tripled delivered by the three grenades that exploded at the same time. Azakiel's body felt the blow and threw him a few meters away from his previous location, crashing against empty container vans piled nearby.

The blast temporarily blinded him and his hearing rang. His balance was disoriented. The flames were still eating his skin, and the pain was still present overcoming the pain that loomed on his lower body delivered by the explosion.
Azakiel turned everything off. His sword vanished into thin air. The burning was now distinguished and the flames engulfing his body ceased. Everything turned into smoke in the process, invading the place. There was a sudden quietness and Azakiel felt their presence no more. They had escaped.
