"Oiii! Good morning Ascrid!" Aldrich said as he waved his hand towards his friend, Ascrid. Ascrid smiled and ran towards him and then said, "Good morning writer!!!"
Aldrich giggled and clinged on Ascrid's shoulder. "Pfft, Writer?! You know you're late right?" He said. "It's still 7:30 a.m." Ascrid pouted. They kept on talking while Gaia was carefully looking at them. They were too focused about their conversation, that's why they weren't able to notice that Gaia and also Xeno are looking at both them.
Gaia was carefully looking at Ascrid and Aldrich while they were talking. Inside her head was a sound. A sound of both doom and despair combined. "Ga-Gaia, helppp meee! I'm scared!!! Pleassseeee!!! Xeno!?" She kept recalling the memory of Ascrid begging for her help.
She felt like it was just her imagination, but something made her think twice.
Yesterday, when she was on her way home. She saw Aldrich and Xeno talking while walking towards a coffee shop. She tried to approach them personally, but their faces show that the conversation they are having is something very important, and is not to be interrupted.
She decided to follow them inside the coffee shop. Gaia sat behind them and listened to their conversation.
"Xen... Remember the last time he saw Miku?" Aldrich asked Xeno with a very serious tone. Xeno took a sip of his coffee and answered Aldrich, "Yeah... He said stop pretending..."
Aldrich looked very serious, and it startled Gaia for a little. Gaia knew that Aldrich is not a type of guy who'd be totally serious about something even if it's very important. That's why making him be like that is nearly impossible.
"Hey Drich, the thing that happened yesterday during miss Rhealyn's class... You noticed it right?" Xeno whispered to Aldrich.
Aldrich nodded and stated something unexplainable, "I did notice it, in fact I was able to snap out of it. I was just minding my own business when this electric current entered my head. It kept repeating a sentence saying --Kill Ascrid--. I don't know what was going on, but suddenly... My body stood up by itself and started to move. When I was about to step away from my table, my body felt a sensation. A sensation preventing me from walking away. I snapped out of that --System error--, and then a voice of a girl resonated inside my head. It told me to hit Ascrid with a wooden bat. I didn't want to believe it, but it told me that I should trust her. It took me a while to do what she said, since I'm worried about what will happen to Ascrid. When she said that he literally won't get physically hurt, I took out the bat from Xeno's chair and then I hit Ascrid. I felt guilty at first, but it turns out that Ascrid won't physically get hurt and the voice I heard wasn't lying."
Xeno looked confused and scratched his head. He responded with a "Huh?!", and stared at Aldrich. If I weren't your friend, I really won't believe you." Hesaid.
Aldrich glared at Xeno saying, "You believe me right?"
Xeno nodded and answered, "Don't worry, I believe you." He finished drinking the remains of his coffee and said, "Next time you snap out of it, be sure to snap me out from it as well. I don't want to make Ascrid break down in front of me again."
Aldrich nodded and started drinking his coffee.

"HAhahA!!! There you are! So you're the bug that's trying to infest the system!" Mou shouted as he watched Aldrich and Xeno's conversation through a computer monitor.
He ominously laughed and started to plot a way on how to kill the error living inside the simulation of reality.
