Nail in the Coffin

"Is it fine though? You should ask your…husband. He's your husband now, isn't he? He didn't invite my husband. He only invited me, using my maiden name. Don't know what that was about…"

With her eyebrows raised she stared at Aiden. Aiden gulped and took a step back. He was already in shock seeing the name on the gift and now she openly confronted him with something he did with malice in his heart. His first instinct was to back off. He had never seen her like this before. She had become an entirely different person. It was unbelievable.

"Never mind," Marcella with a grin waved her hand off and turned her attention toward Cindy. "It's a weekday. We have work to do," she shrugged.
