Betrayal

Agrio was standing forth against Han Helena. Although Omina read a lot about Legions and the Council, he had minimal information about Han Helena. He only knew that Han Helena was the killer of the previous Void Legion, Narren.
Omina was about to witness a battle between 2 strong Hosts. One was the Host of the Wrath King Genaz, other was the previous Host of the Extend. He couldn't hide his excitement. Omina hid behind a box and started watching them.
The air was thin. Agrio had a solid stance, while Helena's was loose. It was Agrio who made the first move. Without using any skills, he rushed and punched the ground where Helena was. The ground exploded into small rock pieces, but Helena was nowhere to be seen. Agrio with his battle instincts immediately realized where she was; on the roof of a building.
"You are still the same Agrio. You could have finished me there if you used a skill."
"What is the fun in that? I can't face a strong opponent like you every day, If I don't make the most of it and kill you immediately, that would be bad for me." Said Agrio, and jumped to the roof to throw another punch at Helena.
Helena was very calm, she sighed and started making weird moves with her hands.
"I would like to fight with you, but Narren sealed off all my skills except Void Style, so I am going to finish this right now."
"Void Style, Ultimate Skill: Eclipse Spear."
Helena's right hand became filled with purple light. She stabbed Agrio with her right hand. There was a massive hole in Agrio's body, but Agrio was smiling.
"Did you forget that I am one of the toughest people in the world? You piercing through me won't have any effect on me."
"You are the one who forgets, Agrio," said Helena. Her hand was still shining. "Void Style's core is the purple light that emerges when Darkness and Light connect, which is also known as the Big Bang." Helena moved her right hand from inside Agrio to upwards, Slicing his torso and head. "Big Bang destroys everything it comes in touch with. You are several times stronger than me, but you are still acting like a child. You are too strong, that is why you lost."
Agrios body slowly fell to the ground from the roof. Omina couldn't believe his eyes. Agrio was one of the strongest Legions, yet he was defeated with a single skill. He was looking at Agrio's lifeless body with shock when a man in the hoods arrived at the scene. He looked at Omina first, then saw Agrio's lifeless body.
"Oh, Lord! Sir Agrio, who did this to you?" Man rushed to Agrio's corpse. Helena jumped from the building and approached the man.
"Identify yourself."
"Counsellor No 72, Extend Trainer." Because of Helena's presence, the man thought it was another Legion, so he immediately named himself.
"The kid in the back is the user of Extend, he is in your care now. Don't worry about Agrio, although his wound is fatal, he will probably wake up as if nothing has happened in a few minutes." After that, Helena turned her face into Omina and said:
"We will come for you later to take my powers back. There can be only one Extend Host." After saying that, Helena vanished.
Alfred woke up in an alleyway. This was not Zeglis, Alfred knew all the alleyways in there. It was another town, he assumed. The last thing he remembered was his fight with Omina. What happened to that? He had no idea.
"So you finally woke up, Han Alfred." A voice was heard. There was nothing visible in Alfred's surroundings.
"I am speaking in your mind silly, don't try to look for stuff!" The voice giggled. He remembered some of the things that happened when he was unconscious. This thing took over its body.
"What are you, what you did with my body, what do you want from me, how did you get in me? Tell all of this. If I sense a single deceit in your words, I am committing suicide. That would also kill you I assume."
"Hey, chill. I am on your side. Although I like your bravery I have to say. I will tell you everything, just calm down a bit, okay?"
Alfred was still suspicious, but he remembered the angry-looking dude calling this thing Han Helena. It had 'Han' in its name, meaning it's some kind of relative of Alfred. Knowing this, he calmed down and started listening to the Soul.
"Okay, you can refer to me as Helena. When I was human my full name was Han Helena, but I will come to that later. I am your..." the voice stopped for a minute and started mumbling some stuff. He thought for a while, and continued; "sister, I think? I don't know who your mother is. Anyway, more on that later. Twenty years ago, I battled with a scary-looking dude who used the Void Style, and he kind of sealed all my powers except the Void Style. That is how I helped you escape from there."
"Who said I wanted to escape? I accepted my fate there, you just interfered with it."
"Well, I know your life was kind of shit, but it will get better starting from now on, I promise. Anyway, back to where I was. It seems my powers have the same attributes as the Extend, Although right now I can only use the Void Style. You can also use what I know, so technically you also know the Void Style. We will train later about this stuff, but use the Void Style only as a last resort. It is a two-edged blade, you will kill yourself before you kill the threat."
Alfred noticed a strange pain in his right arm. When he checked it, his right arm's skin was burned entirely. It was hurting, but not much.
"That happened when I was fighting the angry dude. He was so strong, I had to use a dangerous move. You see, I am experienced with the Void Style, so when I use it, you get away with burns and scars. If you would try to use something like Eclipse Spear, you would immediately destroy your arm."
"You are so sure of yourself even though you fucking burned my arm. Anyways, continue."
"Okay, so, let me talk about Extend and Souls so you understand what I say. Souls have six tiers, they are tiered based on their potential. Tiers are Soldier, Commander, General, Lord, King, and God. A Soldier and A God Soul start at the same power level, however, their potential is vastly different. You can make a Soldier Soul reach its full potential in half a year, but making a God Soul reach its full potential requires so many years. The only full potential God Soul right now is the Dragon God Naga, and it required more than six hundred years. They passed the Soul to others via rituals I think, that is how they trained it."
"Okay, thanks for the lesson. What about the Extend? What does it have to do with me and you?"
"Extend on its own, is the weakest Soul. Even weaker than a Soldier. Normally Souls have only one Type, but Extend has all the Types, even the undiscovered ones. You only need to see the Type and skill in action once or twice, then you can copy it naturally. It's as easy as breathing, you will see what I mean soon. However, only a few select individuals and the Han bloodline can use the Extend. A mysterious group has been killing the Han bloodline to prevent Extend from finding a Host, but that Omina dude was skilled enough to make it as the Host. That's why earlier today you were caught in the ceremony, they were trying to catch and kill you."
"Han bloodline? I thought I was an orphan since I was abandoned."
"Yeah, Han bloodline. It's the bloodline to which Extend hosts belong. After I died, there wasn't a single Extend user that came from Hans'. That was because they were killing the teenagers when they reach sixteen. An assassin also came after me when I was 16, but I managed to kill him somehow with a knife. I don't know who your mother is, but your dad is most likely Han Taeril."
Alfred immediately recognized that name. Taeril was a famed warrior that served the army and accomplished all military achievements.
"Taeril is my old man? Isn't he like, supposed to be dead by now? I heard his stories in the tavern, they told me he was more than a thousand years old."
"Well, I don't know the certain answer myself, but it has something to do with his Soul, that is for sure. Legions don't age because they make a pact with the Prime, leader of the Holy Council, but that is not the case for other living beings. No matter how strong you are, you can't overcome aging. At least that is what it is supposed to be like."
"Well, it's good that now I know about this Soul stuff and my family, this still doesn't answer my question. What are you doing in my body and what do you want from me? I wanted to die there, I have no goal to keep living on."
"I don't know, this is your power now. Do what you want, but don't kill yourself. That is pitiful."
"I am nothing but pitiful Helena."
Alfred sat in the alleyway and Helena stopped talking. What was he going to do now? Keep on living like this? Now that he knows he can be a strong figure if he tries, he doesn't have to struggle. Should he just continue being a thief?
It started to rain heavily. Alfred didn't even try to get somewhere safe. He just stood there, getting soaked.
After a while, he saw a figure approaching the alleyway. It was dark, so he couldn't see his face.
"Hey Al, glad you're doing alright." He immediately recognized this voice. It was Craig. Normally he would be happy, but he was suspicious.
"Sup C. Glad you managed to escape."
"I know right? Someone saw you and screamed immediately. We can try again later."
There was nothing but silence between them. The only thing that could be heard was the voices of raindrops touching the ground. They were looking at each other dead in the eye. At this point, they both knew what was going on, but were scared to go on with it. They didn't want to abandon their memories, their bond. But the sides they chose were different.
"Craig... You are here to kill me, aren't you?"
"You are god damn right." Said Craig, and launched a shadow blast towards him. Alfred immediately dodged that. It seems Craig was also a Soul Host.
"I am very dumb to never get suspicious of you for having a Soul. Leader of Thieves Guild, not having a Soul? That is funny."
"Just surrender Al. Don't struggle. I am several times stronger than you."
"I won't surrender to a backstabber like you. You abandoned our relationship." Said Alfred, while drawing his knife. His voice was cracking. He had to kill his best friend.
Alfred rushed in and swung his knife at Craig multiple times. Craig dodged all of them easily and threw another Shadow Blast. Alfred was blown away. He hit the wall and fell to the ground. Because it was dark, he couldn't see his black attack.
"I wanted you to have a Soul, and not be a possible Extend Host. I truly did. This is just how fate is Alfred, I am sorry." When he was approaching, Alfred Remembered Helena's words: 'You only need to see the Type and skill in action once or twice, then you can copy it naturally. It's as easy as breathing. He didn't see it clearly, but he took the hit once. He tried to feel the shadow in his hands. A misty thing appeared in his hands. He understood that this was the Shadow Blast.
When Craig was approaching, he rolled to the left side and threw the Shadow Blast at him. Craig wasn't expecting this, so he failed to dodge it and took the hit, falling to the ground. Alfred threw his knife at him and started rushing towards Craig. The knife hit Craig's stomach and before he could recover Alfred jumped on him. He started punching Craig's face. The raindrops were clearing Craig's face and Alfred's fist from the blood.
"Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die." Alfred was saying while he punched him. He was numb. Even though Craig died after the third punch, he kept hitting on him. After a while, he stopped. Looking at Craig's face, you wouldn't say it belongs to a human. There was only flesh left. You could see the skull and the brain. His skull was cracked, and his brain was shredded to pieces.
He looked at his clothes, there was a name on his jacket; Hannibal.
"Good twist you guys did there, C. Hannibal, as eating the Hans'. Don't mess with this Han though. Actually, it's too late to say that. You already fucked my whole life." Alfred spit on his face, or to be exact what was left of his face. "Don't mess with this Han, fuckface." He left the alleyway and talked to Helena:
"I made my decision Helena. Before I die, I am going to kill the Hannibals. All of them. Let's see how you like it when this Hannibal eats you."
