Disaster enters

Everytime I eat, I feel like I'm swallowing something that seems like a liquid. It's indeed weird, but even though it feels like water the taste is still normal.

Due to that, I always shrug off the suspicion about the food. It's not like it's poisoning me or something.

This idea had been bugging me, "Is this really reality?" I didn't notice it, but I said my thoughts aloud. All of my classmates heard me say it, and they looked at me like something's wrong with what I said. It's weird, but is it really that too much for them to look at me like I did something wrong?

"SysTEm ErRoR!" My classmates and Miss Rhealyn, stared at me with a distorted look on their faces. I looked at them carefully while feeling a huge amount of pressure.

"Why do you all have red eyes?!" I shouted in fear. They stood up from their places and slowly headed to my position. I stood up shaking, and I immediately ran towards the classroom exit.

"Come on!!!" I said as I tried to open the door. I kept on trying again and again, but I wasn't able to open it in time. Gaia and Xeno reached my distance.

"Ga-Gaia, helppp meee! I'm scared!!! Pleassseeee!!! Xeno!?" I tried to ask them for help while my tears kept flowing down on the floor. Xeno didn't respond, but I saw Gaia's eye suddenly turned back to normal.

I tried reaching her, but Aldrich suddenly came running and hit me with a wooden bat. I slowly lost my consciousness, but before it did, I heard someone talk, "I'm sorry about that, you won't feel any real life pain anyway... I promise you, I'll protect you from them!"

My consciousness drifted away... When it restored back to normal, I found myself sitting back in my original chair inside our classroom. I saw one of my classmates staring at me while trying to ward off her laugh.

"Hey airhead! Are you okay?" Catherine, the girl that was staring at me suddenly asked me if I'm okay. I was confused,.. I looked around our room and saw that everything was fine. The eyes of my teacher and classmates are all back to normal. I felt a relief after knowing that everything that happened now was just my --Imagination?!--.

I sighed and answered Catherine with my serious voice, "It's none of your concern..." She stayed silent for a moment, but then she suddenly released the laugh that she was holding off. "HAHAHA, Yeah, it's none of my concerns indeed, but you were literally sleeping during miss Rhealyn's class." Catherine said in an annoying tone.

"What?! Really?! Am I in big trouble?!" I frustratedly asked Catherine. She smiled and answered my question, "No, you're not in big trouble. Xeno and Mark explained what's going on about you. They said that you've been acting kind of weird during this past few days. You're even very lucky because Miss Rhealyn was the one who recommended it to not wake you up. In terms of the discussion you missed, we're here to recap it all for you."

Xeno, Mark, and Aldrich nodded when I looked at them. I smiled knowing that I have friends to back me up.

I suddenly looked at my hand, and stated a hypothesis that only my mind could hear this time, "Everytime I doubt this world, I think it's finding a way to destroy me."
