Their Home

In the coming days, Marcella and Tony moved to her family home. When she entered, what welcomed her was the sign—DeAngelo Estate.

Marcella was touched. Tony stopped saying that to her but she knew that he was not very pleased that she changed her surname. He was touched she took his name but he was sad that she was not using her father's surname. He must have come up with this plan for her father's name to be memorialized.

She was touched. She married the right person.

Marcella observed Tony's face as he brought her to their bedroom. She thought he would make sure that she kept his worktable there first. But his eyes ended up at the big bed. Then he looked around.

"The crib is not here," he looked at her. On his face was a wide grin—one Marcella was privy to.

Marcella bowed her head and chuckled.

Of course, he would check on that first!
